This is a Gundam RP, presented to you by Allelujah Haptism and Soma Peries. Yeah, from our names, hopefully you can tell that this is based on 00!

We'd greatly appreciate some prior Gundam 00 knowledge, but if you wish to join and have absolutely no experience with Gundam, well, you have Wikipedia and three very knowledgeable resources at hand. And it's a very good series, so starting now is better than never!

Plot written by both Soma Peries and Allelujah Haptism

    Story

Nearly 150 years after the appearance of Gundam Exia at AEU Enact's unveiling, the world is at peace, and the eradication of war has been accomplished. The A-Laws has been disbanded, and economic, political, and military stability are all taken for granted by the younger generations. A level of prosperity can be found in all the remaining countries, and while there are still select countries that have refused entry to the Federation, they still share an amiable slice of happiness. Military development has been halted, the improvement and invention of new weapons or mobile suits unlawful and strongly persecuted against. Aheads lay in hangers collecting dust, while colonies expand further and further into space. On the shallow surface, mankind has seemingly come to terms with each other, accepting everyone and anyone for their differences and similarities, no matter what the case may be. Regardless of the misleading appearances however, under the blanket of goodness hides high tensions that are resulting from internal corruptions; personal agenda's to be fulfilled. Humans naturally grow weary of peace, and the inevitable has been postponed for far longer than anyone could have ever projected.

The turmoil is known only to the highest government authority; and an organization that now exists in secret, fully prepared to stop another outbreak of war. Celestial Being has not been totally idle during peace. Perhaps it's contradicting that they, who wished to end war, were proceeding with weaponry research, updating, upgrading, changing. But they too, grew tired in wait. In a different way than the rest of the world, the "last generation" of Celestial Being disbanded not but twenty years ago, feeling that sitting in wait for something to intervene in was unnecessary, as the peace seemed at the time, never-ending. Times change however, and Celestial Being must once again step into the limelight and intervene in the upcoming war.

The troubles began with the UD incident, in which an underground reservoir of uranium – a long thought diminished resource - was located in the aftermath of a suicide bombing in New Mexico, United States. Along with the uranium was found a lab that included blueprints for nuclear powered mobile suits and weaponry such as bombs. In secret, the Earth Sphere Federation began to experiment with this new substance on its weaponry in secret in case 'a need ever arose to use it'. By doing this, they were ignoring the fact that nuclear energy was a dangerous substance indeed, and was extremely accident prone. Ultimately, many lives were lost to this risky weapons development, and most within the EUF military began to question the continuation of the project. Over the months to come, the two sides, those for and those against began to become more ferocious in nature, and eventually conflict began to arise over which side would be victorious. The ESF crumbled, breaking off into the three factions that it came to be composed of over 150 years beforehand. The Union was pro-nuclear, while the AEU was anti-nuclear. The Human Reform League took a neutral stance of sorts, denoting the weapons development, but testing on their own in secret. In the end, it seemed war was inevitable. And with that, Celestial Being reawakened…

    Notes

Why do we have so many god dang sign-ups? Well, for the fact that there are very few roleplaying 00 fans on PC and roleplaying Gundam and meeting the minimum paragraph rule is difficult, we've decided that it's perfectly okay to have multiple characters. However, one Gundam pilot to each, please. Feel free to take a number of Secondary characters, or Antagonists. Please do not sign-up for more characters than you can handle.

I will add Antagonists to the list of Characters as they're signed up for.

    And sign-ups are CLOSED.

  • May I reserve a Cannon type Gundam? In addition, do I have to choose a preexisting Gundam model?

    Character Name: Sara Stiyl
    Character's Codename: Alitaria Sigma
    Character Age: 18
Character's Country of Origin/Power Block: None

    Character Appearance:
Standing at an average height of 5'8", Alitaria is thin, while at the same time keeping herself in a good enough physical condition to remain a Meister - in case a mission came in which she wouldn't have access to Celestia the entire time. Her hair, straight and chestnut in colour - like her eyes, falls down to just above her behind. A pale pink flower ornament is placed on the right side of her head, a memento left behind from her mother. On her torso, she wears a tube-top micro-dress designed by herself on her own time. It is coloured uniquely so that it acts like a gradient, going from raspberry-purple to lavender-blue from top to bottom. Accompanying the main portion of her upper body appearance is a pair of arm warmers, which follow the same colour scheme. She also has a loose, thin, red tie wrapped around her neck. The micro-dress overlaps her pair of black skinny jeans, which hug her legs tightly. On her feet, she wears a pair of black open-toed wedges. Upper body. Lower body (thanks to the mad sketching skills of Bell).

    Character's Suit Colors/Customizations:
Alitaria wears the standard Celestial Being pilot suit, although the colours are light blue and white.

    Character Personality:
Alitaria is the type of person you would least expect to be piloting a giant robot for a "terrorist" organization. She is a quiet person, which is the result of the way in which she was raised, but when she speaks, her words are gentle and kind, provided she isn't taking a secret jab at someone in the process. Having been outspoken her whole life by her parents who made all of the decisions, she dislikes leaving opinions on important matters, often standing by and going with the flow when things change. If she knows she's done something wrong, she will apologize without relent towards whomever she's hurt, provided they aren't on her bad list. For those unfortunate enough to be on her bad side, a cold shoulder from the depths of hell – on top of her already quiet personality – awaits you until you apologize properly for whatever it is you did, as proper manners are everything to her. Alitaria does NOT like to fight under any circumstance. If she is in control during a mission, she will take the time to go out of her way and leave the opponent inhibited in such a way that they can't find back without taking their lives. On the other hand, her distaste of death provides extra motivation for Celestial Being's causes, but it just doesn't make her a good fighter. To resolve this issue, aware of her passive personality, Alitaria began to commission the creation – in secret – of a serum by members of the HRL. She had heard once from her parents that a serum called ST98708R, otherwise known as "rage" had been created. Once placed into the subjects bloodstream, it gave them a rush and in most cases, made them completely hostile. The initial tests succeeded, the serum working for only half an hour a dose, but in most cases it was enough provided she brought extra. This allowed her to hold her own while piloting, by destroying her will to save and replacing it with a will to kill the enemy. To other meisters of Celestial Being, who have no idea why she gets like she does, who have no idea she's drugging herself, the impulsive actions that she makes during battle are left unexplained, despite the fact that they almost always get her into trouble.

    Character History:
Sara was born on an island just South of Mexico. Since her parents were weapons inspectors for the Earth Sphere Federation, she was forced to travel around to various bases with his parents even when she was small. She had no permanent home, and because of that she had no real chances to make friends, which placed a heavy chunk of reliance onto her parents. When she turned ten, she stayed with her Aunt and Uncle in Los Angeles for two years. At the time, the city was suffering from constant terrorist attacks, so she fell witness to things like murder and rape, enforcing a dark opinion of the world upon her. Despite this, she learned the value of friendship amidst this stay, but only when a classmate shielded her from a bullet - though this is a memory the girl has long forced herself to forget. At age twelve she began to travel with her parents again, and continued to for the next six years. With the discovery of nuclear energy, the workload of Sara's parents eventually doubled, and she was left all alone for a majority of the time. During the testing of a new nuclear powered mobile suit, an incident occurred which killed the pilot and twenty test witnesses. Luckily, Sara's parents survived the ordeal, but the darker part of the ESF, who wanted the tests to remain a secret, took the initiative to hire a mercenary to kill any surviving witnesses. The mercenary attacked her home one night, and her parents ended up dead after shielding her with their body from an energy rifle attack. She didn't, however, leave the conflict unscathed. Her right arm had been severed, and her right eye severely damaged, not to mention the mental scars from having the distorted bodies of her parents thrown on top of her. She only survived because a member of Celestial Being happened to be in the area and found her body. When she awoke next, she was in the medical bay of the Ptolmy, having undergone surgery on her arm and eye so that she had robotic - yet realistic - ones. She was then drafted into Celestial Being, and is the most recent Meister.

