Fortunately, the swamp they fell into was only a foot deep. Everybody soon realized that all they had to do was stand up and they would not drown.

Unfortunately, the bottom of the swamp was composed entirely of quicksand.

Fortunately, by that time Louis had finished scratching and came to the rescue!

Unfortunately, they were wearing very heavy boots and started to sink faster.

Fortunately, a pirate ship was going by in the quicksand swamp. Everyone, including Louis the alligator was brought on board!

Unfortunately, the pirates were cannibals and their ship was stuck due to the shallowness of the swamp. Plus, it was sinking in the quicksand. :/ Not a great situation.

Fotrunately, everyone decided to work together to build rafts that would safely float them out of the swamp and not sink into the quicksand.

Unfortunately, the pirates are still cannibals and swarmed them while they were crafting the rafts.
(I've only done unfortunately so far. Eh, I'm kinda a pessimist in real life, more so a realist.)

Fortunately, the pirates are very easy to kick overboard into the swamp!

Umfortunately, most of the pirates had peg legs to combat the quicksand and easily discarded them to launch themselves back onto the boat!

Fortunately, a rival crew of benevolent air pirates arrived to rescue everyone with their flying ship!

Unfortunately, the ship was too high for the group to reach.

Fortunately, the kindly rival pirates threw flotation devices to help all the drowning folk.

Unfortunately, the flotation devices had been sabotaged and were losing air!

Unfortunately, they didn't know who the cannibal pirates were at the time and also threw them floaties.

Fortunately, the cannibal pirates decides that they're not worth eating

Unfortunately, one of the people's pride was wounded and they convinced the pirates they were tasty.

Fortunately, the cannibal pirates were so excited that they didn't see the other pirates getting ready to toss a huge net over them until it was too late. They were captured!

Unfortunately, they broke the net and began to crawl out.

Fortunately, all the lost travellers managed to board the other ship in the meantime and start sailing away!
