Focus Shift

"Two" Josh said, "And they attacked me first" he continued, "But for the time being it probably would be a good idea to find the others and leave" he finished. "For the time being though i'm going to stay here" he gave a small smile, "I might give an encore of my earlier fire-breathing performance" he gave a small laugh, "or I might find some other way to entertain myself" he finished.

Murder in Jubilife!​

"After this is over, I should take both Raike and Josh to jail but I will not, however if anything else happens..." Miharu said before turning to me, "Raike decided to attack someone in the streets, my shiny gengar, Nightmare, hit the guy on the head with a bat when Raike decided to hit my hand, and Josh, apparently, killed one or more people. Yay for Jubilife City! We need to find Anthony so I can kick him in the face."

I was wondering whether I should laugh or be completely shocked. The kicking Anthony in the face part was funny, but the murder part was not. "Y-you killed someone?!" I stuttered as I turned to Josh. "Oh, joy. Welcome to Jubilife. The city of jubilee, TV stations, the poketch company, and now murder!"

I put the murder thought out of my mind, but I knew we should leave soon. "So, how long 'til we go to Canalave Library or Turnback Cave?"
 
Miharu shrugged at Kris's question. "Until Josh gets rid of his slight insanity and everyone is fully healed. Or, I guess, until Anthony tells us too." Miharu paused. "What I am wondering is when did Anthony become the 'leader' of this little group of ragtag misfits."

-Raike sighed, looking at Miharu. He lowered his eyelids, giving a" are you serious" look.-

"I just think you should know before you "convict" me, I was acting to protect Raven. Two that wasn't even a pokeball, I saw an engraving on the back, apparently someone has invented pokeballs that morph into some kind of torturing device. It seems that once a pokemon was in that pokeball, it would literally be like hell in there. Now if you think thats okay, I have a problem with that. But right now, I'm going to be on the roof."

-Raike walked off. He left the room, but not before grabbing 3 cans of sprite from the mini fridge, and stuffing them in his jacket pocket.-

-At last he reached the roof. The elevator had broken apparently, so they had been forced to walk all the way. He got to the edge of the building and stopped, popping a can of sprite open and taking a sip. He then pulled out the 3 pokeballs he had gotten from the pokemon center, before the whole bridge accident, and threw them up in the air, releasing the Blaziken, Staraptor, and Haunter, who greeted him happily. Raike smiled, happy to be able to just chill with his pokemon after a day like today. He then looked down at his chest and touched it. I came away faintly red.-

"Heh, seems I might have overdone it a bit... oh well."

The misfits' leader...

Miharu asked a question and Raike left. "What I am wondering is when did Anthony become the 'leader' of this little group of ragtag misfits."

"Probably when he called us all to Mirage Island..." I replied. I fiddled with my arrows and sword for a little while. It would be cool if I could turn these into exploding arrows... I thought.
 
"Anthony became the leader because we let him become the leader, if you want to take the power away from him then feel free." Josh said. Josh laid on the bed and waited for them to leave, "I think i'm better anyways, the little display earlier seems to be the last thing I want to do now".
 
Miharu shook her head. "No, I do not wish to become the 'leader', but does anyone not think we should test Anthony...No, I will test Anthony. After all, a true leader can pass all tests."

Anthony waited in the hospital for any report of Harley gaining health. He sat there amidst the other people in the hospital foyer for a doctor to come tell him that Harley was going to be alright.

"Anthony Stagg?" a doctor called out and without waiting Anthony got up and walked over to him, "Yes, thats me, how is she?" he said a bit rapidly.

"She was fine, she only had minor injuries, but should heal soon, there is only one problem..." the doctor said trailing off.

Anthony grabbed the Doctor's scrubs, "just tell me what is wrong, please!" he said a bit loudly.

"It seems that, Mr. Stagg, Harley has disappeared. Her bed is empty." he said, a little shaken from Anthony grabbing hold of him. Anthony cursed loudly and touched Pitch who was faithfully by his side, and in a split second he reappeared in the Aether Realm, breathing deeply.

Kellyn watched from a distance at the drama that was unfolding in the Hospital. His ears perked up when he heard the name 'Anthony Stagg', the one who had sent the call through the Aether Realm, that he had been unable to attend. But he dismissed it as a mere coincidence, that was until he saw the man disappear in front of his eyes, surprising not only the doctor, but several other people too. Kellyn Shifted too, and was not too surprised to find Anthony in the Aether Realm.

"So you are the Anthony Stagg?" he asked. Anthony looked at Kellyn, a little surprised at the discovery of another shifter.

Anthony made an attempt at a smile, "Another Shifter? Welcome aboard. And your name is?"
 
OOC: This all happens whenever Miharu finally gets around to leaving the hotel room, Kk?

"Fine then, who is the leader if he fails though?" Josh asked, then realized that Miharu had already left. Josh shrugged, he should probably explain what happened to Odessa anyways, he sighed then let her out of her ball.

Odessa gave Josh a quick look-over and her ears drooped when she saw the stitches in his arm. Josh wondered where he should start and realized this would probably be easier to explain with the limited telepathy the Aether realm granted. He watched as the world changed, the color drained, before he could start explaining what happened to Odessa she gave a short mental sentence, "What stupid thing happened now?" she said accusingly. Josh sighed and started with the train crash, Miharu knocking him out, Josh got the feeling Odessa wanted to hurt Miharu but he continued on to coming to Jubilife, buying the gun, Miharu's blackmail, Raike's display, Josh glossed over the attacks but he felt Odessa growl as he skipped over them, then Miharu returning to the hotel and his little display, along with Miharu handcuffing him.

