    Lame titles aside, do you think the Trainer PR Videos will make a return in ORAS?

    If you're unsure what that is, it is a new feature in X&Y that allows you to record a 10 second video from multiple angles of your trainer - allowing you to pose, change the background, change your expression, and do all sorts of different effects. You could even record your Pokemon in nearly the same manner, aside from poses! You can also choose to share this video with your friends on your PSS.

    Do you think they'll expand on this feature? Give us more options and things to do, allow some Pokemon to pose too maybe?

    Would you use this feature if it returned in ORAS? Bigger yet, what do you think of this feature?

    Why or why not will it return?
     
    Stuff like this (PokeStar Studios, for example) seems to be isolated to the game's region in which it was introduced so I doubt it.
     
    I'm with Ante on this one; it seems like something that would be found only in Kalos, similar to PokeStar Studios & Musicals in Unova. Given, DPPt had contests, but the only things that made them similar to RSE's were the contest types and the third round being similar to RSE's second round. Besides, the past remakes added features that weren't present in the originals or in any past versions (such as minigames in FRLG and the Pokeathlon in HGSS), so if they were to add any entertaining feature not present in RSE, they'd likely go for something new.
     
    I'm pretty sure they will since PR Videos are apparently a thing in the PSS of XY. I am not saying PSS will or will not return in ORAS but what if you wantd to see the PR Video of one in XY and you are in ORAS?
     
    Every region has had features that stay specific to it, and I think this is one of them, not to return in ORAS. I didn't use it that often, so I'm not really fond of the feature per say, but if it does make an appearance, I'll certainly try it out. Maybe instead of bringing PR Videos to Hoenn, they make something new for Hoenn. :]
     
    I'm of the opinion that's region exclusive, and we'll get something new for ORAS, which is almost preferable. It's neat to see the little extra features change up in the games. c:

    But 10 seconds? I can't get anything done with that time frame.
    Actually, probably because I want to make a movie through PR videos.

    PR videos are interesting, but it's a feature exclusive to Kalos. I bet they'll at least make PR videos from XY watchable in ORAS, or they won't insert it to ORAS at all.

    I feel like that might be a giant waste of the clear amount of animation effort they put in PR videos, though. Like to me the whole thing seems like it wasn't that easy to program in there, much like a few other version exclusive features. (Follow feature, etc.) I never understood why they go through such effort, only to throw it aside in the next game. These things obviously took time and effort to program and create, so why make it vanish so fast?

    I'm honestly tired of the 'make a feature ditch a feature' theme GF keeps doing. And they do it for many features at once, even the really good ones! Like why not just keep some of the greater features and just expand ontop of it in the next game(s)? I mean I get the logical reasons.. Gimmicks, money ploys, space issues, but... It's just sort of irritating, you know?
     
    I only made a PR video once, to increase my stylish-ness (?) so I could enter the Boutique :)

    Same here. PR videos literally seemed to serve no purpose :( It really seems like they were just made to be thrown in there so Lumiose could have even more attractions.

    I was also gonna mention the fact that it's a PSS feature. It would be easy enough for them not to include them, but I actually liked them and thought it was a fun, silly way to do a bit more in games that otherwise didn't have a whole lot of extra stuff to do in them.

    Perhaps if Contests return, but they're all in Lilycove like in Emerald, maybe one of the Contest Halls could be replaced with the PR Recording Studio? Or if the Contest Halls are spread out like in RS, the PR Recording Studio could be a part of Lilycove's Contest Hall?
     
    I think that it can be a good point for the games, but I know that this is not really important, so I don't have a problem if it appear or not in ORAS.