    Gundam Suit

    Gundam's Name: Gundam Celestia
Gundam's Appearance: The Gundam Celestia has a design similar to the ZGMF-X23S Saviour. The frame of the suit is, like all Gundams that belong to Celestial Being, white in colour. The armor, which is plentiful in order to support the mobile armor form, is light blue in colour. The machine's GN drive is located on the bridge that connects the two shoulder cannons, and easily propels the machine in both forms, although in the Mobile armor mode it is speedier thanks to it's sleek design.
Gundam's Weaponry/Defense Mechanisms: Stored in the shoulders of the Gundam are two blue plasma sabers with white handles. The backpack-like piece of the machine is a pair of twin GN powered cannons, which flip over the shoulders in Mobile suit mode and are naturally stationed in the front in Mobile armor mode. In it's head piece, it has a machine gun mounted. Optional weaponry includes a high energy beam rifle. For defense, the Celestia has the ability to produce a low powered GN-Field. It also comes equipped with an Assault Shroud, which utilized GN particles to mask it's presence from both the trained eye and any sort of censors. However, the activation used a large volume of GN particles, and can only be used for a maximum time limit of five minutes.
    Gundam Type: Shuttlecock

    Secondary Character:

    Character's Name: Evan Skye
    Character's Codename: N/A

    Gundam Pilot

    Character Name: Jonas F. Cache
Character's Codename: Ryder Fleetback (goes strictly by that)
    Character Age: 19
Character's Country of Origin/Power Block: AEU

Character Appearance: Jonas is a thin young man who could best be described as a "pretty boy". He has short soft dirty blond hair that flips gently and gracefully at its ends. He has caucasian skin and maintains a very lean and in shape figure, reaching about 5"11 in height and weighing roughly 155 lbs. He has soft calming light blue eyes that always seem to reflect a secret Jonas is hiding. His casual outfits when in civilian wear usually gravitate around higher end fashions from his higher class upbringing. This will most times consist of jeans with button up dress shirts or nice jackets. His footwear always matches the outfit he prepared but most times a pair of casual dress shoes or boots. Even though Jonas' face usual holds an indifferent or sad expression, he always carries himself properly, never slouching or appearing sloppy. He carries on all times, a small device given to him by Celestial Being upon joining. A small disc containing boundless amounts of information that would only be trusted in the hands of someone who is supposed to be dead.

Character's Suit Colors/Customizations: Jonas wears the basic CB pilot's suit. His is a deep maroon base coloring with a dull gray shoulder pads and lining.

Character Personality: Jonas is a very kind and level headed person over all. He doesn't like to pry into other people's affairs and most times expects the same from the people around him. He can be very talkitive and friendly but he never really goes into deep conversation about his past. He is never very taken by a pretty girl and usually tends to accidentally ignore an approach by one. He is cordial with most anyone he meets but he is never looking for any type of long term friendship because he only has one goal in mind. Bringing peace back to the world, if only for a short while.

Character History: Jonas was born in a town outside of Paris, France where he grew up with a healthy up bringing by his parents alongside his brother, Lloyd. Jonas' parents were both very influential politicians in France's government and were treated with the highest respect. Jonas matured through the bulk of his childhood normally, attending school and maintaining good marks. As the ESF began to slowly tear at the seams, Jonas' family quickly took to the side of the AEU, protesting the nuclear weapons entirely and preparing to back the AEU as best they could. Jonas however could not stand for this. The fighting wasn't going to end if it was just back and forth between the two sides. Someone would have to intervene. Jonas began looking into things, sticking his nose into dark places, and eventually came upon Celestial Being. Jonas quickly sided with their ideals, and joined them under one condition. They assist him in the fake suicide of Jonas F. Cache. The deal was struck and a few short days later, Jonas F. Cache died in a deadly car wreck, and Ryder Fleetback was born.

    Gundam's Name: Retribution
Gundam's Appearance: Retribution Gundam is a Gundam that is painfully obvious that its a melee type. It has a somewhat frame, heavier armor over the vital points, much like Exia with a bit more bulk. On either side of the waist are where Retribution Gundam holds its two large solid blades that stop just short of scraping the ground. It has one large GN Drive in its back which emits the typical shimmering green particles. The base color of Retribution is the same dark Maroon color as his pilot suit with black and silver lining underneath the armor.

Gundam's Weaponry/Defense Mechanisms: Two large solid swords that can be connected together at the handle to form a double sided blade. When connected like this, Retribution can channel GN particles into the blade to increase its cutting ability and range. This combination makes Retribution a deadly close range Gundam. As to not be trumped by range too bad, there is a small mid-ranged rifle stored horizontally across its lower back and can also throw the double sided sword in a boomerang fashion in a last ditch effort.
    Gundam Type: Exia/Melee

    Secondary Char

    Character's Name: Gale Patrick
    Character's Codename: --
    Character's Age: 22
Character's Country of Origin/Power Block: AEU
Character Appearance: Gale is a medium height, well built man with short dark auburn hair that looks a little unkempt. He has Caucasian skin and stands about 5'9. His civilian clothes are simple and consist of jeans and a t-shirt and sometimes an unbuttoned shirt overtop that one with a pair of tennis shoes.
Character History: Gale joined Celestial Being with no other reason but to use his abilities to finally stop all of this fighting. He knew he didn't quite have the capabilities to be a pilot but was recognized for his incredible tactical prowess. He was a quickly welcomed addition to the team.

Character's Occupation on Ptolemy: Tactical Officer

Note: Please let me know if you've never watched Gundam 00

    @ Brad: Reservations aren't allowed actually. :/ The ones that are already taken on the character list is me and David's characters, and um. We made this. xD;

Before you waste time on a sign-up though, I'd like to let you know that neither me nor Soma Peries are too keen on letting you participate, judging by your track record from the previous roleplays we've been in together. (In which neither of us were particularly thrilled at your roleplaying.) You're a great roleplayer, but the styles just aren't meshing. So until you can find some way to demonstrate to me that you won't.... go off on a tangent, I'd prefer if you didn't sign-up.

