6th Gen Gamblin' all my money away in Mauville City...

I hope they put something besides Voltorb Flip there. I never really got the hang of it so I wasn't able to win anything ever haha. I doubt that they will bring back the old version of Game Corner, so I hope they put something else in there. :)
 
I learned that there's a castle in the place Mauville is based on. Maybe they could replace the casino with it. In that place they could have role playing like we play King or Queen for some time. Or add in the nobility thing from XY, except it'll use titles used in Japan...maybe those used by the Samurai...
 
Part of me thinks they should just include the game corner...but what "games" are inside depend on the 3DS' region.

But if that's too technical, why not just have the game pull up Pokemon Pinball R/S? Your score=coinage.
 
I actually really liked RSE's Game Corner, but only for the roulette. I found it pretty fun and addicting, though I never cared too much for the slots. As much as I'd love for the Game Corner to return, especially the options to buy coins if they're going to keep the TMs for Flamethrower and friends as prizes, I think they have truly done away with the Game Corners in Pokemon. We got Voltorb Flip in HGSS which some people love and some hate. I'm in the hate group, especially since you can't buy coins. In the two generations that followed, we didn't have anything close to a Game Corner. I feel like something will be in there because I don't think they're just going to forgo it and act like it never existed, but it sure won't be slots. I just hope to GOD it's not Voltorb Flip ANYTHING but that horrible game.

I'm hoping they find a way to keep the Roulette as it was also my favorite out of the two (I wish that Pt had a Roulette...why was it only a Hoenn thing?). Maybe they could redesign it so that it won't look like a casino wheel. Maybe something like spin the wheel kind of gimmick.
 
The roulette game was what made me enjoy the Game Corner in RSE. I think I played that more more than the slots. It'd be a major bummer if there was no game corner in the remakes, but it also wouldn't surprise me either if there was no game corner, simply because there hasn't been one in the past few releases since Black and White.

It'll be awesome honestly. Maybe they'll even add in a guess what that Pokemon/ thing is by having us guess letters. I recalled that the mail had several combinations by combining different words, they could do something like that.

Speaking of feuds could they make it multi-player? Hopefully by both local and online (using friend codes). It'll be fun to play against other people :3
Ahh I'm so hyped for this too...hope I can bring it back down or it becomes real...

That would actually be pretty cool, have a pinball as a game corner. I love pinballs :D

These... would actually be pretty good ideas. I wouldn't mind if something similar was added. I doubt the casino would be back, although I would love to blow off all my coins again, in 3d. Pokeathalons reappearing would be really cool too. I hope they don't go all pokestar studios again... there were some good points to it, but I'd rather it stay in B/W2.
 
I would love it if they made the prizes more like FireRed and LeafGreen's,where you could get hard to find Pokemon for coins. The rest could stay the same,as I used to love Mauville's "game corner".
 
I never got into the Game Corner in the original games, to be honest. If they add anything like some of the ideas people have been posting about, though, then I'll definitely give it a chance. Game Freak should take notes! Especially pinball, that sounds like a lot of fun n__n
 
I can understand why they dropped the Game Corners in newer games, but I would really like to see Hoenn's return, if for the sole reason of its music returning. I'm probably the sole Earth citizen who loved Voltorb Flip (slots are completely up to chance, so I loved being able to win coins consistently with logic) so personally I would be very happy if a similar mini-game returned for ORAS (or even two, since there were both slots and the roulette wheel in the original). But a less logic-based mini-game and a more "game" based mini-game like some of the suggestions here would be welcomed, too! Perhaps Pokémon Bejeweled?

I would rather have competitions than Pokeathlons, but I spent hours excercising with my Pokemon with that feature... I didn't want to continue battling gym leaders at the time and just wanted to be a competitive Pokeathlete (keep in mind I was only at Whitney(the most annoying gym ever) so I wanted to quit battling forever after battling her). I do like competitions better though, my Castform really shines in it.

Yeah I agree, one of the major gripes I found with the Game Corner in HG/SS was definitely the ability not to buy coins. I don't know if that had anything to do with Europe's legislation against gambling but it does get annoying when you're literally forced to play the annoyance of Voltorb Flip just to get coins and trust me, not everyone is good at that game given it's like Minesweeper.

But still, I have a feeling the Game Corner will probably get replaced due to the legislation causing the removal of the facility altogether after 4th Gen so hence Unova and Kalos didn't get any Game Corners. They could still retain the old Game Corner but maybe change the games to stuff that isn't based on casino games.
