Thanks for starting this topic, I decided to replay through TLA again haha I LOVE THAT GAME SO MUCH!

I've only played the first game, but I did enjoy it. The music, and graphics/battle animations are what I remember standing out. I see they decided to go the 3D, which I guess is no surprise. I would loved it if they had kept the 2d graphics/sprites. Either way, I'll be anxiously awaiting this title. Maybe in the meantime I can find time to play the second.

xD i love how they're stuck on that tiny dingy, and not the awesome Lemurian ship haha. and the random giant dragon attack

Well I don't think their supposed to be actual characters, though that guy does look like the scholar(forgot almost everyones name XD) but yeah the one summoning doesn't have crazy hair, so not an adept, which leads me to believe it's just a random joke.
 
You're thinking of Kraden.

And yeah, transferring would be cool, if only to unlock an item. Like, test to see if the game has clear data, and transfer that to get an item earlier than normal (like the Libra clan ability in FFTA2). I don't think party transferring will work; after all, I think Isaac and Garet only join the party for a short time early on, like Jenna in GS1.

I was thinking Kalen but didn't want to seem foolish, haha I was close!
I don't think there will be interaction, that promotes DS/DS Lite, if anything there will be camera features. Unfortunately I'm an original DS user :(
 
Yeah nothing that's super amazing.
Maybe like a useless key item, or some bonus cash-- maybe access to a random mini game or something even.

You're meant to have a character cast Resist or Magic Shell each turn so when you max resistance the Doom Dragon only hits like 50 on you. Also give your characters critical plus equips so you unleash nearly every turn(I got Isaac's unleash rate to 97%).


Edit: You should actually try to avoid summons during late game because if you don't finish the enemy off with summon rush then you're wide open to the enemy since you have no Djinni set making your stats horrible and easy to kill in a turn. Especially for Star Magician and Doom Dragon as they don't have exactly the highest hp and the summon damage is based on the hp of the enemy.