    @ Soma Peries: NO MARIE'S ALLOWED. D:<

Just kidding. Even if you get your game tomorrow, I bet you anything you'll finish your sign-up before me. x_o

@ lookalikealagaler: Errr, both swords and cannon's? That's... a bit overpowered. :| I definitely would not approve of an Exia-Virtue mix. And if you've seen the two suits, you'd know what I mean. A Sword-Cannon Gundam mix would not only make zero sense, it... wouldn't... really work. xD; Also, you'll be needing a last name with your codename, sweet heart.
    Also:
Please label which sign-up is which when you post. ♥

    @ Kansas: We've talked already. Or more like, I forced you into this. xD;

    Pilot

Character Name: 王白閻 [Pin Yin: Wang Bai Yan] [English: Michael Wang]
    Character's Codename: Aesur Therra
Character Age: ?? [Appears to be in his late teens, early twenties]
Character's Country of Origin/Power Block: Taiwan, Union

    Character Appearance
: If there's anything Michael is anal about, it's his appearance to the public eye. While he couldn't care less what he wears to the cockpit, as he knows that hey, it's what everybody's wearing, he pays close attention to trends and fashion. In a way, Michael sees it as his last connection to the world without Celestial Being, without Gundams, and without battle. As such, Michael's pale chestnut brown hair is styled into a loosely layered look, the strands jutting out in all the right places. His bangs hang mostly over his right eye, though the would-be monobang is parted so that he can see through the strands. At first, it's impossible to tell that Michael spends most of his morning fixing his hair, as the fringe and body have a somewhat messy look to them, but it's true. His hair reaches the base of his neck, cut back away from the front so that the need to brush them back is never a problem for him. Michael's wide eyes are jet black, or more correctly, dark brown, but they sparkle with a reddish gleam in the sunlight, giving him an almost sinister gaze, though this is usually set off by the goofy grin that's almost always smacked onto his face. His build is tall, rippled with lean muscle from the only hobby he keeps after becoming a Gundam Meister, kickboxing. His civilian clothing is usually a combination of slim fitting clothes that are of a somewhat longer cut than most clothes, (something he strives for, as he's a bit taller than average as well,) and he's somewhat prideful of the fact that he only has one pair of shoes in which he manages to fit with all his outfits while still looking put together. The shoes are a childish pair of red hightop converse, the laces tucked into the sides so that no bow or knot is visible. Though a native of Taiwan, Michael has the paler complexion of someone from South Korea, a quirk that he pays little attention to.

Character's Suit Colors/Customizations: Not particularly concerned with what he's wearing in the cockpit, Aesur's pilot suit has no customizations other than the fact that it is dyed to match Theritia's Venetian red color, and that Aesur has forgone the purple tint on the face glass of his helmet, preferring no tint at all despite plausible damage to his eyes from the violent glow of particle beams.

Character Personality: Upbeat and goofy, Michael is all sunshine and all smiles. Known for his friendliness and impeccable manners, he makes friends with ease, and doesn't seem to have many enemies, other than the sensitive people who can feel the sense of anxiety that Michael seems to exude despite his hardest efforts to maintain honest concern and consideration to everyone. Though he tries his best to deviate from his pessimistic side, Michael is a generally negative person, who prefers wearing a mask of courage and optimism. Unable to ever truly express himself fully, Michael does drop pieces of his mask in various circumstances. For example, in the cockpit, Michael is sadistic and self-confident, notching his concern for his fellow pilots as far from the top priority as he can without seeming like a completely different person. He feigns innocence when the communicator is on, but in the face of an adversary, Michael keeps no mercy, justifying his desire to destroy every last remaining bit with the fact that the enemy will always return if not dealt with. However, Michael is not completely unreasonable. He is quick to follow orders, and strictly adheres to the strategical plans when they are available, but if not, or if left in a dire situation, the young man is quick to show the blacker side of his smile. The cockpit is very much like a safezone to Michael, though it's honestly quite the opposite. However, when outside of his cockpit, his cowardice is more apparent. He has a recurring pyrophobia and haptephobia, the fear of fire and the fear of being touched, respectively. Fireplaces, candles, or fireworks- anything of the sort, will generate a panic attack of sorts, pale skin, trembling, and nausea. His haptephobia isn't quite as severe, but if there's one thing that Michael cannot help being rude about, it's his unbreakable principle of not allowing anyone to touch him. He shrinks away when reached out to, gently and nervously refuses hugs and handshakes, and whips himself away from someone when caught off guard. He make a point to avoid being touched and being around an open flame, so as not to appear strange and afflicted, and has been quite effective in keeping his phobia's a secret, just like everything else about him.

Character History: The son of a wealthy C.E.O., Bai Yan was easily a very happy, satisfied child. His father and mother always put time aside in their schedules to spend time with him, and to put it simply, he had the most ideal family, material, and emotional lifestyle. To Bai Yan, the emotion of sadness could only be defined when his parents had to leave him alone. But even then, he had a beautiful lurcher dog to keep him company, Jin being his best and only friend. Bai Yan didn't see a need for friends when he had his family and Jin. He didn't feel a need for anything, as he felt he already had everything he could ever desire. For six years, Bai Yan passed his days in an almost unimaginable paradise, the peace that the world outside was experiencing almost nothing compared to his happiness. But the wheels of his life stopped turning when the grand Wang Estate went up in flames. Though not a single person on the grounds figured out the motive, it was confirmed that the fire was the result of arson. At the time, Bai Yan had already been put to bed, and his parents resided in the targeted area of the house. The flames spread around the main building by means of the lush shrubbery and gardens, along with traces of alcohol concentrated at the point the flames had supposedly started. The last that Bai Yan ever saw of his precious life was burning in hot flames, along with the black shapes of his parents' bodies when he attempted to find them. He was pulled from the flames, and placed in the foster home of another wealthy entrepreneur who had been good friends with Bai Yan's late father. The boy was unstable at this point, and was unable to communicate, the difficulty of being unable to speak grueling and discouraging as he made active responses only when someone attempted to hold his hand or pat his head. As the first winter that Bai Yan would not pass with his parents rolled around, fireplaces were lit for festivity, and Bai Yan was quickly diagnosed with pyrophobia, characterized by loud yells of fear, uncontrollable shaking, and shortness of breath.

A silent decree passed through his new home that fireplaces would not be lit in rooms that Bai Yan occupied, and that nobody would touch the young man. The other children, a daughter and son, were forbidden from playing with Bai Yan, as they were too young to understand the rule forbidding them to touch him. He was set off from the world, treated kindly with a pitying love. A month before the anniversary of his parents' death, Bai Yan became vaguely responsive once again, slowly realizing that not only would his beloved parents not be satisfied with the way his life was passing, but that he, too, wanted more. He picked up various hobbies, wanting to try a little of everything to catch up on half a year lost, and slowly grew more normal. His fear of fire and being touched failed to disappear, despite the best efforts to help him recuperate. He excelled at everything he did, kickboxing, piano, guitar, cooking, card games, painting, and dancing. Anything he chose, he would excel without much effort. However, the one challenge that Bai Yan failed to overcome was his social boundaries. He found himself unable to speak with children his age who were not the daughter and son of his foster parents. As such, he was enrolled into a public school to help him gain social skills once more. It was a blunder for the first year, but Bai Yan insisted on returning for the second grade. He was much more fluent and sociable at this time, having put much of his time into studying others and habits during speech and interaction. He spent half the year becoming one of the most well liked people in the entire school, and his fear of being touched was generally accepted. But a new girl at the school was unaware of his phobia, and shook his hand without allowing his time to deny the offer. His panic attack signaled the last time he would ever go back to general schooling. He was hospitalized for a time, the impact of his suppressed memories resurfacing causing him to suffer from frequent panic attacks for no reason at all. Another half year passed before he was completely stabilized, but this time, he didn't return to public life.

Instead, his exceptional talents were recruited by a deep auburn haired woman, and he was brought to Celestial Being as the first meister of the new generation, learning all the controls and techniques necessary to effectively operate a Gundam in battle by the time he was 11 years old. He has spent most of his life as apart of Celestial Being, and his home is nowhere but the Ptolemaios.

