    Do you think maybe the Game Corner could make a comeback? Obviously the slots aren't coming back, but do you think maybe Voltorb Flip could make a return? Or a new game(s)? What kind of non-gambling games could you see in a new Game Corner?

    I personally think that the idea of an arcade seems nice, with little mini-games on the machines inside, maybe even a Voltorb Flip (not that I'd play it!) machine. And you could get tokens or tickets from winning and be able to buy nice prizes. And hopefully we'll have the ability to buy said tokens again (if there's no ticket system), which we didn't get the luxury of buying coins in HGSS. But yeah. I felt Voltorb Flip was difficult and if there are a bunch of small non-gambling mini-games to choose from in the arcade/game corner, it'd appeal to more people than VF did.

    Maybe Last Card Lol
    Pokemon Last Card

    Voltorb = Pick Up 2
    Electrode = Pick Up 5
    Pikachu = Change Suit
    Jigglypuff = Miss a Turn
    Alakazam = Reverse

    Even though I'd prefer a Game Corner because GAMBLING, you'd probably have people complaining about it influencing kids to gamble or whatever (though I personally think that's a silly idea because, you know, it's a game and it's common sense that it's easier to get money in it than irl, but meh), so an Arcade where you don't pay to play but still win money/tickets would be something I'd love to see! As for games, maybe, in addition to something similar to Voltorb Flip, they could have Pinball? I loved playing the separate Pinball games, so it'd be awesome if it made a return. And then the number of points you score would depend on how much money/tickets you win.

    Or, if we're gonna love Voltorb so much, Voltorb Skee Ball! :D Even a cute memory game like in SMB3 would be cool imo.

    I would love to see some Pokémon related arcade games in the Game Corner, that surely would make things alot nicer and you'd be able to gain more coins from completing levels and many more.

    What about some arcade games like Darmanitan's Crash Course (I know I took the idea from Nintendo Land xD).

    Damn it Sydian, stop readin' my mind. xD But yeah, it sounds cool, maybe other pokemon games like that, maybe drop ball, like where the ball drops and the hole it lands in is the number of coins you get? and other arcade games I'm addicted to, the one with the lights spinning and you have to click the button when it hits the Jackpot! Light xD

    It'd be nice to see a cameo from a Stadium mini-game as an arcade game as well. Like the Chansey egg catching game. ...Because that's a totally cool game for an arcade, I know.

    I dunno, there's really no point in Game Corners anymore now that TMs are unlimited use. We also have battle facilities to buy rare items at.

    There could be some TMs sold exclusively at the Game Corner. And we don't know if we'll have battle facilities or not. And even if getting items from there isn't possible, the inclusion of a Game Corner would still be nice. Obviously not everyone would want it back, but there are still a lot of people that enjoyed it and would like to see it come back in some form or fashion.

    Agreeing on the TM thing. Regarding rare items, maybe it could have (decent) items exclusive to it? c: Though heck, even if it were just there as a pastime (in other words, you could only play and score points; you wouldn't win anything) I'd still be happy since I enjoy that kind of thing XD;

    The Game Corner was removed because the EU put up regulations about gambling. Apparently that happened before platinum was released.

    If anything, I think with the 3DS, they should have it somewhat integrated with the parental controls function of the 3DS, and there also being an internal byte or something only accessable by the programmers to turn it off permanantly. So if you live in Japan or the US (or possibly Australia, I'll need to look that one up), it'll be turned on according to the parental control settings on your 3DS. If you live in Europe (and didn't import from the US or Japan *coughSwitzerlandshoulddothiscough*), then it would be turned off permanantly.

    As for actual "games" in there? I do wish for the slots to return, but unless something changes (or has changed) in the localization order (or whatever they're doing now), I doubt it'll happen unless the EU adjusts the laws (or disbands). Though a good alternative would be stuff like putting Donkey Kong or Space Invaders in little arcade machines and it spits out tickets at the end.

    If they don't want to use slots anymore, then I like Sydian's idea of the minigames like in Stadium. It could be done a lot easier on the 3DS as well. If there are things to buy with coins, I hope they let you buy coins this time.

    I'd really love to see a return of a legitimate gambling element simply because it was part of the original Pokemon and not having it anymore seems, well, sad. Granted, I was the kid who saved his money so he could exchange it for coins instead of actually using the slots because luck is meh.

    However, an Arcade Corner would be nice. Hey, we may even see a return of Secret Bases or something similar, so why not make the prizes decorations for your home?

    I actually like the idea of having an arcade-like place, where you could buy tokens and earn tickets from mini-games (which could then go towards items). There could also be different NPCs that ask you to do a small task or trade to get tickets, so you wouldn't have to play the mini-games if you didn't like them.

    That being said, I didn't miss the Game Corner at all in the 5th gen, so I won't be upset if it doesn't re-appear in X/Y, either.

    I'd be fine if they had an arcade where items or TMs could be obtained. However, I don't want a game that is heavily based on luck unless I had other games to choose from.

    Anyway if they do include an arcade I hope we get to play some Pool there, we do have a touch screen after all.

    I definitely don't want to see the Game Corner return, not just because of the European anti-gambling regulations but it's cos we now have unlimited TMs and to be honest I didn't like how most Game Corner games were purely luck-based, which is something I'm never good at.

    I actually enjoyed 5th Gen lacking a Game Corner, given I hated the Game Corner a lot.

    I wouldn't mind some kind of arcade or Game Corner like thing. Maybe not gambling type games, but some game where you can earn coins/tickets like a Chuck E Cheese's or Dave and Busters type thing and then you can exchange them for prizes. The touch could really be in used with this. Such as a skee ball like game where you use the stylus to roll the ball in.
