I found the first episode great. Out of all of the new Summer animes so far, Nozaki-kun was the only one that made me have a legitimately fun time watching it. Yeah, it's just a comedy series. But the character interactions has just been absolutely golden for me. A deadpan and seemingly emotionless mangaka with a lovestruck girl who can't express her emotions correctly? Fantastic.

The whole bike debacle had me giggling throughout the whole episode for some reason, haha.

Nozaki-kun is definitely the funniest series of this season that I've watched thus far, and one of my favorites. It's just plain funny and cute, and that's great.

Episode 2 has only just cemented my love for this series now. Even though this series seems like it will be pulling out some predictable tropes for the characters, the character interactions is still golden. Also, Yuzuki is a pretty lovable in my opinion, haha. Anyone else find it weird that Nozaki seems to be switching between a straight man and funny man? I mean, I don't particularly find it displeasing, just odd.

Anyways, I think I'll stick with the anime til the end, then jump into the manga.

I'm willing to give it a go since some of these sorts of series have actually turned out to be brilliant but I have to be honest I don't hold high hopes. You guys seem to like it though so I'll take it as a good recommendation.

And now our ensemble cast is now united as of Episode 6. Really been enjoying the ride so far. Waka is probably one of my favourite characters right now, even though we only had one episode of him. The whole showdown with him and Yuzuki had me laughing throughout most of the scene, Nozaki's reactions really added to it as well.

    Maeno for most dastardly villain.

Oh, I'm liking how characters seem to be in pairs. Nozaki and Sakura, Hori and Kashima, Ken and Maeno, Miyako and Tanuki, Waka and Yuzuki, and then there is the lonely Mikoshiba.

I'd say that Mikorin is the single greatest thing about this series, but if I'm being honest, this series is the single greatest thing about this series. -w- I'm super glad I picked it up, especially since I thought I was going into some corny, typical, shoujo romance, and I was wrong.

It's gotten so much better in the more recent episodes. I thought Sakura was really annoying the first couple eps, but she's gotten a lot better and I like this series a lot. :] I kind of wish that they would drop the romance subplot since I don't really think it's that' funny and I don't really like it a lot, but I realize that's not happening since that's the whole point of the series haha. I just don't really see any progression, so if there's no conclusion in the romance between the two I don't really see a point in its existence in the first place other than a way for Sakura to get a job from Nozaki.

Yeeeeeah, my only, pretty tiny complaint, is that the romance isn't developing at all. xD; Nozaki is still clueless. .w.

I find that the episodes are getting very tedious and unpleasant to watch, most of them now just seem to be the same and I hope for some sort of interesting development soon.

The main girl character's been getting a lot of attention from FB anime groups. She's being called the best girl of the season. Got me interested. Will download the show and find out. :D I really like her design, though!

She's had a fantastic reception over in Japan as well. Pixiv is really showing a lot of love for Chiyo, I'm always seeing new fan art for her every day.

Gosh, yes! My friends offline that watch it also really like Chiyo. So do I, which is rare, because I usually dislike the main females, but she's not at all boring to me. xD She balances out well with Nozaki, and.. everyone else for that matter, haha.

I'm still annoyed at the lack of anything really wow happening, it all just seems dull and predictable still. Might aswell stick it out to the end but not going to enjoy doing so.

^ there are series that are intentionally like that. Take Gintama, for instance. Better not to expect there to be an over-arching plot or some massive developments in shows like these which are mostly comedy-oriented episodic stuff. If you do, you'll only end up sorely disappointed.
