GBA Sp --- Is it worth it?

It depends on if you want the backlight. I myself have stayed with my GBA and not gotten a SP.

Also since this is game related this should actually be in Other Games.
 
Well if you like a light when your playing then the SP will be good (I had a GBA and still got a SP).

yes get a GBA SP i highly recommened it cause the light has no glare! and you the darker your surroundings the better it is to see the game! and its more compact! so i think you should get it!
 
I would recommend getting it too, if you think of the nice compact feature and backlighting, plus a rechargable battery (if you spent money on accessoires for gba), I say its well worth it.
 
Oh just to let you know it is a front lit screen, if it was a backlit then it would be like a TV where in the sun you cant see what your doing (ever watched a dark movie in the day time, if you did and the sun was out then you cant see what is going on).
 
I remember when I had a 100 dollars to spend (my b-day) and my dad suggested I get the SP. I was thinking of getting a few games (although there wasn't a lot I wanted) but my dad convinced me. He said it would "bring life back to some of your games". So I bought it, and he was most certainly right. I started playing all my old gba games on it and they actually became quite interesting again. It was definitely worth it, especially now since christmas has passed and I have a lot of new gba games.
 
Yeah, an SP is good to good, and yes y'all are right it isn't a back light there is like a floresant light on the buttom and to shines up. During the day it can be a little hard to see, and there is no need for the light, but if you play in complete darkness and have the light on there is no interference, and looks excelent. Its good to play in your bed when your parents think you are sleeping, even though it practally lights up the whole room.
 
Is it worth the money? In my opinion, yes. Yes it is. If you can get past its almost too compactfulness (is that even a word? lol) design and lack of output jacks I think it is the perfect portable game console. Some of its best features that eventually got me to buy this little devil is its rechargable battery, increadibly small size/weight, and backlit display (actually the light shines more from the bottom.) Plus the fact nintendo made it to look more like a flip-phone you won't have to worry about the screen taking a beating (in most cases.)

All in all, I highly recommend it especially if you got the dough for it.
 
Yes you should Get the SP its a very good machine. Better than its Predecessor, The SP Has three new features. Battery Charging, The BackLight Feature and the Small Sleek Feature. This is definetly worth it :).