    Gundam Suit

    Gundam's Name: Gundam Theritia
Gundam's Appearance: With the lightest frame of them all, Theritia takes heavier damage when hit, but its high maneuverability allows for it dodge most incoming attacks with ease. It has the basic white undercolor of the third generation Celestial Being Gundams, but boasts a jet black torso and black GN sonic blades shaped like kukri's jutting up and out from its knees, and back out from its elbows. The traditional angled Gundam brow is a deep orange-gold in color. Theritia has two spinning rods equipped on either arm, designed to redirect short bursts of particle beams and turn blades from their original path, the basic light-weight defense mechanism derieved from the old Union SVMS-01 Flag. Its GN drive sits in a rotating device that can push the drive out of it's stationary position in the back of Theritia's torso, rotate to fit the pilot's desire in order to increase the speed at which Theritia can change its direction with direct propulsion, and it can return to its stationary form to create stronger single-direction propulsion.
Gundam's Weaponry/Defense Mechanisms: The GN sonic blades attached to Theritia's joints are removable, able to be used as any other GN blade. (Albeit, an oddly shaped one.) In the heels of Theritia's feet are eight GN missiles, four lining up each leg. Two GN Sub-machine guns accompanied by two GN beam sabers are set on either side of Theritia's middle.
    Gundam Type: Melee/High-Speed Maneuverability, Non-Transformable

    Secondary Characters:

    Character's Name: Scarlett Quinn
Character's Codename: None, though commonly referred to only as Miss Quinn
    Character's Age: 48
Character's Country of Origin/Power Block: AEU, Ireland
Character Appearance: Scarlett's most defining feature is her long, reddish auburn hair, her long bangs parted on the far left and brushed to the right, pinned in place by a fake flower, the type changing on a daily basis. Her hair is normally streaked with gray, but adamant against these disgusting signs of aging, her hair is regularly dyed back to their proper color. Her eyes are a pale shade of blue, bright with intelligence and sharp with attentiveness. Her frame is visibly underweight, though not dangerously so, as her petit height tends to create the illusion that she's not quite as light as she actually is. On board the Ptolemaios, Scarlett often chooses to wear a royal purple scoopneck quarter sleeved shirt over a pair of black dress pants. A pair of gold stiletto's match her gold chandelier earrings, and at times, she wears a very short white lab coat that cinches around her waist like a blazer.
Character History: Though her place of birth is often listed as Ireland, Scarlett was born on the Ptolemaios to the family that stayed aboard the ship to maintain it's ability to operate. She lived in space for the first four years of her life, before her parents brought her back to Earth so that she could be educated. Living with her grandparents, Scarlett excelled in academics, easily skipping grades like skipping stones. She ignored anyone but her family, feeling that their intellectual levels were like primates compared to hers, and desperate to get back into space. But whenever debates about Celestial Being came up, she vehemently took the side that Celestial Being was a terror, instead of a savior. She adamantly insisted that Celestial Being was no longer a threat, as after all this time of peace, they most certainly must have disbanded. She graduated a very young age, making sure that her name had been made as someone who did not believe in Celestial Being and would never be aligned with the organization, and then joined the very cause she'd spoken out against. In a way, she was the first and the last person anyone would brand as a candidate for Celestial Being, but she disappeared before anyone could call her out on it. Using various alias', Scarlett became a master of disguises, learning everything she could about medicine and mechanics. While she could never immerse herself in the workings of mobile suits, she became a respectable doctor in many fields, and took her expertise to the select few on the Ptolemaios. But before she returned, at the age of 31, she picked up a young boy the age of seven as her little assistant, and brought him back to the ship with her as her helper, and eventually to her extreme displeasure, the first Gundam Meister of the new generation. Being one of the oldest members on the Ptolemaios, she treats the crew and meisters like her children, and is a very strict woman expecting only the best from everyone.

    Character's Occupation on Ptolemy: Doctor

    Antagonist

    Antagonist's Name: Siegen Dierk
    Antagonist's Age: 27
Antagonist's Country of Origin/Power Block: AEU,
    Antagonist's Affiliated Army: AEU
    Antagonist's Rank: 1st Lieutenant

Antagonist's Appearance: The most striking feature about Siegen is his violent red hair, roughly styled in the morning by scrunching his hair in his fists and pressing his bangs down. The quality of this style depends on his luck for the day, and he often decides the outcome of the day based on his morning appearance. When his hair is clean of gel and other hairstyling products, it is choppy and layered, reaching the base of his neck in the back and the bottom of his chin in the front. His bangs tickle the tip of his nose, and he can't be bothered to cut them, nor does he feel the need to, as he's gotten very accustomed to seeing through a curtain of hair. In his pockets, he always keep a hairtie and a clip, used to pin his bangs out of his face whenever there is the rare occasion for him to pilot a mobile suit, or operate important machinery. His favorite kind of shoes are no shoes, but when out on the road, he resigns himself to a pair of black patent leather flat-bottomed sneakers with a velvet red and white strip perpendicular to the sole of the shoe. This pair of shoes is usually the most outstanding part of Siegen's ensemble, the rest depending on the situation, but always as simple as they can possibly be. He never wears patterns, wearing solid colors only, and often keeping his color selection wholly neutral. He wears no accessories on a regular basis, none on his wrists, fingers, neck, or arms, though he may be caught in a pair of aviator sunglasses if it is bright enough, though his fringe already makes a very good veil. If not for the fact that Siegen's clothes are impossibly tailored to his lanky and angular body shape, he would seem a very messy and sloppily put together kind of man. His eyes are burnt brown, and freckles that are almost impossible to see are scattered across the bridge of his pale nose.
Antagonist's Personality: Red hair, a german name, and an implaceable accent, Siegen's roots are hard to discern, as he never shares his secrets, nor does he find reason to. A goofball at times, the battlefield is the last place one would expect to find him, but his fingers are nimble and swift, his eyes sharp and accurate, but his reaction time dreadfully slow. Were it not for the fact that he could take an entire week to realize that his bed was moved from the right side of his apartment to the left, he would be a moderately effective pilot, but as it were, he has a very hard time doing so. The result is that Siegen is often shanked back to footwork, or something dreadfully boring like watching an empty hallway on a small TV screen for hours. The various things he's done have molded Siegen into a rather aimiable man, always willing to lend a helping hand, and very patient. The problem is that if he finds no need to, Siegen fails to distinguish between friend and foe. The remnants of his once peaceful lifestyle, Siegen does not believe in senseless killing, and prefers conflicts be settled without military action. Though the obedient side of him sometimes condemns him to go against his principles, he is not afraid to change his opinions and morals to fulfill whatever he feels is the priority.

  • Don't worry, i plan to work on this later. Most likely tomorrow since I have to go to bed. As for Gundam knowledge, I have watched Gundam SEED/SEED Destiny. XD

Also, as always, I am joining Jack. That's why I'm an antagonist because I'm going to be his sidekick. My own boyfriend forced me to join this RP. I joined since he wanted to have a sidekick...so yeah. XD

    Antagonist's Name: Misayu Taylor
    Antagonist's Age: 26
Antagonist's Country of Origin/Power Block: Union (United States of America)
    Antagonist's Affiliated Army: Union
    Antagonist's Rank: 2nd Lieutenant

Antagonist's Appearance: Misayu has Reddish-Brown Hair; she has bright brown eyes and a very slim figure. She is very well endowed and has very light skin. While her hair covers over the right side of her eye, but only for her natural style. Misayu stands at a height of 5'4"; she hates it when people call her short and won't stop at nothing to kick their ass for it. Around her neck, she wears a dog tag necklace with two dog tags, one dog tag being for her mom and the other being for her dad. They had gotten the dog tag made for her and she hasn't taken off the necklace since their death. She was born in the United States, even though she is half Japanese; Her mother was Japanese and had married an American man, making their daughter Japanese American. Misayu has been told by family friends that she has her father's beautiful brown eyes and her mother's same reddish brown hair. She also has her mothers slim slender body, but often works out to keep her strength up, in case she has to do any heavy lifting or pulling. She isnt a body builder but she still manages to keep her mother's beautiful figure and eats very healthy, keeping a low diet so she doesnt gain any wieght.

