FireRed hack: [Hack of the Year 2009] Pokémon: Azure Horizons

Welp, was really enjoying this hack but I got to Tundra HQ and it hard crashes my game in every emulator that I've tried. Not sure how to proceed.
Hi, do you mind telling me what really made the game crashed? Did the game crashed when entering the HQ? Or there's a event which made the game crash? Because I didn't find anything wrong, so I hope you can tell me more about this, if possible, please send me the save file you have, that way it will be easier to spot what went wrong. Thanks.

Hi, sorry for the late reply. I converted the save file to .ips if that works.Note I've been playing this hack on my Anbernic 34XX through Retroarch emulators MGBA, GBSP, and VBAM. I haven't been able to open my saved game on PC somehow, can't figure out how to get Retroarch emulators/MGBA to read my save file from my 34XX.

What happens in GBSP and VBAM is that when entering Tundra HQ in the ice route is that the screen just goes immediately black and freezes. With MGBA it enters and loads the area, but the framerate goes to like 1fps and then after taking a couple steps it warps me to a black screen in the lighthouse. I can record videos if that would help. Thanks.

I can't seem to make this save file work, I even tried to change its file name to .sav, but nothing worked. Also, may I ask one question? Did you patch the .ips file to a clean 1636 Fire Red v1.0 Squirrels(U) rom? Because this patch is based off this rom.

Ah that might be the problem, I used the standard 1.0 FireRed rom. Wonder if my save data is just screwed now and can't work on the correct version of firered.
