Which gym leader do you like better?

for the 6th gym i thougt flying could still be steal but i prefer flying i mean the only time we had steel and ice we had them in that exact order we even had it like that last generation.
 
I wish the purple one was a Poison-Type leader... maybe for the elite four.

Wow... looks like Iris is a Dragon type Leader 0.0

I wonder how that would play out in the anime ?

So our Gym types so far are :

Grass/Water/Fire
Normal
Bug
Electric
Ground
????? - Possibly Poison or Psychic
Ice
Dragon ?

*Sigh* No Dark leader :( Maybe an E4 Will have Dark types :O
 

  • Green = Beetle Badge [Located in Hiun City]
  • Yellow = Bolt Badge / Gym Leader Kamitsure
  • Brown = Quake Badge / Gym Leader Yaakon [Located in Hodomoe City]
  • Purple = Jet Badge / Gym Leader Fuuro [Located in Fukiyosa City]
  • Blue = Icicle Badge / Gym Leader Hachike [Located in Sakka City]
  • Black = Legend Badge / Gym Leader Iris [Located in Souryuu City (Souryuu means blue dragon in Japanese)]
^ The names of the badges and the cities presumably, from PokeJungle.
Sadly not all of them though. D: I think we're missing the first trio, and Aloe.

So Iris is actually the final-ish Gym Leader? That threw me wayy off guard. Who would have thought they would take an anime heroine and turn her into the final gym leader. I understand the first or second, but the final ?! This is madness! I wonder if that applies to the anime as well.. but I dunno how you can be the final Gym Leader and keep your place with an unevolved Kibago. Speaking of, I think that means we have another dragon-type Gym Leader as our final. :/

This of course is assuming the images are real.

I think the images are real :/ someone got their BW early and has now posted their instruction booklet all over D:<

She won't keep Kibago all the way through, she'll evolve it, or she might not use it for the battle.

She'll also be the Gym leader in the anime, she may be new, but if she isn't won't everyone kinda recognize her ?

And you forgot to add the first part of your spoiler D:

As for the leaked Gym leaders, I'm guessing the coloured borders surrounding their pictures represents their speciality type?

If that's the case, we might have the Dark type leader everyone seems to long for, judging by the border surrounding the 8th Gym leader. Then again, she might specialise in Ghost type Pokemon.

My guesses for the Gym leader types:

Dento/The others: Monkey Trio (confirmed)
Aloe: Normal
3rd Gym: Grass
4th Gym: Electric
5th Gym: Rock
6th Gym: Psychic or Poison
7th Gym: Water
8th Gym: Dark or Ghost

I never imagined Iris as a gym leader. Pretty crazy. A bit sad to not even have a Ghost type one... but we had one last gen, so it's understandable. I can't wait to see the full artwork for the leaders!

I think you misused the word 'even' there.

I saw that update, but it isn't 100% confirmed yet. The fact that for the 5th Gym leader they have "Rock or Ground" doesn't convince me the information is legit. So I just put forward my guesses.

Gym Leaders aren't assigned in the anime... You could fight Giovanni first in the anime if you wanted... The order in the games reflects Ash's journey...

1st - Grass/Fire/Water (We Know This)
2nd - Normal (We Know This)
3rd - Bug (Beetle Badge...)
4th - Electric (Bolt Badge...)
5th - Rock/Ground (Quake Badge...)
6th - Psychic (Jet can mean Celestial Objects + Purple Color)
7th - Ice (Icicle Badge...)
8th - Dark/Dragon (Souryuu could mean Destroy and Kill or Blue Dragon + Black Color)

This means this is the 3rd game in a row (DPPt/HGSS/BW) with Ice as 7th gym and if 8th is Dragon thats the 2nd game in a row with Dragon as 8th (HGSS/BW)

Pretty sure I didn't.

As for the gym leaders, I figured they were pretty much confirmed since its all been translated and posted on the big sites. Highly doubt they'd post this stuff up if they thought it was not legit.
 
Well when I hear the Badge names I would have to guess that they are:

Bug
Electric
Ground
Flying (Ignoring the fact that the color is purple, since I don't think that part actually matters.)
Ice
Dragon

Well that certainly backs up my theory of Fuuro being a Flying-type leader. xD
 
So many things to be said, where do I start.

Well I never expected Iris to be a Gym Leader, to the very least the final one, so Shimama gave me a shock there. XD; /lame pun
Anime-wise that makes Ash be partnered with two Gym Leaders unless otherwise, the storyline for the anime is different. Anyway it adds up since Kibago is her most noticed pokémon as seen and she'll most likely be the Dragon type Gym Leader since Souryuu means "blue dragon" and well, the rest is self-explanatory.

DPPt had a family relation with Roark and Byron. Considering the similarity between Iris and Aloe, it makes me wonder if those two will share any family relation. Though it seems out of place if Iris is to be the final gym leader.

Other than Iris, the female Gym Leader that is supposedly specializing in Electric types reminds me of Cynthia a bit. .-.

...Seeing as there is no Dark type gym leader, I'm going to guess that he/she will probably be placed in the Elite Four.

She does? But you can't even see her whole face. :P Either way though, I wouldn't mind. I loved Cynthia, so a character resemblance wouldn't be a problem for me.:cer_boogie:
 
Lol, serious cowboy dude looks sweet. I don't mind the gym types, but 7th for Ice again? :/ Yeah, Iris being a gym leader is quite a surprise. I wonder if they'll follow her supposed storyline in the anime. Who's the gym leader when she's away? Anyways, from the small portraits I like what I'm seeing. Ice guy looks sorta like a ninja, and the flying girl looks like she has a flower on her head, lol. Electric girl looks she has cable coming down from her hair. ;) With all the fighting types I definitely thought there'd be gym leader for it, but I guess it's reserved for the E4.
 
Kanto_Johto, long ago you flamed Volroc for saying Aloe might use Dark types.

You sir are a hypocrite, in your post before you said, you think Iris would be either Dark or Ghost typed. Which is the same thing. So for that I'm gonna say this.
GF Won't make her have Dark types for obvious reasons.

And her type is Dragon. So... Yeah
