I agree with that, however...surfing Pikachu. they made that. But they also made it make sence! On PBR it had a surfboard (when using surf). So in my opinion the balloons would make it, wierd, but wonderful and work.

I don't see why Fly and Surf are so popular though.

A katanta would be leathal (typo) and if he had it, he would use it in battle, and the creators dont want blood and gore in the game which is why they make pokemon faint and not die.

They also like Fly and surf on a pikachu, because it's unusual but still cool.

In reality all the ballons would go *pop* and that would be the end of flying pikachu.
not like a surfboard which would actually support weight. Then again it is the pokémon world so I don't know if they actually have laws of physics...

They should make custom sprites for Pikachu for all HM's.

Surfing Pika- Surfboard
Flying Pika- Balloons
Cutting Pika- Katana (Lawl goo idea rocketman)
Diving Pika- Scuba Gear (You too painter)
Headbutt Pika- Helmet
Defog Pika- Propeller on his/her head.
Flash Pika- Pika with a flashlight
Rock Climb Pika- Rock Climbing gear.
Strength Pika- A Pikachu with Abs and Biceps and stuff.
