Welcome to my thread. You're probably wondering who the heck I am. Fair enough, I think it would be worth your time to give myself a proper introduction.

My name is Scott. I originally joined the Marriland forums back in 2012, because having watched his videos since his Diamond Adventure in 2007, you'd think I would join his forums eventually. So I did. I have liked my time on that forum. I have talked about him on these forums quite a bit, so as you can see i'm primarily native to his side.

So I found out about PokéCommunity while I was browsing videos on Monotypes, because I had finished a Monotype over on Marriland not too long prior, and I found stuff about the Ultimate Monotype Challenge from a certain user whom I won't name. And that's how I found out about this site. So I joined. And I came to like all the forums this place had to offer, so I stuck with it!

I did join other forums back in my years, but I don't want to go there. I will say this now, when I first joined Smogon in 2005, NOBODY liked me. Not a single person. I couldn't make five posts without getting ridiculed. I did not take being hated very well at all. There were a couple people, who, in few words, even said "people like you make the world worth destroying". Just to give you an idea of how terrible a person I was made out to be.

And on Marriland, I feel the exact opposite. Some people there have called me one of the most mature people they've gotten to know on that forum, and that I handle things nicely and constructively. It just really feels good being cared for.

For that matter, i've said this in my About Me on my profile, but i'm the kind of guy who's very passionate about his friends. I can get very appreciative when people are nice to me, and I care about making sure people are alright when they're upset. I might come off to some as over-appreciative. You can say i'm easily touched by girls when they're nice to me, but in real life I don't always get along with people.

And since I mentioned challenges, I will say that i've done a couple Nuzlockes and Monotypes on Marriland, and even his creation, the Wedlocke. I watched his Heart Gold Wedlocke series when he first made it, and it really makes the original Nuzlocke look tame in comparison. I like it because it REALLY requires you to plan out what you do with your team, since you can only use two Pokémon in battle and can't deposit stuff to your PC. I completed one myself and it was pretty awesome.

But here are more questions about me that are basic and i'm sure some of you will probably wonder:
    Spoiler:

But that's all i'm gonna mention for now! I'll try to answer any questions you have for me. So, yeah. Discuss.

    Hiya!

What are your hobbies outside of forums/the internet?

What are your goals in life?

What's your favorite Generation VI Pokemon?

Yay for getting a visitor. :D

I like going outside for walks, playing video games, sometimes watching TV, writing stuff, things like that. And of course, being a vegetable.

I haven't really decided. I'm a Comm major at the moment, but after a recent talk with my advisors, they said it might be best for me to change my major given the overwhelming amount of work that's gone into some of the classes i'm taking for it. But I haven't really decided, so I can't give a concrete answer to that question at the moment.

That's a really good question. But for now I think I have to go with Pangoro. I've really liked the idea of a panda Pokémon, and this one in particular hits quite hard and has a bit going for it. It's not that great competitively, but it's still really cool.

Also, I might revise the OP a bit and add more about me so you guys can get to know me better than what i've established, maybe put answers to basic questions i'm likely to get. EDIT: Did just that.

Phantom, I have no idea what you're even talking about. xP

What was your fave of Marriland's videos on YouTube and why? asked by Hikamaru
Yes I have been on his forums *points to his linked website*. As for what my favorite video of his would be?
    Spoiler:

Guess i'll rebump this in the hopes that maybe someone will actually ask me something productive, and not spam this with posts like that.

(And maybe I should change the title of the thread to keep that from happening again, by the way.)

What do you think about your life? Is it good, bad, not worth living, one big party?
What would your best advice on Forums be? Especially to a n00b like me? :P
If you were some random person, what would you ask yourself?

Hey ive seen you around! And after reading your intro im really interested in getting to know you better (:
So here are a few questions:

    1) If you could only eat one certain meal/dish for the rest of your life, what would it be?
    2) What is it that you like about Marriland so much??
    3) You have 3 wishes - what do you wish for?
    4) Im a huge Houndoom fan myself, what do you think of its Mega-Evolution?
    5) What are 3 things you cant see yourself living without?

Well, it's been a little while since I got back to this, so let's answer these. Sorry for the delay!

What do you think about your life? Is it good, bad, not worth living, one big party? Asked by Blu-Ray
I'm satisfied with my life. Even though I don't have any real irl friends to hang out with, i'm happy with what i've managed to accomplish, given that I had been very misbehaved in earlier years but feel much more mature now.

If you want to meet new people, you're best just being yourself and hopefully they won't mind you. And find areas that interest you, don't be afraid to voice how you feel.

If you were some random person, what would you ask yourself? Asked by Blu-Ray
"Why is this world so messed up and what has happened to the economy?" Yeah, you can tell i'm not feeling very active at the moment.

If you could only eat one certain meal/dish for the rest of your life, what would it be? Asked by Zorogami
Good question, but I think i'll go with pizza. Why? Because there are so many good kinds of pizza, toppings, flavorings, and what not. It's the only thing in life I understand. :P (reference to one of shofu's Wi-Fi Battles.) Either that or potatoes of any kind, those are good too.

What is it that you like about Marriland so much?? Asked by Zorogami
Well, I first watched his Diamond Adventure in 2007. While I had basically got through Pearl in a week, he played a narrated post-commentary adventure of the game that covered every area in detail. I also remember reading his walkthrough before DP even came out in the US (this was while it was out in Japan). Then when he made his Platinum Adventure two years later, that was fun to watch also. I also read his HGSS and BW walkthroughs a while back, and his White Adventure. Then when I saw parts of his Japanese Black 2 playthrough one day while I was just browsing his stuff - most notably Black Kyurem, Colress and the final battles, that was when I was "accidentally" spoiled myself, and I thought, "omg, can I has this game". It was by far the most excited I had been for a Pokémon game in a long time. He also wrote his massive BW2 walkthrough, and when he used an HD recording for his English White 2 Adventure, that was a good setup. I could go on, but I think i've said enough here. In short: his walkthroughs and commentaries in his series.

You have 3 wishes - what do you wish for? Asked by Zorogami
One, to have money that I could give to others in need.
Two, to have the same luck getting shines as certain other people here and have a gorgeous library of them.
Three, that I could actually feel more confident about matters like talking to people irl and being able to memorize stuff I read in my classes.

Im a huge Houndoom fan myself, what do you think of its Mega-Evolution? Asked by Zorogami
As one of my favorite Pokémon, I can say it's really cool, but its setup is slightly impractical since Solar Power probably needs Drought to work effectively. But 140 Sp Atk/115 Speed is pretty solid, admittedly. I haven't actually used it seriously for anything, so I can't really say.

What are 3 things you cant see yourself living without? Asked by Zorogami
My computer, my (3)DS systems and my books. That last one was kinda random.
