    Have you ever had a crush on a best friend?

    Hm, yes I had...
    My best friend at Elementary School and me, we were best friends all the time but she always went to a person I can't stand because she wanted to rob my GBA and I told her she shouldn't go to this person all the time.
    And by the time, we went to different high schools, we didn't see eachother a lot and yes... I guess someone told her bad stories about me that hadn't been true>>
    Sometimes I see her in the bus and I unfortunately have to say she has really turned into a *****. But I'm glad not to hang around with her anymore.
    I have better friends now...
     
    No, I haven't. Maybe that's because I've never been in love before. ^^' At least, I don't think I've been. I had some good friends who fell in love with me, but unfortetlany I had to reject them.. I really love and care about them, but I wouldn't like it to have something more than friendship with them. So, I'm sorry to tell you this, but for them it didn't really turn out good. We're all still good friends, though. That's a thing I'm really happy about. ^^ I'd rather be best friends than screw up the whole relationship due to falling in love. It doesn't have to turn out that way, but.. I don't know. *Shrugs*

    All I can say is that you got to follow your heart. If you're real friends the one you like will accept it, and if he/she doesn't return your feelings you're still should be able to stay friends. All the best! (=
     
    Yes, it was a rather random day and suddenly me and my best friend were going out... It lasted three weeks and now we can hardly speak to each other, which I'm really sad and annoyed by.

    Yes. I never told the person and ignored it long enough that it went away. I can't really elaborate much more than that since that's all that ever came of it. XD;
     
    Well, I told her, and, since she didn't like me that way, we were so embarrased that we couldn't look at each other for a year XD
    Now we laugh each time we remember it (and I pretend it to have never happened most of the time).

    In fact, he was a crush first, then a best friend. But he made it clear "no offense, but I only like you as a good friend...". My feelings never changed but I pretty much shoved them aside, not allowing myself to feel too hurt an almost forgetting my stronger feelings towards him. I wanted to be his friend and not loose him, so I pretty much decided there was no point in mulling over someone I couldn't have, so we became best friends.

    The consequences were that I was in denial about my feelings for my crush - and best friend - in case I would get hurt. But 2 years ago we started kissing out of the blue, and a day or two after he announced his feelings for me. We've been together ever since.
     
    This actually just happened to me like, last month XD

    I asked this girl out that I had known for a while, and we were good friends before that, and she said yes. Anyways we went out a few times together, and had alot of fun, then after like..3 days, we both kinda came to the mutual agreement that it was just..too damn weird, and ended it. I have no idea why it's so much easier to ask out a complete stranger than your best friend, it just is ._.
     
    I had a crush on my best guy friend and he had a crush on me. We were gonna go out last year or this year but I moved and had to change school. Now we never see each other at all.
     
    Right now I do have a crush on my best friend. So I don't know the consequences yet. O.O
    But I is going out with Haley so the world musn't know. I mean, she has friends of her own. But we're friends, I guess. O_o; Imalsoherboyfriend. I call bragging rights. <333
     
    lol That happened once a long time ago, but it on the same day as it occured.
    Simply, because the person I had a crush on was just because of their appearance, nothing more.
     
    Yeah, I did, for a week? Maybe two weeks? Whatever, I ignored it and it went away. :D
     
    About one month ago, I went ice skating and met my friend's best friend. She was really sweet, and she always was sad and she doubted herself. I tried to help her, and I even asked her out. She said maybe for a while and then said no. I don't have a problem with that. She is a very fun and beautiful girl. She needs someone, and i finally, today, I found her someone. She loves me more than him xD.
     
    Oh yeah. I've had crushes on my some of my female friends before.
    The first girl dumped me and I was really sad. Now we hardly ever talk D:

    Then the second girl told me that she didnt like me that way. However, She did say that I was a great guy. Not hurt so bad there because I was sorta fighting the crush the whole time and when I asked her it was on the last few days where the crush is still there but it was really weak. She still talks to me. No feelings hurt there.

    The third girl is my current pair. :D Yeah. Me and her were friends.
    funny story really.
    I was private messaging someone in the PC chatroom about it. (I was scared, and I was asking another friend if I should ask her) and I mistyped the command for private messages so it got sent right to the channel for EVERYONE to see. And she was in the chat at the time so she saw it. Thankfully it turned out she had a crush on me too. xD (This was later confirmed by her friends). So all has turned out well so far.
     
    I don't really have a "best friend" since I have many friends I value equally, but to answer the question: yes, I currently do have a crush on one of my best friends, but I keep it to myself. We've been friends for over a year now and although I only realized it recently, I've actually had a crush on her for just as long and although rumor has it (and has had for quite a long time) that she also has one on me, I'm not planning to tell her any time soon. I'd rather keep it to myself than risk losing our friendship. (although the sudden mood swings I get as a result from doing so can be annoying :x) Not only that, but even if the feeling was mutual and we'd end up dating, I'd probably just screw up anyway because I honestly can't imagine a more awkward situation for me than a date.

    For now I'm happy just being friends with her and I think it's better for the both of us. At this stage of life dating should definitely not be the most important thing on your mind. After all, there's plenty of time for that later on in life.
     
    I honestly have no idea how a good friendship can be ruined by an expression of love...
    Oh well, my answer is no, 'cause my girlfriend now wasn't my best friend then; was a standard friend.
     
    I don't like the term "best friend" anymore.

    When I still believed in it, I did have a huge crush on a best friend. I was only eleven, though. On Valentine's Day one year, he told me how he felt... but I never told him I felt the same way. I was too afraid and too young. After that, he started treating me like crap, telling my secrets, and sexually harassing me. =\ I'm glad I don't have to see him anymore.

    Now... I do have a crush on a friend. He doesn't know, but I know he doesn't feel the same way by things he says, so I try not to let it get to me much.
