Okay, so while I am waiting for the OverWorld sprites from Nicolas, I got bored so I decided to continue with scripting Chapter 3 of the LoG story.
So yah, I am done scripting the 5th Gym Leader.

Also, here's a screen of the updated 3rd Gym Leader script.

Oh, and by the way, I haven't scripted the 4th Gym Leader yet.
But it may be possible that you won't be playing beta 2, but beta 3, if I can finish scripting all events in Chapter 3 of the story...

Also, I will be busy today though, so I guess that's all for now.

First of all, what do you mean by using faces as sprites? I didn't get that bit.
Anyway, I'd prefer more Pokemon than limited Pokedex. However, just for this sake, restarting the entire game is really not worth it.

By faces, I meant the ones ~Watermelon(but I will still be calling you IC or TS) had posted and so as the ones in this update.

Are you going to replace the Gym Leader's sprites and pics? And the Gym tiles?

i think u should back-up LOG 1st,then i think you should insert the national pokedex
if you're under alot of stress then go back to hacking the original LOG

Hey, maybe you could... modify which pokes are included in the regional dex, because you're probably under pressure about which pokes you should have and which will have to be left out. And you probably won't need all that space for faces. But extending the Dex MIGHT require ASM or HEX or that stuff...

I have been truly in the best mood of ROM Hacking since yesterday. Dunno why though. :\

Are you going to replace the Gym Leader's sprites and pics? And the Gym tiles?

Gym Leaders' OW, Trainer and Face sprites will remain the same.
Though I am thinking of using some F/R Gym Leader sprites, but no so sure at the moment.
And about the tiles, if you mean the interior tiles, then that won't be changed for the time being.

Spriting and tiles and anything related to graphics are my weak points, though... I got no talent on those, sadly... :\

Okay, so I was beta testing LoG until I came across a major bug.
The early flags set in the game have reset after I go out from Low Point Path's map.
I have concluded that the large amount of scripts and persons there have caused the bug, as it had caused the same bug while I was testing the Freezing Script.

So to cure it, I had to remove the Freezing Scripts for the time being, and inserted some script tiles to set the flags which were resetted(note: not a word)...

After my beta testing, I will probably run another beta test to check the game once more. I'll then be trying to insert the Freezing Script once again and see if my theory is correct.

Until then, please give me your thoughts about the Freezing Script.., whether if I should put it in the game or not.
The Freezing Script truly is annoying and thus, slows your progress in the game, though... :\

I'd say you put the Freeze script in. But if you cannot resolve this bug then drop it. Overall, the Freeze script would be real fun so yeah, I'd like it ^^
