When you hug the wolf statue you fuse together with it. Your body now emits a light blue glow.
 
I haven't used any of my actions yet, and I don't know how I'd do with the statues, but . . .

Guide Collector Elwood to the Bear Statue and push the two into a soft embrace.

You push collector Elwood up against the bear statue. Even after having seen it being unresponsive to his presence you continue to press his face into the cold stone.

A simple wooden door appears in the middle of the wastelands. The frame is a dark mahogany while the rest of it is made from birch. Opening the door only reveals the other side of the wasteland. On the actual door appears five symbols which read Belief. Understanding. Absolution. Deliverance. Acceptance. To each side of the door are 4 statues, 2 back to back on each side. On one side of the door the two statues consist of a dragon and a wolf, while on the other side there is an eagle and a bear, with the bear's back against the wolf and the eagle's against the dragons. The statues seem to be too heavy to move and putting pressure on the door seems to have even less of an effect. However you will find that in each of your pockets are a note, a hammer and a chisel.

You each have 3 actions to figure out how to open the door. This phase will be extended.​

And Gunner may have been onto something when she had that idea with players and statues. So if we place Lycan in front of the wolf statue, a snake in front of the dragon, and an eagle player in front of the eagle . . . I'm not sure who to put with the bear, though.

Belief. Understanding. Absolution. Deliverance. Acceptance.

Wolf. Dragon. Eagle. Bear.

We've had people fuse with the first two statues. Keep in mind that we have not yet found a proper use for the hammer and chisel, which were obviously given to us for a reason. The fusions will probably remove the Understanding seal. That leaves Absolution and Deliverance, and at least one of which involves the hammer and/or chisel in some way.
