4th Gen GameStop Deoxys

I nee done of of these.. or two.... or thre... lol..
 
Yeah, I think that it will be the one jman617 predicted becaused judging on American events and how they seem to have a japanese counterpart (TRU Manaphy/Palcity Manaphy, ALAMOS Darkrai/Movie Darkrai), this would be somewhat logical.

If you'll be in New York, then they'll probably have another Deoxys... (they usually do have follow-up events the month after an event. (so far, they have)
 
Look's like they are making the event Pokemon avaliable once again, I'll be sure to obtain it.
 
A call to the local GameStop tells us that they have not received word for the Deoxys event yet, AND that these kind of events would be normally held at the Nintendo World at New York or Toys'R'Us.

This is quite unbelievable. Having another event so shortly after a big one.
 
Well, the Pokemon company wouldn't want to lose any of it's loyal fans over something stupid, like a second event, now would they?

Plus, this would also give some more hype for Pokemon Platuim.
 
I alrdy have a deoxys but i could always use one with a classic ribbon and with a cherish ball. Plus the OT would make it special as well. I Live in florida and i hate being here since i wasn't born here but atleast ima get a free deoxys XD.

Completely agreed. That the store still has no idea about it says even more to the event being fake.
 
I called my local Toys R Us about the Darkrai event 2 weeks before the event and they had no clue about it. But they did end up having the event anyway. Toys R Us.com also didn't post anything about the Darkrai event until 1 week before the actual event. So i'm not gonna call if fake quite yet.

But the official Pokemon websites still had information on it, did they not?

That is true, but Pokemon.com is focusing more on Nintendo World Darkrai right now. In my opinion, if they suddenly replaced Darkrai with a new Deoxys event, wouldn't it seem like Darkrai was insignificant. The goal of events is for people to purchase their products while at the event. So if they posted about Deoxys now before the Darkrai event is officially over, then attention would be taken away from Darkrai and people would begin to focus on Deoxys. The Nintendo World Darkrai event ends after the 1st half of June or June 15th. So they would probably post about it after the event is finished. Serebii also commented that the event is real. But i'm not gonna take Serebii's word for it.

But there are somethings that are questionable. Why is there only 1 image of the event. If other employees of GameStop claim the event is real, why don't they post new pictures? The sudden announcement of the event is also suspicious. If no new information is given out in the next week or the creator says its fake, then i'll accept it as fake.
 
I called my gamestop today. They CONFIRMED the event is real. I am going to try and stop by there tonight and gather any information i can to post to prove it is real, but my gamestop store said YES, it is real, gave me the dates and everything.

Will post more when i have more info.

My GameStop just confirmed it too. YESSS!!! The only info they gave me was that it the first week was the 20th - 22nd and the second was 27th - 29th. So I don't know what to tell you if you're GameStop doesn't know about it.

I don't know, really, and it's pretty lame. How are we supposed to obtain these pokemon otherwise? AR? Oh yeah though, that's cheating, it's morally wrong. Plus my game would be 'marked' (supposing an official event makes it's way to Canada).

Well, I suppose that makes this a definite, real event. Huh...

June as "Pokemon Month," anyone? I predict that we hear of Batonnage's overseas release date by the end of the month.
 
I just read about this over Bulbapedia. :D Seeing as I'm a huge GameStop customer, I can't wait to go and get Deoxys, and first event for me as well. :D I'm not sure about all the details as I just read about it, but looking forward to it, and interested who in my community plays Pocket Monsters too. :D I believe it's a true blue Deoxys event too, not just some fake. I'll have to go over there tonight and see what's up. Another thing I'm wondering, is the moveset and held item. So, seems we have some interesting weeks ahead of us. ;)

Today is a happy day for me. :'D (Favorite pokemon + local store = MAJOR <3)

I wonder what the special moves will be... hm...
