Also, just saying that SquallLion90 has a Blissey caught in a Masterball... >_< Either he hacks, or he caught a very bad wild Chansey with...Aromatherapy...

That's proof enough in my opinion.
 
I'm not backing up Itachi/MarrilandOwningPeeps at all, especially since I was requested to back him up over PM when I knew nothing of this :/

I do know he did pokesav his entire team which doesn't fly with me because it's no fair to honest breeders who breed 5 months for HP Ice on Vileplume (cough sims cough) but most people disagree with me so meh.

He did admit over PM he pokesav'd his team so I'm not exactly in the mood to be backing him up. In fact I'm on the accuser's side in all honesty.

Really hacking to speed things up is lazy :/ I bred HP Ghost Tauros for 3 months in Emerald so I'm not really sympathetic about how little time you have to breed.

Or that's the way I see it, if that helped at all.

Exactly. I have Pokesav, but I breed myself. If I can, others surely can. It took me 4 months to breed my pride and joy HP FIGHTING Spiritomb. That requires 5 perfect IV's of 31/x/30/30/30/30. Even with speeding things up by checking the IV's of eggs, it still took 4 months. That is why I don't like people who pokesav a team in 2 seconds and have flawless pokemon with the Perfect Hidden Power type. The only thing I have done that I shouldn't is I occasionally make some pokemon Shiny with Pokesav, but only my faves. :D

Again, while this thread was to report abusive hacks (perfect IVs, etc.), I think any hack should be infracted now that I think again because things like balls have been used to discover hacked Pokémon and because any form of hacked Pokémon has always been disallowed in the community. Yes, MarrilandOwning needs to get infracted for using hacked Pokémon without having agreed that before the battle.
 
Well I know a few people who use pokesav, and because they use it to alter data isn't that hacking?

In fact, yes, but normally what is reported here are hacks with abnormal stats, moves, abilities, etc. You can still report people who battle with hacks without having said so if you can see something odd (the ball it's caught in, for example).
 
But please ask the person before hand. I was accused by Sabaku No Gaara of hacking because when a Bronzor I gave him evolved, the nickname was removed back to Bronzong. This was only because I nicknamed the pokemon with Pokesav, and didn't check the "Nickname" box. It wasn't hacked, but I simply saved time by giving it a nickname in Pokesav rather than flying to Eterna City.

Basically, at least tell the person or give them some sort of warning before you post, give them a chance to defend themselves.

hey I didnt hacvk the seteelix I got i t from a friend I watched him catch it and he only used a code or somethign to get cherich balls and do nothign else I watched him do it so I promise its not a hack he used cherish balls cause he thought they looked cool I promise

Since it's a regular Steelix, you are receiving 2 points only. Still, next time, don't use Pokémon like this or at least specify it before battling.

I'm sorry if this has already been answered, I didn't want to read all the pages looking for it, if it has been answered I suggest editing the original post to include this in the rules.

I wanted to know what you consider hacked. Anything hacked is off limits, even if it has legit stats, moveset, etc. or just thingies like Wondertombs and 999 stat pokemon?

Technically, ALL hacks, legit or not, aren't allowed here for battle or trade. However, if we cannot tell it's a hack, there is no real problem. Say you made a poke with legal stats, movesets, & abilities. You can be smart & keep your yap shut, & we'll never notice. But if they are noticable, a rookie might think any hack is bad, and report. Most likely if they are legal but noticably hacked (Like a Sceptile in a Master Ball) people won't report, although they have a right to. I might report, since I go by this theory--if your gonna hack, hack right,. Don't make it noticable.
 
No, not entirely. Hacking is still illegal, whether it's hacked fair or not, and will still get you infracted.

But, most people here don't care, as long as you hack fairly. You take a risk when using a hacked poke, so be careful. If you hack with proper stats, movesets, etc, we shouldn't even notice in the first place unless you go about shouting it out to everyone. For all I know, I probably battled some hacked pokes, but didn't notice. But if you hack with unfair stats, movesets, etc, you will get in trouble.

Also, as said, don't make it obvious. For instance, all pokes shiny, in the wrong balls (In a Cherish Ball, a starter/poke with a breeding move in anything but a Pokeball), can get you in trouble, as it has happened earlier. Some people won't mind, as it may still have fair stats, etc. But some won't be as forgiving. Like me, to be honest. As I said, if ya do something wrong, do it right.
 
I mean, if you so hack, make sure we can't notice. They aren't allowed, but if we can't tell, no harm.

Sorry, I try to hack with honor. At least if there is such a thing, lol!
 
You know what I meant. I explained the rules, and the risk. I've also explained the views of most of te battlers here on this site. If you wanna take it out of content, go right ahead.
 
So if we battle a person that uses non noticable hacks, and legit in the fact they dont have anything unfair like perfect evs ivs and what not...

And in a trade we find the only problem is that say it's in the wrong location or something not battle noticable...
so then we report them? O.o
