Harry Potter!Yay! [SPOILERS]

I couldn't wait. I'm paranoid about spoilers since this is the last book and I wanted to see the story through to the end by reading it for myself. So I wanted to get the book and finish it as soon as possible. xX;

I coulda met Chibi-chan if I'd gone to the party at Barnes and Nobel ;o;

I still need it, but I dont sit down and just READ like other people. I'll go like 14 pages a day XD

Yesterday night, I was out around 12:00 AM with my dad and it's friend and then, on are way back home, we see a HUGE line of people in front of a Book Store. They wher waiting for 1:00 AM to buy the Harry Potter Book... ^^'

I'm not really the type of person to line up for a book/game or whatever at midnight. But last night I tagged along with my friends to town to go and get it at 12. There was quite a big line and we were waiting for about an hour before we managed to get the book, I got home about 4am (I went to a friend's house after getting the book XD). I haven't read any of it yet, mainly because I want to finish the half blood prince which I started a couple of days ago. D:

I got it !
Since I live in france there's less crowd than in English-speaking countries because the French version of the book is to come up in October only. I've bought the book this morning and I am currently reading chapter twelve.

I can help you with the French words Fleur and her relatives say, just ask and I'll do my best to translate, and since I study German I'm also gonna translate the few German sentences that are said in chapter 11 or 12.
"Er wohnt hier nicht mehr" -> He no longer lives here.
"Das weiss ich nicht" -> I don't know that.
That was German. I forgot about what's said in French, so just ask.
(Yay, I am a Mary-Sue... I quite enjoy being French ^^)

Ok, i've finished reading it..
so, its 607 pages.
Dont read the last line in the book, or you will stuff your self up so much... i swear...

here is what i think is the list of deaths:
Spoiler:

Dont open this spoiler unless you really wanna spoil it for your self:
Spoiler:

I'm most likely getting mine tomorrow, since I live in a small town and our bookstore is either Wal-Mart or the library. :/

I'm probably gonna stay up all night reading it, and worsening my already bad eyesight. xD

Please people, no spoilers without spoiler tags. I'm usually not so uptight about spoilers but this is the last book of Harry Potter, and I will not be a happy camper if the whole book is revealed to me.

Ok, this is especially directed to you then natsumi...
Dont read the last line xD I swear. If anyone wants to check if it ends with the word 'scar'

About the ending with scar:
Spoiler:

JK makes this book heaps dramatic in the middle somewhere, and by reading the last line... you will totally stuff it up xD
Have fun reading it~

Wow just got the book and I've read up to chapter 11 so far (200 pages flat). The story really, I mean, really picked up in the beginning!!

This book changed my impression of dumbledore, i'm sure it will do the same for many.
Also, i found this version (it is a fanfic) of the book, much more better:

I just finished reading the book and I agree with Ausaudriel, I myself like Dumbledore more now that I know he's human. I found it quite surprising that they'd reveal so much about Dumbledore's past in the last book.

The spoiler tags below contain spoiler about the ending so I suggest you don't read unless you've read the book.

Ok, I've finished reading the HP book and couldn't finish last night because I was too tired but finished in the early afternoon today. Overall, I thought this book was quite interesting and so much stuff happened but I thought the ending was really bad and J.K Rowling could have written it better. It almost seemed like she'd rushed through that a bit. And I thought the very last bit was quite cheesy. But at least we know what happened to them and who got together. I'll read the book again when I'm bored and when I forget what happens.

I finished yesterday afternoon. I quite liked the book. Not my favourite in the series, but it was a good end to a great series overall.

So...

lol xD
When i mean changed my view (about dumbledore), i dont mean negative, or positive... i just see him differently...
More cunning, more powerful, but all the way, still caring like what we knew of him before, it just added to his personality without changing him.

I didn't like the Dumbledore parts. I didn't want to know about his past. :\ He was my favourite character and I didn't like the idea of him being cast in a negative light at all. Nor did I like how he was "redeemed" to Harry near the end (probably my least favourite part of the book, not counting the epilogue). :| I wish they'd just left him alone. XD;

Stupid Rita Skeeter. I have seriously hated her throughout the whole series.

One thing that I don't get is why Hagrid, as huge as he is, didn't get hit by one Avada Kedavra?

I mean seriously, how bad are the Death Eaters aim?

Overall I thought this was the best book of them all, but then again I thought that about all of them when I finished. Anyway here are a few of my thoughts on the book. (If anyone cares)
