I think what he was saying was there are 2 possible natures for these pokemon, so of course if they have natural cure it would be alright, but if they didn't, and you inflicted the status condition on another pokemon, it would be breaking the clause. Am I right?

Which is another grey area, XD.
If I do what Name suggested, it shouldn't count as breaking the rule. For instance, I could just be stalling time. I've done this before when trying to avoid Destiny Bond, to name one example.

But more than likely only a total noob would have a Serene Grace Blissey, unless they were running Bolt Beam, which still doesn't make it the best choice. So if you hit a noob with two hypnosis', they probably wouldn't think twice.

Yeah, so I highly doubt that we'll be needing to worry about that little detail too much, however if it becomes a problem, Archer should have something worked out. Do you have something worked out Archer, it's what being a tournament coordinator is all about you know......

I'm probably the only one against status clause, except sleep clause of course. This is stupid, why are there moves available like heal bell? It's there to use if most of your pokemon are paralysis or burned. It's about predicting your opponent carefully at the right time. There are pokemon who have electric immunity eg Garchomp, Electivire etc… who can switch into thunderwave safely.
There are pokemon to counter will-o-wisp, like Heatran and other fire types etc..
It's like a free switch in for them so you basically waiting for another thunderwave/will-o-wisp if blissey/weezing and co keep constantly using thunderwave/will-o-wisp, it becomes fairly obvious and just switch to a pokemon with an immunity to that status infliction. Why do you think there was a guts Heracross in the first place?

If you use that move on them, but they switch out before you use it, that is not breaking the rules. You may also use a move that has a chance of Inflicting a status effect that is already inflicted only if it has a chance of 30% or less.(Serene Grace users may only use 10% or less)

No, in the first round I will pair users with others in their timezone. Inside timezones, they will be random.
EDIT: TWO spots are left. If you plan to join, then hurry up. Also, i sent PMs to those who didnt complete all of the details, will you please reply. I you didnt give a timezone, you may be given a bad matchup and if you haven't given me your FC, then you will not be able to participate in the tournament.
