Oh wow... when GameFreak said they wanted to level the playing field, they didn't just bring in the bulldozers they just dynamited everything. Three Pokemon for the Gym Leaders?

I'm getting the feeling that Generation V isn't going to be a long generation, and Nintendo is just preparing us for Gen VI on the 3DS.

Kinda off-topic: I've decided that Kamitsure is awesome. A theme took shape pretty fast. O_O

More on-topic: Above; I absolutely agree. The Gym Leader teams could be way more original and awesome like Kamitsure's, for example.
Perhaps they're saving the interesting teams for the rematches, or the third version? :P

I don't think Gym rematches are in the game :/

I think they could of gave them more Pokemon and higher levels

I was somewhat disappointed with the first gym, but I guess you can say it's better than the previous generations', because it actually had a puzzle. XD

Yeah, I was looking forward to Iris. But I wanted to get Black (at least, right away) but she may actually turn me around to white. But do the gym leaders have their artwork out yeat? I look forward to drawing them.

I think it is crap that the gym leaders only have a max of 3 m pokemon. I can tell B/W will be the easiest games so far.


EDIT: WTF the Ice Gym leader has an Icicle badge which is the same name as Candice's badge! Aren't they always meant to be different?

the thing with the badges is that the first ice badge was called ice badge in japanese so they renamed it glacier badge.

Now the second ice badge was called glacier badge in japanes (i think) so they had to rename that one aswel in the US version.

You may wish that, but I think the gym types we have already are pretty good. Though, that isn't saying that there won't be a new gym in the third game (because hey, these games are apparently revolutionary) that is actually dark type. Pluuuus you can't expect Game Freak to be creative with every aspect! ...or can you? XD

Seeing how they're throwing the gym leaders in all possible directions in these games, I think Nica has a big point.
