Dunno if this goes here, but I was wandering if there are any free web-hosting services that allow you to import HTML files. I designed a website using Notepad and I would like to get it on the net. I don't care if the service places ads on my site, just as long as they're at the bottom of the page or display before the page loads or simply are in pop-up windows.

Also, the link to "Angel Towns" in the resources thread links to porn. You mods might want to remove that.

I use Vistapanel, they are safe and free as I know. Maybe you can try UCOZ, or Freewebs. They have FTP, but for the freewebs, you have to change it to HTML only. Forgot to say, if you use Vistapanel, they only allow gmail.

I might suggest to google it in the future...

For something simple, Freewebs works pretty well.
This could be good, though I haven't heard of them before.

    Or maybe here.

And I sent the mod a note about the stickies, maybe I can get those fixed up. JA's list is so out of date.

x10 worked great for me, but you have to log into their forums every two weeks or so, which is annoying.