Here's a clue to what she looks like. I'll try to explain her general appearance more but not what she wears since she is always in her uniform.

Antagonist's Personality: Misayu is very calm; she always gets her work done first hand and never procrastinates. But it isn't very hard to make her giggle; she can be very friendly. Though, Misayu isn't very social and often gets mistaken as having a cold personality. She doesn't have social personality because she had grown up without very much social interaction, seeing that her parents had died when she was still very young. She doesn't have many friends, if any at all and always plays by the rules. Never once has she been seen breaking them and she continues to go by the rules until meeting a certain young girl, who seems to be much older than here. She is always willing to give someone one her side a helping hand and will do anything to keep her comrades safe from harm. She loves to play it safe and keep her body healthy; she is doesn't eat very much which tends to make her very sick. However, she is very strong and never wimps out on anything. She is the type of person that will work hard even if it kills her. Nothing can stop her from completing her work and doing the one thing that she loves.

Antagonist's History: Misayu's parents died when she three, during a mysterious freak accident; while she was still three, they hadn't found any of her closest relatives and she had to be put into an orphanage until she was old enough to support herself. When she finally turned 8, she was able to support herself while receiving great foster care being adopted by a loving family. During her years as an 8 year old girl, she had been taught how to read and write through homeschooling and then put into grade school to learn more. Misayu's schooling had been delayed, which meant she hadn't graduated from school until she was 22. That's when she had joined the union and at 24, she had finally become a 2nd Lieutenant due to her hard working duties and devotion to all her work. However, she still wonders what her parents were like she remembers their face and remembers how warm they felt when they hugged her, but thinking about who they were, only draws blanks for her. She does remember her father becoming a Union soldier but was too young to understand what he did. Her mother was a house wife who had to stay back home and take care of her. It was hard for her to understand her parents freak accident since she was visiting with a family friend. She never remembered the actual death of her parents due to her young age.

Other: Misayu meets a girl named Michelle but at first they don't get along; they often say rude things to each other and tend to do their duties seperate from each other. She is very good with weapons and can use any type of weapon she is given without even knowing what type of gun it is. She prefers doing paperwork rather than using a gun to shoot anyone, even if they are on opposite sides. However, she won't hesitate to shoot anyone, even if it goes against her will.

This is all I have so far. XD

lookalike.... if you're going to halfass your signup then I don't think this is the RP for you. I'm pretty fluent on most Gundam and its painfully obvious you just took the special features from the Vayate and the Mercurius in Gundam Wing and put it into one suit and over powered them... that and the planet defensor system for shields went obsolete in Gundam 00 when the GN Drives were invented since GN particles can form their own shields when concentrated... just tossing it out there

At best, I've only seen bits and pieces of Gundam 00; everything else I know about it comes from research. My expertise lies more in the Universal Century and Cosmic Era timelines (namely, Zeta Gundam and Gundam SEED). I do know that somebody has to play the Char (or a group of Chars), so I'd like to fill that role.

    Antagonist

    Antagonist's Name: Michelle Nishikawa
    Antagonist's Age: 26
Antagonist's Country of Origin/Power Block: Union (United States of America)
    Antagonist's Affiliated Army: Union
    Antagonist's Rank: 1st Lieutenant

Antagonist's Appearance: Michelle is taller than average for a woman of her ethnicity, standing at around 5'7"; while her frame is somewhat skinny, she has decently-sized hips and breasts (measurements: 35-23-35). Her hair is extremely dark brown (almost black) and drops down halfway to her waist; while she tries her best to keep her hair straight and orderly, a few stray locks manage to stick up here and there, and her bangs often droop over her right eye. Michelle has brown eyes, though her right eye is slightly lighter in color than the left one; due to the fact that her bangs often cover her right eye, most people don't notice that she has heterochromia. She is almost never seen outside of the standard Union uniform (blue jacket, white shirt, pants, and gloves, gray tie, and black shoes), though she has opted to forego the blue hat, which she has vocally criticized as looking stupid; she keeps her SIG-Sauer in a shoulder holster hidden under her jacket. On the rare occasions she uses civilian dress, she wears a black T-shirt with a picture of Suzaku Kururugi and the words "SPIN SPIN SUGAR" or "NO SPIN ZONE" in white capital letters on the front (she owns two Suzaku T-shirts and alternates between them), blue jeans, a black leather belt with a silver buckle and a holster, a silver wristwatch with a black leather band worn on her left wrist, her personal dog tags, and black skate shoes.
Antagonist's Personality: Most people who meet Michelle often tend to hear her before they can see her. Loud, boisterous, overly exuberant, and easily excitable, at first glance she does not appear to be ideal officer material. While she is highly personable and quick to make friends, she often tends to come off to others as being rather talkative and overbearing. She has an extremely overactive imagination and often tends to get caught up in thinking of fantastical or improbable scenarios, further contributing to her scatterbrained persona. Her abiding love for mecha anime and her tendency to paraphrase characters' dialogue and invoke tropes whenever she feels them to be appropriate does not help matters, either.

While her habits and traits may not endear her well to her superiors, Michelle's intelligence cannot be denied. She possesses a great deal of technical and mechanical aptitude, which lends itself well towards working with tanks, aircraft, mobile suits, and other sorts of war machines. Given that she is a mecha anime fangirl, she is particularly enamored with mobile suits and has gone to great lengths to study every single detail about them; she also has a healthy appreciation for tanks, aircraft, and other traditional weapons and has taken care not to neglect them in her studies. While her main area of expertise is with piloting, mechanics, and weapons research and development, her dynamic personality allows her to be a capable leader of men should the need arise.
    Antagonist's History:

Other: Michelle uses a SIG-Sauer P226 chambered in 9x19mm Parabellum as her primary sidearm; she sometimes equips it with a suppressor and a laser aiming module when needed.

    Antagonist

    Antagonist's Name: Charlotte Emily Mannerheim
    Antagonist's Age: 28
Antagonist's Country of Origin/Power Block: AEU (United Kingdom, Finland)
    Antagonist's Affiliated Army: AEU
    Antagonist's Rank: Captain

Antagonist's Appearance: Charlotte is an imposing woman with measurements to match, standing at a full 6' and possessing a 38" bust, 26" waist, and 38" hips. Her dirty blonde hair is straight, full, and reasonably long, stopping right past her shoulders; her bangs are trimmed perfectly level just above her brows. Her piercing steel-blue (some would say gray) eyes are framed by a pair of wire-rimmed eyeglasses with rectangular lenses; she has an aversion towards contact lenses and eye surgery and has commented that guys love girls who wear glasses. She wears the standard AEU uniform, which consists of a gray jacket, pants, and beret, a white shirt and gloves, a blue and gray tie, brown shoes, and a black belt with silver buckle; she wears her Walther openly in a belt holster. Her civilian attire consists of a white long-sleeved collared blouse, a black miniskirt, a black leather belt with a gold buckle and a holster, black opaque thigh-high stockings, black leather knee-high boots with 3" stiletto heels, and a gold wristwatch worn on her left wrist; in cold weather, she adds a black wool peacoat, black leather padded gloves, and a black ushanka to the ensemble.
Antagonist's Personality: On the surface, Charlotte is as cold and merciless as the winter of her adopted homeland, perfectly willing to sacrifice the lives of others without a second thought in order to achieve her objectives if necessary. However, at the same time, she believes that armed conflict is to be used only as a last resort, and she tries to spare the lives of her comrades and subordinates as best as possible. While she is by and large a by-the-book officer, she is perfectly willing to bend or even break the rules and disobey her standing orders when the circumstances warrant it. Despite her firm and strict demeanor, she is actually quite kind and soft-spoken and demonstrates deep care and compassion for the men and women under her command, in keeping with her philosophy of preserving (allied) life whenever possible; she takes the extra effort to get to know her subordinates well, and she generally treats them with great respect.

