how long is the event?

judging by the number of event suggestions I would like to do 10 days (sep 20 to 30) minimum. I think a week was a good baseline to start with but it may not be enough for all the stuff.

Why not 15 days to match the 15th anniversary of PC?

I'm happy with 15, it's cute to match the anniversary number and it's a pretty good length for all the events imo.

Dates sound good to me. 15 is a strong number that gives enough time as well as will give the average user an easy way to remember how long the event will actually run.

Let's talk dates now. 12:00 AM 16th of September to 11:59 PM 30th of September sound good?

i'm not sure if saturday is the best day to start/end - is it possible to check what day of the week is our busiest overall and go with that as the start day?

I think starting on a Thursday or a Friday would probably be best.
