Catching Legendaries is such a pain, such a pain it makes you wanna RAGE!

Come on Landorus, you have one hit point left and you're paralyzed but GET IN THE BALL ALREADY!

That has got me thinking, do you think Legendaries have such insane catch rates? Or maybe you managed to catch one in a regular Poke Ball? Share your experiences in the comments.

The way I see it, when it comes to catching legendary Pokémon, your generic Pokéball just isn't going to cut it. These times, you've gotta break out the special balls, more specifically, those Timer Balls, Dusk Balls, & the Quick Balls for those runners out there.

With low health & status conditions, I average around 10-20 balls per legendary captured, using those aforementioned balls.

Mespirit took me 75 Ultra Balls catching on my first play. Lets not forget it's a roaming Pokemon and the second you think you have it on it's tracks, it gets away.

    Definitely my hardest catch.

    Not really.

I've caught Kyurem, Zekrom, Cresselia, Terrakion, Virizion and Cobalion all in a pokeball in B2. It's not that hard really. I remember catch Cresselia in a Pokeball and it had health within the green zone. I'd post pictures but I cba. :P

I just saw the blog homepage and this came up as a randomly selected entry.

    ERMAGHERD I'M FAMOUS!

But yeah, I almost always caught my version's box Legendary in a Master Ball. It's something that's happened to me ever since I was playing Ruby.

That's me with some legendaries ^^. (glares silently across the room at Latias.) But I have to admit,I've caught a few legendaries with Pokeballs with some luck.

Generally I try and use Quick Balls at the start, attack the enemy crazily and then hope it gets caught.

Legendaries have never been a problem for me except Mew*******two.
But what i do is alternate between different pokeballs like after using an ultra ball use a great ball then a pokeball and repeat until caught.Either that or i'm just lucky. :\