Charlotte's expertise lies mainly in tactics, strategy, and history. If nothing else, she is very good at observation, thinking on her feet, and improvising. She has an extremely keen eye for detail and can deduce facts from seemingly innocuous clues at a glance. While she prefers to plan out actions to the finest detail in advance, she has an acumen for devising impromptu battle plans in the field as she goes along, constantly adapting them to fit with the ever-changing state of the battlefield; combined with her observation skills and her knowledge, she can completely counter any enemy moves if she is given enough time and information. Her rather outspoken views regarding the role of mobile suits in combat have earned her some amount of consternation, though; she is a firm believer in combined arms tactics and steadfastly maintains that mobile suits are to be used as a supplement rather than a replacement for tanks, aircraft, and other, more traditional weapons of war.
    Antagonist's History:

Other: Charlotte uses a Walther P99 chambered in 9x19mm Parabellum as her sidearm.

    Antagonist

    Antagonist's Name: Marianne Nguyen Santos
    Antagonist's Age: 24
Antagonist's Country of Origin/Power Block: HRL (Vietnam, the Philippines)
    Antagonist's Affiliated Army: HRL
    Antagonist's Rank: 2nd Lieutenant

Antagonist's Appearance: Marianne is of average height and build for a woman of her ethnicity, standing at 5'5" and possessing a 33" bust, a 22" waist, and 33" hips. Her jet black hair is worn quite long, flowing all the way down to her waist; her bangs are trimmed perfectly level to her brows, and her side locks are trimmed to shoulder level and held in place with clips. One of her distinguishing visual features is a medium-sized ahoge atop her head which, despite her best efforts to straighten it out, can only be kept down whenever she wears a cap or helmet; once the headgear comes off, the unruly hair springs back in place. Her eyes are sapphire blue instead of the typical dark brown, hinting at distant European ancestry. Marianne almost always wears the standard HRL uniform, a drab ensemble consisting of a gray-green tunic, pants, and cap, white gloves, and brown shoes; her two pistols, a Colt and a Makarov, are hidden in shoulder holsters under her tunic. Her idea of civilian attire consists of a white long-sleeved collared blouse, a black sweater vest, a black pleated miniskirt, a black leather belt with a silver buckle and a holster for her Colt, black leather fingerless gloves, black fishnet stockings, black-and-white striped knee socks, black leather Mary Janes, and a silver wristwatch worn on her left wrist; she keeps her Makarov in a holster strapped to the inside of her right thigh.
Antagonist's Personality: Outside of combat, Marianne is generally a calm, quiet, kind, genteel, and overall unassuming soul, content only with fulfilling her duties to the best of her ability. While she may appear to be somewhat of a shrinking violet at first glance, she can be quite cheery and sociable when actually approached; polite and courteous almost to a fault, she always has a good word to say to everyone she meets, and she tends to win over both civilians and fellow soldiers alike with small acts of kindness. She is very much a wide-eyed idealist, with her own views on the nature of warfare and on how the nations of the world should be reunited; she is also smart enough not to espouse any of her more radical beliefs, so as not to cause any disputes due to opposing doctrines.

When sent into combat, Marianne is unflappable and unyielding above all else. Even in the worst situations, she always manages to keep her cool and concentrate on whatever tasks are at hand; this single-minded conviction enables her to keep fighting no matter how bad the odds may get. While generally a compliant and dutiful soldier, she ultimately keeps her own counsel on what orders she chooses to obey or disobey; she simply will not comply with any command she finds to be morally repugnant or tactically disadvantageous.
    Antagonist's History:

Other: Marianne is an avid collecter of Colt M1911-based pistols and uses a Kimber Desert Warrior as her sidearm; she also carries a Norinco Type 59 as a backup weapon.

    lookalikealager: Er, since I'm not allowed to call you lookalike, I'm just going to guess on how the rest of your name is spelled. Hopefully I got it right. xD;

Anyway, I asked Kansas to call you out on the mecha, since I had to go. But if you expected to get caught.... why did you even put it in the first place? D: I dunno, that rubs me in the wrong way. Either way, I don't think I'd want to put you up in a Pilot slot, but you're welcome to try out for an antagonist or secondary character.

Kansas: Err, add more padding to your pilot's personality. D: I'm gonna be lighter on secondary characters, but I want a little more beef on the prominent ones.

And I said not too much on the secondary characters, but seriously dude. :| I know you can do better then that! I know I browbeat you into this, but... D:<

Add to it! You set a bad example for your future students, hahaha! Accepted

Misayu: Good job for not getting any help. :O I do have a beef though. Errr... next time, don't stylize your sign-up. xD; Makes it look smaller than it actually is. Because as it is, your history is wayyyyyyyyy too short. Add to it, yeah?

Jackkkk: Okay. I won't lie to you, as I've tried my best not to in the past either. I'm not a fan of your obsession with artillery. xD; It's perfectly fitting in this RP though, so I'm just going to say... I would appreciate it if you would... tone it down. :| I'm pretty sure I've told you before how I feel when I see a bunch of links in a sign-up, and you've limited them; thank you. But reminder, you can't... carry those around in public. :| The SIG-Sauer and Walther are okay to carry around on person, but... grenade launchers? Assault rifles? I deplore that once again, you spare me. x_x That's why we have big giant robots.

And I've never ever seen any kind of character from you that isn't cynical, irritating, and just generally PMS'ing 24/7. I'd like that to change even a little for this RP. :|

Jack and Kimi: Last time I was in an RP with the both of you, I didn't look at a single post from either of you, and I got along with the RP just fine. In other words, try your best not to duckpond. :| I understand that so far, you two are the only antagonists, (which will change, as I intend to have an antagonist as well.) but I just want to let you know that this isn't a one-on-one RP.

Alright, so I just realized how many people are actually ending up joining this thing.

And suffice to say, I'm not really... hyped, anymore. :| I'm extremely glad that almost all of the people who signed up are amazing RP'ers and are definitely good enough to hit my quality bar.

But I've organized a huge RP once before.

And yeah. Most of you guys saw how that one went down.

So me and David are going to talk it over. Maybe limit it to four to five people. Sorry guys, but I really hadn't expected this many people to be interested, and it's actually partially my fault for telling some of you to join. x_x We just won't be able to get this RP moving if we have too many people. I will get back to you guys on your sign-ups and stuff, but I'd really like to first apologize for my lack of planning, and I'd like to decide on the four-five people who are going to participate in the actual RP. Please again, let me know if you've watched or have not watched 00, because if you have, then I understand that you might want to join this RP a little more than someone who hasn't.

And I'll make this into an OOC thread soon enough. :B

Darn, looked interesting. Oh well, I probably wouldn't make it anyways. :/

Edit:My deal is pretty much the same as ShadowofTime01's. I don't want to write something that you won't even consider.

  • So is this RP registration still open as it says on the first post? or is it closed?

