"Errr, I'm... I mean..." I said, still staring. It was the fact that the 'boy' was staring at me that got my attention. I instantly flushed, and looked up. "I wasn't, well, uh, like this." I explained, with a gesture towards my now very eye-catching figure, still blushing.
 
I blushed a deep red as I helped the girl up to her feet. "Uhh...You sure you'll be alright?" I asked as I looked at her curves trying to pull my eyes away. I turned my head away and looked up to the sky as to not have my attention on her figure.
 
"Err, I'll be fine." I said, finding myself staring at the guy for a moment. Then I sharply shook my head. "What am I thinking?" I thought to myself. "I'm not like that, then again, my figure isn't like this..." I trailed off, and looked back at the others. "Does anyone have the slightest idea as to what's going on?"

I yawed, looking at the river to our right. Hmm? might as well cross? I stretched my arms forward and turned to the group.

After retreating into the corner, he couldn't exactly figure out what had happened. Someone had managed to catch him by surprise, and made him unconscious.
When he woke up, he was in a room with some other... contest winners? Following their example, he proceeded to use the goggles on the other side of the room. The immediate results were very surprising.
For one, the resolution was extremely good. He was willing to bet that this was not just the result of visual imput, but direct feeding into the sensory parts of the brain.
And his character was available. The one that he had spent so long working on. It was in fact a direct contrast to his actual self, being large, bulky where he was mainly a scrawny kid.
In fact, it felt good to be able to experience what it was like to use this armour.

But there was something else.
A little jolt, like an electric current, had managed to seriously annoy him. He fell to one knee, and wondered what the heck that was. There seemed to be a shadow rushing from some cover nearby.
Were they under attack from something?

As was his habit, he muttered under his breath to himself (the only problem being that what he thought was under his breath was actually quite loud).

-Did anyone notice anything strange passing by? I could have sworn I saw a shadow in that direction... I'm getting out of this place now.

OOC: The effect of the virus on my character is to hallucinate ghostly figures.
 
The flow of time around me felt like it had stopped. I was panting heavily now, and a sharp pain ran down my spine, forcing me to support myself up with my staff. To my suprise, the staff disappeared for some reason, leaving me to hit the ground with a thud. I shivered slightly before getting up, and wondering what the heck was going on.
 
OCC-- Ish... ;-; This RP ish going to fast~~~ Short posty before I go to school. =3 Tell me if I'm doing anything wrong because I dont have a clue at the moment.

IC-- Itoko put a hand on her pounding head. What was going on~? They had only just entered The World, and strange things were already happening. Itoko had had headaches before, migraines even, but this one seemed to be the worst yet. She was beginning to feel dizzy, and soon enough she found her self on the ground.
"Ow..." she said, quickly regaining her balance. "That hurt..."
 
I suddenly felt dizzy, falling to the cobbled ground, I looked around, panting and sweating. Wait, how did you sweat in a game? That was rather... unusual. I was starting to get a bad vibe from this palce.

"I want to go home..." I mumbled. I was already homesick and I was eriously beginning to fear this palce... I stood up and looked around. Apparantly the others were having similar dizzy spells as me. Then the next thing happened, my ears changed for a moment .They morphed into cat ears before going back to normal...

"Going home?" I asked, the words sounding strange, even though I was still emberassed by the stare's and comments. "Yeah, let's do that." I said, though I wasw a bit unsure of how to log out of a VR unit. "Errr, would anyone happen to know how?" I asked, blushing deeper with the confession that I had no idea.
 
Yume-chan felt a short dizzy spell as well, her eyes were like sprouting fireworks.
After the dizziness has passed away, she suddenly felt a strange urge... an urge to see blood and pain.

Scared of her own cruelity, she tried to pay attention to the girl asking, 'Who knows how to get out of here?"

"I want to get out too... I don't feel so good..." Yume said quietly, eyes flashing red momentarily.

Seven looked around at the area and at the characters. He noticed that his HP was still a little down from when he was playing on-line at home. He went for a potion, but.....

Seven: Wait a minute, I can't get my items! Are any of you having this problem too?
 
OOC: Mystic, where the heck are ya? oo;;

IC: "Is it just meow, or did it get a little chillier? I'm freezing!" I exclaimed, not understanding what had happened. "And whats with the pornstar over there?" What made the least sence, was that I couldn't feel the controller under my hand, and how my voice had changed...

I tilted my head to the side in confusion at the cat girl standing before us, this game was getting weirder by the moment, and the dizzy spells everyone had were enough to make me uneasy.

?this game has some glitches, obviously??
 
"What do you mean, pornsta-" I began angrily, but stopped when I saw 'him.' "Errr, Dai?" I asked calmly, looking at the catgirl in front of me who''s figure rivalled my new one. "Just why do you seem to be a catgirl?" I finished, still sounding calm, though I felt like I was about to have a breakdown...
 
(OOC: And here comes the glitch. Evil, ne? XD)

Waratah stopped to face the girl. "Hey, are you alright?" she asked, before running over to hold her up. She turned her head back towards the group of people for a moment, and then started to wonder what the heck was happening. Before she had a chance to ask, Waratah froze. In the real world, Violet noticed the sudden unmovability of her character, and became frantic.

"There's no use," Waratah giggled, in a sweeter voice than usual. "This body is mine now." Everyone's attention shifted towards her, as her original controller attempted to escape.

"How do I get out o--" Violet began to ask, until her body became motionless.

Back in The World, Waratah's giggles turned into high-pitched laughter that could quite easily make your ears ring.
 
"I'm not a Catgirl..." I muttered as I felt a little light-headed, and fell to the ground. "Nya, why is it so chilly all of a sudden!" Then, I heard sor of a high pitch laughter, that sent my the rest of the way to the ground in pain. Since when were my ears this sensitive?
 
I felt distorted for a moment, my body felt as if were going to collapse before me. I made my way to a small store front and supported myself against the hard rocky walls of the store. ?What?s?happening?? I muttered as breathing became near impossible and I fell to my knees. I tried to support myself on a small green chair next to me, but my body became heavy and I fell tot he ground before passing out.
 
?There has to be a glitch? and I cant log out.?
I though out loud, looking at Tempest. Something was going on, the contest must have been a lure to get us here? but why? At least my appearance hadn?t been altered, and I still felt the same. Ether way, there was no way out of here. I noticed that everyone was collapsing again.

?now what!? Hey are you guys okay??
 
Yume-chan stood, just watching the chaos unroll infront of her.

"What's going on?" she whispered, almost in awe. As she finished the sentence, she felt another dizzy spell washing over her. Yume-chan's eyes flashed red, and she felt an unresistable urge to see blood... destruction... pain...

Her wings spread open and she dashed off.

Drake looked over at Hotaru and started to speak.

Drake: I can't log out either. And I can use any of my items I've got.
