Bah, the order of the gyms don't really matter to me. Not quite sure I like the gimmick they have going with the first gym, but I also won't care too much either.

Iris isn't the 8th gym leader for White according to PokeBeach. Instead, the people with White will get an old man!

Wow. Just. Wow.

I wonder why this has happened... hmm. Maybe something to do with young vs old, natural vs man-made, so it's like ying/yang with everything in the games? idk.

... and of course I got White version. -sigh-
I wanted to battle Iris, not a dinky old guy. D:

I love the concept of the yin-yang in the final gym leader, but why? Did it have to be like that? It's really lame to people who get White I'd say.
I'm sure they would rather battle Iris.

There is the chance that Iris could have another role in the game instead of gym leader, same for the old man. Either way, leaving out Iris for the White players is sort of pointless, so there has to be some sort of sub-plot there.
 
There isn't a dark type gym, is there? I'd want one. Pity.

Also, Iris is a gym leader? Cool.
 
There is no Dark Type Leader in this game. And Iris is Gym Leader only in Black. Shaga is the 8th Gym Leader in White.
 
Maybe the dude is her Dad? haha xDD so i guess he's the Gym leader in the Anime hhaha

pfft it's whatever i'm getting both games so i'll just have to fight them both
it's unique that they did this haha it's like no matter what game you get or starter you pick
the game will be different each time you play it... i guess that's what they were going for

What?! Even version exclusive gyms? ):
I hope they'll atleast have some place like the Resort Area and stuff so you can rebattle and do bonus battles. ;-;.
 
I like the old dude better then iris, i didnt like her in the first place.
However... kamitsure!!! definitely the best leader so far, i cant w8 to see what pokemon she has. :/ they should have put her as a 7th leader.
Event exclusive gyms, yeey. This should be a gen to remember.
 
The gym badges are weird in abad way IMO . They look way too long. And the second badge is just a long plank...... How boring.

The gym leaders do sound good however.

If I do get white I dont want the ugly old dude as they final gym leader. I WANT IRIS. She is the main character in the Isshu anime so why is she the final gym leader in only one game and the other game gets some random oldie?

IMO iris looks so dull and not interesting, the old dude looks mysterious.
 
Yeah but Iris is like a major character in the anime and games. It isn't fair that black gets like the main character as the gym leader and White gets a random dude.

What will they do in the anime, have Iris or the old dude as the leader. And I wonder why they made two different gym leader. I don't like that concept :(
 
Iris is the 8th Gym Leader? What a surprise. I was also surprised that she was exclusive to one version and some other guy in another. Let's hope they don't have the same Pokemon.

I remember this as well. I wonder if they'll have some sort of storyline connection in both versions.

For those who are confused about what I'm talking about:

They are said to be talking about the legendary dragons. Which makes sense seeing as they are both a dragon Gym Leader for the 8th gym. Not sure to what role they share with each other but I have a strong guess its mainly about dragons. I think Iris and him will have a short role together to where there is an occurence about Reshiram and Zekrom.

One person here mentioned that they would hope for them to have different pokémon. If you recall back in Emerald, it was the same thing for the last Gym Leader as well. Instead of Wallace being there, they had Juan. I'm pretty sure they had the same pokémon though. I'm also hoping that Iris will have different dragon types from his. It'll make the two have a different challenge exclusive.

I am trying to think of what other pokemon the three brothers would have besides their signature monkey, but I cannot seem to think of it.
 
I think the gym leaders look good other than Iris, as she doesn't really look that good and for some reason, I prefer the older gym leaders, probably because in fan fictions and manga's, they normally are important in the storyline and have interesting backgrounds, like blaine was a member of team Rocket in Adventures and Pryce was the masked man, so I like the old guy is better than Iris.