I'm a huge 00 fan (my favorite gundam series), thus I have a knowledgeable background in it, but I haven't really done the RPing thing before, so I could see how a first time RP-er would not be a good add for master RP-ers such as yourselves. I did enjoy your story though and if there still is space I would like to submit an application form, I just don't want to devote a lot of time to writing something that won't even be considered b/c you have too many people.

Lostt and ShadowofTime01: I hadn't really been planning on discerning between RPing ability at first, but the other factor, people, is the clincher. We have just... too many people, and I'd really rather that neither of you put time into a sign-up, because I've made promises that I shouldn't have, and those promises are the main things that would stop me from being able to consider either of you. But~

I will be making another Gundam RP, most likely, for the sheer fact that I would love to RP with all of you, including the people who have technically signed up but haven't yet posted their sign-up. But for this particular one, I would like to respect the co-creator's wish, and also my wish, for a smaller entourage. Please, do keep an eye out for another 00 RP, as I'm definitely going to be working on another one that will allow for a larger cast.

And Shadow, no worries for being a first time RPer. What's more important to me in fandom RP's is that you know what we're talking about and what's going on. xD; So the fact that you've actually watched the series is definitely the most important thing to me.

Good to know. Do want to clarify that I'm more than a mere watcher of the series, but I am knowledgeable in almost every aspect of the show, and have some insight on the side stories too. I'm currently dying without Menclave's release of last sunday's episode... 00 has to be my all time favorite anime because of the great balance between character development and interpersonal relationships with great mobile suit action and plot twists I sometimes don't even see coming. Anyways, I'll be on the look out for another 00 RP, and good luck with this one, I hope it all works out for you two.

Okay, this is supposed to be David's job, but he obviously isn't interested in it. D:< I don't want to decline people, and I've had up to here with this whole business, so ask me why you were declined if you want, but I suggest you don't expect an answer from me, because I'm not going to justify myself. If you want a reason, talk to David.

Jack: You're in, though since your characters are usually cut from the same cookie cutter, either get rid of one, or make them different enough so that we don't have three cranky women in all three power blocks. :|

    Alter Ego: We've discussed this.

    Chibi-chan: Again, discussed.

    David: Obviously you're in. xD I don't really know if I like your history that much though, since it kind of offsets the "era of peace" issue. Whatever though, you probably won't change it. xD;

    Kansas: You're in, of course.

    And myself.

Thanks to everyone else who signed-up, be it here or elsewhere, and I'll be starting this roleplay hopefully sometime next week, so finish your sign-ups. Chop chop.

Character's Country of Origin/Power Block: AEU

Character Appearance: Standing at a respectable 1.78 meters of height, with an inherently slim frame toned by the intense physical workouts that his profession entails and the long, nimble fingers that he has to thank for it, Kain really gives off anything but a dangerous presence appearance-wise, especially with his sunny attitude. His blonde hair is usually kept short so as to keep it from getting in the way or looking overly untidy, but it has a slight tendency to curl up and tangle, usually having at least a slightly messy look to it at all times, and the light skin pigment and blue eyes combine with it to form the full trio of stereotypical nordic traits, though the small nose and narrow facial features - particularly the eyes - create slight dissonance in that regard. His civilian outfit, on the occasions it is used, brings an ordinary office worker to mind more than anything else, featuring a simple but presentable white shirt, black trousers secured to the waist by a matching belt, and a pair of rather nondescript brown shoes. A red tie and black blazer are sometimes thrown in if the occasion is truly formal, but given his manner, the professionalism of this look is still questionable at best. Most of Kain's clothes are also worn and patched to various degrees, given the economic situation he and Abele have struggled with for so long and the fact that Kain really doesn't care all that much and looks more or less as deranged regardless of the state of his clothes. Whenever possible, Kain prefers to don his pilot suit, however, as it is a source of comfort to him and helps keep his mind focused on what he does for a living again.

Character's Suit Colors/Customizations: Featuring a black and dark purple color scheme, Kain's suit is standard fare save for two things. The first is a pair of customized gloves that can be used to interface with the remote cannon control system in place of the conventional controls, allowing him to transfer his formidable puppetry skill directly into his fighting technique. Using this control system effectively denies him access to other non-voice controls as it reacts to his finger movements, but usually this is no concern as the cannon controls are what Kain is there for. The second customization is one of comfort: a breast pocket on the pilot suit, complete with a pair of tiny straps, to keep his dearly beloved doll, Rosa, securely with him at all times. The latter is a customization made on the pilots own, explicit, request, granted for the sake of both his mental stability and that of his colleagues in Celestial Being who were more than a little tired by the panic attacks Kain is liable to have whenever the doll is out of his sight.

Character Personality: Kain is hardly what one would expect of a person with as grim a profession as his. Talkative, friendly and almost childishly carefree, he is a near-constant ray of sunshine who is more than willing to share his radiance with whoever or whatever he runs into, be they human, haro, or just about anything suitably animate. He is usually the first to try to break a nervous or tense atmosphere with some friendly chatter and is far more prone to laughter and smiles than frowning. Despite his continuously sunny attitude, however, there is something about him that just doesn't seem quite...right. There is a certain...disjointedness to his mode of conversation, a slightly absent look in his eyes, and he seems to avoid gloomy topics with an almost desperate persistence at times.

Oh, and then there's the little doll he habitually tries to include in the conversation, of course.

The problem, as it turns out, is in Kain's head. Or rather...what isn't in his head anymore. Though the crippling blow he took to his skull is visible as nothing but a small bump anymore, the damage to his mind was not so easily remedied. Kain's memory is a disjointed mess, happily mixing together past and present, mixing, matching and substituting bits and pieces to the point where very little make sense anymore. He can easily forget the name of someone introduced to him five minutes ago yet remember with vivid clarity the shiny brass button he saw on a postman's uniform fifteen years ago, lose his way when trying to find the room he has inhabited for years yet recite fifteen digits of Pi without the slightest hesitance.

In addition to this, the boundaries between reality and imagination seem to be blurry to him at best, perfect evidence of which being his strong attachment to Rosa, an old doll he treats like the apple of his eye. The toy never leaves his side, not even when he enters combat, and he habitually looks after its well-being, often even at the cost of his own. Rosa seems to be both a source of comfort and a trusted confidante of the pilot's, and anyone who would try to take her away from him or - worse yet - damage the doll will soon find that even his placid, world-loving persona has a truly vicious side to it. Only one person may touch Rosa besides Kain himself, and that is the one person he seems to value higher than the doll: his long-time partner and co-pilot, Abele.

For indeed, one can not truly discuss Kain without at least mentioning Abele, the one person besides Rosa - for the doll is as much of a person to him as any other - whose name he recalls without fail. Though otherwise fairly stubborn and hard to keep in check, Kain seems to hold a childlike devotion and trust for his co-pilot and is rarely found far from her. She is the first person he turns to when faced with pretty much any decision or otherwise uncomfortably difficult thing, though should Abele not be available, he will instead consult Rosa on the issue. If neither is around, a nervous breakdown will most likely ensue has he attempts to wrestle down the issue on his own, usually with poor success.

For all his incompetence and absent-mindedness, there is one thing that Kain is still frightfully good at, and that is piloting Mobile Suits. The precise reasons can only be speculated on, but for some reason the pilot seat of a Gundam is one of the few environments where he feels fully at ease, and with the surprising similarities between the remote cannons' control system and his own hobby as a puppeteer, Kain can manipulate the firearms with skill and precision that even advanced aiming algorithms have trouble matching. It is a natural talent honed to its extreme through rigorous training, and the main reason he was accepted as a pilot. Because Kain's mind tends to wander and his ability to keep places and names in mind is shaky at best, however, his control of the suit is normally restricted to the remote cannnons, leaving control of the movement and heavy armaments in the hands of Abele. He doesn't mind, though; to the contrary, Kain is only happy to entrust all the tricky decisions and stressing codespeak to the inexhaustible fount of wisdom that he considers his partner to be.

