Hair dye!

♦ If so, what color(s)? If not, why not?
♦ If you had to dye your hair a different color right this second or face horrible consequences, what color would you chose?

As for me:

♦ Yep! I wanted to for the longest time as a kid and finally did it the summer before I went to college. I kept it up while I was still in school, stopped for awhile, and finally did it again tonight!
♦ I stick to various shades of auburn. It's something different but not too different, and I like to think it looks good on me. :) Right now it's a darker auburn. Sooo pretty. <3
♦ Basically, a lighter auburn, perhaps strawberry blond or a bit redder than that. It's what I wanted to do for the looongest time as a kid because my favorite main character ever had orange hair but I decided not to once I started because I was afraid I'd look awful with it. If that's not different enough, then black, although it'd probably look weird on me too.

Yeah. I've done it a couple times. Three times my whole life.
Blond once (it was supposed to be red) black once, and once black with green streaks.
Probably dark blue. Kinda like Knives in Scott Pilgrim.

I guess I just never had the urge to. Probably won't consider it for a long while yet, either.

Red. Probably a shade of brown (reddish-brownish)? I won't want to change my hair too much from what it is now.

Oh yesss, I love doing my hair! Except it's naturally black, so i'm limited with what I can dye it because going even a shade lighter hurts like hell.

I've gone medium brown, which is the lightest i've gone with my hair one color. I've also had pretty much every shade of blonde and red imaginable as highlights. I recently had a ton of my hair lightened so I could get red streaks, but they came out bright pink which looked really cool actually. Then they faded to strawberry blonde, and I miss those. I dye my hair back to all black whenever I want something simple.

If I had to now I would want to try some kind of dark blonde and brown mix.

A red that's brighter than this one 'cause you can't really see it unless you're in certain lights. DX

Yes I have dyed my hair with temporary dye before.

I dyed it Green one year and Blue another for Halloween. Then used Blue on another occasion just to be a idiot.

Since my hair supposedly Dirty Blond which is a mix between Blond and Brown I would go with either of those colors.

I have only dyed my hair once, and it was for Halloween in High School. I was Mary-Jane Watson, so I dyed my hair auburn.

I have naturally dark brown hair and it would not want to do it again. I love my natural hair colour. When my hair goes grey, I will start dying it, but for now, no way.

Nope, but I've always wanted to try it. My hair color is painfully ordinary. :/

I haven't done it yet for a number of reasons. Up until last week my hair was really long and frizzy and I couldn't do much with it, and besides, I haven't felt like dropping $20 just to mess with my hair color.

Probably a dark auburn. I've been told I'd look really good with blonde hair, but... that's not really me.

Yeah and I love it. Right now I have my natural colour with a peek-a-boo blue coming out from underneath. I make sure to maintain it because blue is a pretty hard colour to keep nice and I hate when people make it go a yellowy-green.

I'm going to be keeping it like this for a while :3 Everyone loves it and says it suits me so.. yeah <3

Partially because, while I've thought about it, I've just never acted on it. Quite lazy. Partially because I'd probably have my sister do it and after seeing her totally butcher her friends hair, turning it bleach blonde when she was just trying to "lighten it up a bit" there is no way she will go near my hair.

I'd go darker, brownish with maybe a little red.

Dark brown. It's not too far off from my natural color (ash brown) and it looks good.

I have to say, I don't really like dying my hair. It's bad for my hair and it doesn't feel right to me. Natural ash brown fits me.

Yes, of course. I've been coloring my hair occasionally since 7th grade.
♦ If so, what color(s)? If not, why not?
From 7th grade til like 9th grade, I used to put blonde streaks/highlights in it. I regret those days; it looks terrible looking back on it. After 9th grade, I colored it blue, but..it wound up fading out. I stopped coloring for a while, but then, in my senior year, I started coloring my hair again. I went with browns, and they looked a lot more natural on me. I get my hair colored every few months.
I'm really in need of a new color. My stylist is always booked when I come to town, though. ;-;

Dark brown, of course. Preferably between a 2 and a 4 on the scale of brown. n_n;

The only full dye I've done (and I kept it up for three years) was red. :) I kinda miss it now; I'm covered in blond highlights. XD;

I want to go a very Dark Brown color.

It would be Black, but most stereotypical people think if you have Black hair your Emo/Goth. I wouldn't go another color like; Purple, Red, Orange, Green ect. I would go Blonde :D I love Blonde's ~ Although I still want Brown

I have such dark hair that I could never dye it and have it turn out okay without damaging it and that's not something I want to do. But if I had to pick a color and keep it for a while I'd go with something in the red/auburn area because that's the only shade that's significan't different that is still natural and not blonde. No offense to all you fair-haired beauties, but blonde isn't for me.

Nope, I've never dyed my hair, I really don't plan on dying it. I love my natural brown colour a lot, even if I've ever denied my brown hair colour, I love it. But if I did dye my hair, which is likely, I'd do small highlights or something that really isn't that adventurous at all. (I don't even properly know what highlights are. XDDD) But, I know I'd stay brown in the process.

I dyed it bright, bright yellow from my usual dark brown back in like 5th grade because I wanted to look more like Eminem.

A lighter shade of brown, maybe slightly lighter than Justin Bieber's for reference.
