4th Gen Ghost in the Old Chateau

Whats with the Ghosts in the Old Chateau in platinum? Are they there to just scare you? Because I been hearing you can battle the little girl if you wait.But if you know why the Ghost are there can you tell me please.

its rotom you go into the room with the tv between the hours of 8pm-4am and click on the tv and it starts the battle against it i think theyre like pokemon that look after it trying to scare people out of the mansion

dude it aint ghost,. its Rotom the Plasma Pokemon. Go in it at night and touch the TV it will come for yooooooouu

It isn't just Pokemon, there are disappearing people in there too. Probably something to do with the place being allegedly haunted. e_e I don't think you can battle the little girl, I don't think you can even get face to face with her. But I'm pretty sure they're just there to give the Old Chateau an eerie feeling, since it's supposed to be an eerie place.

I've seen ghosts in there in Diamond. I saw an old man in the large dining room, and a little girl in one of the smaller ones. I don't think they have anything to do with Rotom. They're just there for show.

Yeah they're just there to be there. They don't really add anything directly to the game, but they are just one of those tiny details that make the games more fun to play.
