Fonts

I was previously using an olive green font in Ludica Sans Unicode because it gave my posts a more unique feature compared to other posters, but then Abnegation came along and suggested using Tahoma to make my posts look more professional. At first I was, no, I really don't want to do this. But once I tried it I realised it really did look more professional but the downside was it was common, but I have grown to like Tahoma and I don't think I will change it for a long time. Thank you, Abnegation. Aha.

I'm using Microsoft Sans Serif right now XD

I'm probably going to keep it like this tho.

I am using the default one.

I think it looks pretty good.

Seen as I saw troubled members whilst looking through, let me give you a hand.

I just use the default font because I have no idea how to change it. XD

It's simple to do my friend, all you do if go to your User CP (top left hand corner) and a drop down menu should appear, click on Edit Options and if you scroll down until you come down to a section which looks like this (in the spoiler, that is):

Spoiler:

Choose your settings and edit away, once you've done scroll down the bottom of your screen and save it. :D

Hope it helps~

Oh lol looks like I have a lot to learn. I always just click "Post Reply" then type up my message and change the font manually. Thanks for that Cold Fusion :)

Right now I use Trebuchet, but for posts and other online body type I'll also use Verdana or Arial. For heading type on the internet I go with Trebuchet, Georgia, or sometimes Arial Black.

For things not restricted to being web-safe, I am a fan of Eurostile, Optima, Univers, Frutiger, and Minion. For most of them it's because they are crisp and sophisticated but aren't overused like some other fonts. Minion is what I use for papers most of the time.

Comic Sans is a terrible choice for body copy (Especially in things like school papers. What possesses people to think it's a good idea?). It makes me cringe. Some people can get away with using it but I really don't even want to see that font at all. That and Papyrus.

On PC, I don't bother changing it, with exception to my profile font, which is Georgia. Even though it's easy to do these days, I don't feel like changing it. idk, it'd make me feel like I'd stick out too much?

For my personal writing, almost all of my main files are in Tahoma. Simple font, looks nice, easy to read, like it slightly better than Verdana. I've also done stuff in Arial, Trebuchet MS, Times New Roman (although I tend to stay away from that font), and -- as a completely joke -- Comic Sans MS.

I don't nessacrily have a prefrence of a certain font I use all the time, I only use a different font when I feel like it, just something I do randomly at times I think. However my favorite would have to be Georgia, when I do feel like using a font. <3

When I first joined Pokecommunity, I began using Comic Sans MS as my default font. I thought it was bubbly and comic-like but soon found out that it was very annoying to others. Soon, I started looking for a better font to replace Comic Sans MS. The reason was because it started to get really bland for me, and the purple color I added to it seemed to annoy some members.

I eventually found fonts like Tahoma, Calibri, Arial, Helvetica, and Georgia. Verdana was way too wide and spaced out for me, and it just made everything looked bigger. I used Helvetica for a week or so before crushing on Arial for the whole month of April '09. Eventually, that faded away and I came to realize that Tahoma was my ideal font. It was neat, and many liked it. I personally like it myself.

I tried Georgie every once and then, but that was only on special occasion. Some of my teachers forced me to only use fonts like Times New Roman, but prefer to type out my paper with Calibri instead. I just think that Times New Roman is way too small and annoying to read. Throughout my lifetime, I've experimented with other fonts than those mentioned about. Some of them are crazy symbols or fonts I found on Microsoft Words or on the internet.

Seems like Tahoma is a rather favourable choice for its regular, slim appearance.

No exception here, I love Tahoma and use it over any other font nowadays. I do alternate between that and Trebuchet MS from time to time, but for the most part I use Tahoma.

Tahoma is my default font for both the forums as a whole, and my posts.

I believe my alt uses Franklin Gothic Medium, because I like that one quite a bit too..

aaaand.. my MSN font is currently 'Zurich Ex BT'. Doubt too many use / know of that one.

On MSN, I now use... Italic and bold Seguo UI-- HEY THAT LOOKS NICE omg.

...anyway, I also like Times New Roman, Tahoma and Trebuchet MS. I have no clue why I'm using this font on PC, though.

I use Verdana, which is pretty much default for me.
It looks good and well organized.

I have been using Book Antiqua for a while now... I like it because it is readable, but a little different from the norm. I changed my font to give it a more personal feel.
My alt uses Book Antiqua as well, though in light blue~

When it comes to forums, IMs, or even essay writing, I only go by Tahoma. I used to use the default font style everywhere, and I never checked other fonts. But I saw someone on an off-topic forum using Tahoma, and I liked it better than the default one. So, yeah, since then, I have been using it for pretty much everything.