Josh finished the story and waited to see what Odessa would say, "Can I kill Miharu?" she said simply, not the answer Josh had expected, "No, no you may not." he replied. He wondered what would happen next, "Fine then." she paused for a moment, "You are not allowed out of my sight now though" she said with finality, "Fine then" Josh said, "now we wait for everyone else to return" he finished. He hugged Odessa and the world returned to color as they re-entered the contemporary realm, she nuzzled his shoulder and they waited for the others to return.

"I'm Kellyn, He responded, "and yes I'm a shifter. This is my catalyst, Bliss," he pointed at his partner who nuzzled his hand. "I heard you're Call that ordered us to go to Mirage Island." He sighed, "Unfortanetly I wasn't able to come as I was busy doing something. Now Anthony Stagg, What is it you wanted from me."
 
"Hello there Kellyn," Anthony said, "what I want from you is your participation is saving the world. If you have any questions about anything, I will be glad to answer them to the best of my knowledge, we don't really know much about what we are yet." Anthony paused for a bit to let it sink in with Kellyn.

"So, Kellyn, lets go meet the others!" he said as he started off towards the hotel, the rage inside him from Harley leaving now gone.
 
Kellyn smirked and followed Anthony. He was surprised to find another Shifter in the hospital, let alone it being the one who sent the Call. He was hoping this man knew more about shifting then he did and more about that shadow in the aether world too.
"Umm, excuse me," he said, "but what exactly are we saving the world from."
 
He smiled and started following again, petting Bliss. So that shadow is a bad thing, he thought, thinking about their last encounter.
 
"That, is some great sprite right there, don't you think Flare? Valkyrie?"

-Both the Blaziken and Haunter held up their cans, cheering. Raike laughed also, but an idea popped into his mind. He threw a grin at the two pokemon, laughing slightly.-

"Hey... I bet you guys can't shoot those cans into that trash can down there. If you do, 2 more rounds of sprite on me, but if you don't, you have to...hmm, I will tell you what happens if you don't make it. Haha, hey flare, your up first!"

-The Blaziken grinned, before setting the can ablaze, then proceeded to execute a fade-away shot, which as Raike watched, fell like a meteor into the can, extinguishing soon after. Flare high fived Valkyrie, both grinning. Raike smirked, pointing at Valkyre-

"Don't get too excited guys, you still have to make it Valkyrie. Now go!"

-Valkyrie fired off a shot that seemed really bad, flying off target. Raike turned to look at Valkyrie but she had vanished. Raike turned to watch as the can righted itself, and flew straight into the can. Valkyrie then reappeared next to Flare, grinning wildly. Raike threw a skeptical look at her, but then both pokemon pointed at him.-

"Oh, you want me to try huh? Fine, I'll show you how its done, stand back."

-Raike fired off a jump shot, which instead of even going in the direction of the trash can, flew towards two people who were walking towards the hotel. Raike looked closer and saw that it was Anthony, and an anime styled sweat drop appeared on the back of his head, and he pushed the pokemon out of viewpoint, before completely rushing down to the room. He opened the window, listening for the "clank sound of the can hitting Anthony.-

"Haha, oh crap, he's gonna kill me..."

-Flare and Valkyrie both were rolling on the floor laughing as silently as possibly. Staraptor just sighed-

As I was still looking over my newly acquired weapons, Raike jumped in through the window. His Haunter and Blaziken were rolling on the floor, laughing silently. "So, what'd you do?" I asked, not bothering to take a look out the window. I put my katana in its sheath and my arrows away.

Anthony and Kellyn exited the Aether Realm from across the street from the Hotel, and on the way across, he felt a can hit him in the head, and Anthony instinctively looked up to find nothing. He picked up the can, rubbing his head with his other hand and proceeded into the Hotel with Kellyn following behind. They took the elevator up to the Hotel room, and entered to find nearly everyone inside the hotel room, Raike looking slightly embarrassed.

"So, guys, this is Kellyn, our new Shifter. Whats been happening?" he said, pointing to Kellyn.
 
Kellyn walked into the hotel, laughing. He hadn't seen the can till it was to late. He waved at everyone, "I'm Kellyn," he said, "And this is my partner, Bliss."
 
Miharu rose an eyebrow at the new shifter. "I do not think I should say about anything that has happened in case we might run the new shifter out." Miharu gave a look at Raike and Josh. Miharu paused, suddenly getting an idea about test. "But it is good that we have a new member, since I will be leaving."
 
"Hello Kellyn" Miharu said something about not saying anything and leaving,"Alright then Miharu, you're leaving, but i'm going to blunt about how things have been", Josh started "I've killed two people in self-defense on this fine night, Miharu" he said, giving a vague gesture towards Miharu, "stopped Raike" another vague gesture, "from apparently trying to murder his brother earlier, but his brother got the **** beat out of him by Miharu's Gengar with a baseball bat, only after Miharu stopped Raike from killing his brother though, thats Kris" another vague gesture, "and i'm not sure where Harley is, but welcome!" he finished, he realized he had been a bit blunt but he didn't feel like it was right to lie to the newcomer.