Placid and easygoing though he may seem, Kain's mental stability is not as unshakable as most would assume. There is a number of things that can trigger extreme stress and even psychotic behavior from him, though thus far separation from Rosa and Abele or harm to either of them are the only confirmed ones, and as such he is usually treated with a fair measure of caution by his colleagues. Very few things seem to rattle him when he is in Abele's company, however, and as they both co-pilot and no other combination has been able to match their performance in that regard, Kain's status as a Gundam Meister has yet to be called into serious question.

Character History: Due to the injury to his head, Kain's early history is as much a mystery to himself as it is to anyone else, though apparently none of it was of particular interest to CB. The first definite record of his presence was the time when he and Abele met in Germany, AEU.

It was in the middle of an armed coup staged by the New Order, a group that claimed the ever-present threat of the CB to be nothing but a government myth and sought to disprove it by occupying the country through military force, one city at a time. Sure enough, Celestial Being did not make an appearance, but global law enforcement did. The 'revolution of mankind' that the New Order had envisioned survived for about a week before the underarmed and overpowered revolutionaries were flushed out. The total deathcount barely breached a hundred, but by modern standards it was a tragedy of considerable proportions - and, it was later argued, a sign of things to come - and both Abele and Kain found themselves stuck in the aftermath. Homebroken and supportless, they stuck to the same strategy that had pulled them through the riot alive, setting out to rebuild their lives as partners, first out of necessity, then out of habit, and finally out of friendship. Their search for employment soon led them into the service of the AEU government, and - as word of their 'battlefield experience' leaked into the higher circles - eventually into one of their more sensitive programs: a special test unit for developing the strictly forbidden mobile suit technology. The duo had their qualms about it, of course, but the pressing need for better income soon outweighed the distant prospect of the omnipresent authority figures in the sky coming down to punish them for their transgression and so they agreed.

This, as it turned out, was only inviting tragedy back into their lives. Decayed by years upon years of neglect, mobile suit technology was anything but safe, and during one fateful trial run, everything went horribly, horribly wrong. Abele's test suit lost control, and as Kain attempted to stop it, suits and pilots alike received serious injury. A heated scrap-shared penetrated and seared Abele's eye, rendering her half-blind and beyond salvation from even the most advanced medicine, while Kain received a devastating blow to his head.

Quick medical intervention saved their lives, but with half of Abele's sight and at least as much of Kain's mind gone, neither was fit to pilot anymore. At first, AEU officials considered simply eliminating the duo to avoid a dangerous information leak, but upon intense questioning, it was found that neither seemed to have any recollection of the project they had been working on and so they were eventually dismissed as harmless loonies and shuttled out the door with a small pile of hush money.

The labor market had not been kind to Kain and Abele before, and their newfound status as cripples did little to improve matters. Profitable employment avoided them like the plague, and the settlement was soon spent. Just as the situation was starting to look completely hopeless, however, a mysterious third party approached the duo with an offer they were in no position to refuse...

Though their employer assured them that none of the tragic incidents were their doing, Kain and Abele may as well have been tailored to fit the lone Gundam that waited them within the depths of the Ptolemaios...or vice-versa. What they were to society, Gundam Alice was to its fellow mobile suits. A tragic case of development taken further than the human component could support, its multi-target system, meant to be the perfected version of the now long-gone Throne Zwei's, had turned out to be a practical nightmare. It was, simply put, too much for even the most tenacious pilots to handle, their bodies drained of energy far before the suit had reached its own performance limits. Haro substitutes had proven difficult to optimize, and though they could provide satisfactory performance, it was still thought that something...more could be achieved.

This mythical 'more', as it so happened, was precisely what Kain and Abele managed to bring. Their piloting skills had been honed by their work with the cruder models and with their mutual history, cooperative effort came to them as naturally as breathing. Soon enough, their anonymous contact had seen enough to deem the rather unconventional solution worthwhile, and so Celestial Being's first - and to date only - two-pilot Gundam was brought into service.

    Gundam Suit

    Gundam's Name: Alice

Gundam's Appearance: Appearance-wise, the Alice bears a certain resemblance to Throne Zwei, the suit upon which its design was based. Additional defensive plating on the suit's torso and limbs gives it a bulkier, more box-like appearance, however, as do the considerably larger cannons on its arms. The large sword that constituted one of the original model's primary forms of attack has also been foregone, but its replacement is no less imposing. A full five pairs of smaller GN particle cannons are spread across the suits surface, one cannon on each shoulder, two more on each arm, and finally four on its back. Finally, two heavy-duty protective shields are attached to the suit's sides, ready to be switched in in place of the arm cannons as necessary.

All in all, the Alice looks more like a small fortress on legs than a conventional mobile suit, making it a foreboding sight to say the least. The base armor is of a slightly duller and darker, grayish hue than the standard white of the third generation suits, almost entirely concealed beneath the bulk of the midnight blue extra plating, the same color repeating itself with only slight variations of shade on the shields and bazooka, though a number of joint pieces and the traditional angled brow shape are colored a dark purple instead. The cannons barrels, true to their strictly utilitarian role, have not been graced with a paint job and bear the simple, dull black of the metal they were forged from.

Gundam's Weaponry/Defense Mechanisms: The Alice is really best thought of as two separate entities. The main suit is designed for heavy bombardment, featuring additional defensive plating and two sizable arm shields for protection in addition to a GN Energy Shield system. A full-scale GN Bazooka constitutes its primary form of offense, supplemented by a pair of slightly lower-impact GN particle cannons. Two beam sabers are also available at the mech's sides, but given its poor mobility they are truly only there as a last resort and rarely see use in combat.

The secondary weapon system, and the one that sets the Alice aside from its peers, is the ten small, detachable cannons that constitute the suit's primary line of self-defense. Much like the Zwei's fangs, each cannon can be detached from the main suit and operated independently, but unlike the fangs they place more emphasis on self-protection that brute force. In place of the original's beam saber mode, each option is capable of generating its own weaker GN Shield, making them more resilient to opposing fire and allowing them to serve a supplementary role in blocking weaker projectile fire if necessary. However, because they can only leech off GN particles from the space around them - lacking the means to generate them - the detachable cannons will quickly run out of energy should they stray too far from the main suit. As such, the detachment attack is treated as the proverbial ace up the suit's sleeve, to be used only when the situation truly calls for it.

Though fairly impressive on their own, the full potential of these two systems is only realized when they are used in tandem, the smaller cannons maintaining a constant stream of fire to keep opponents at bay and pin them down for the finishing blow from the heavy armaments while the combined defensive systems deflect most attacks. Slowed down by the heavy armaments and defensive plating as it is, the Alice is far slower and less mobile than most Gundams, but what it lacks in this area it makes up for with superior endurance and firepower, making it ideal for bombardment and scattering enemy formations. Furthermore, due to the separation between the cannon and main gundam systems, the remote system, complete with its own cockpit, can be detached from the main suit should it need to be evacuated or requipped to another unit. Because the support unit is specifically designed with the Alice in mind, however, this is not an option that should be used lightly.

Gundam Type: Cannon/Heavy bombardment type, somewhere halfway between Virtue and Throne Zwei design-wise.
