Any avid Pokemon fan will have a good time here because.. well, there's a ton to do and discuss so you'll find a lot of discussions to dive into and certainly meet many amazing people. What do you love most about Pokemon? Personally I adore the collecting aspect and training my favorite, cutest team members to high levels. Pokemon is addicting and can easily hold me for hundreds of hours. Wouldn't have it any other way!
Glad to see you're already involving yourself with the discussions here. PC has a lot of boards to try out so if you're ever lost and needing some suggestions don't be scared to give us a shout. You can join some clubs over at Pokemon Clubs or Fan Clubs & Groups, discuss any generation, talk about anime, music, or movies, and so on.

Aye, pokemon fans definitely unite in this board, and it's definitely amazing to be active in, so, I hope you'll be able to stay with us for a long time! I really like how Pokemon allows you to get together with your pals, or with people you haven't met, and you could trade and battle with them, to become friends! It's really amazing. :3 You can try out the pokemon boards here like Pokemon General, or Pokemon Gaming Central for anything pokemon related!

Pokemon is definitely a fandom to be a part of, I've been in the fandom since 1999 when I was only starting to hear about the franchise, didn't end up playing the games until 2003 when 3rd Gen was only in its beginning stages, and now I've currently played four out of the current six generations. The others have shown you around some parts of the forum you might be interested in, but do contribute to the wide range of topics here when you can.
Anyways, I'm sure you can make some friends and I'd be happy to accept anyone so yeah don't hesitate to ask if you need a bit of help, and the staff (like Aura and Sheep there) are on hand if you have a question. Have fun and I'll be catching ya around the forums!

Haha, all of your posts make my introduction seem really small.
I personally like the creativity you yourself can implement into the game. You get to create your own team from a huge variety, but not only that you can give your own personalities and names to these creatures. There are so many, and each has its own uniqueness. The games also allow you to immerse yourself into their world, opening the imagination for a lot of things.
And of course, cooing at cute Pokemon is also a bonus. xD
And yes, Latias is my favorite Pokemon (for now, anyway, my favorites change every few weeks.)
