Harry Potter!Yay! [SPOILERS]

Seriously though. D: Poor Malfoy has a receeding hairline at the age of 36. *shot*

I think it'd be really awesome to have had a chapter which delved on the relationships between Scorpius, Hugo, Rose, Lily, James, Teddy, Victorie, Albus, (holy crap they had lot's of kids) and all the other kids. Or like, a chapter of them at Hogwarts or something. Would've been interesting. :< [/or maybe a whole 'nother book.]
 
I don't mind that she didn't really talk about them. It keeps the fandom happy, since when a character is married with kids, it gets harder to ship them with other people and such. But...now they all have kids, so people can write the rest on their own via fanfiction and stuff, I guess. XD;
 
I was watching the news and they were talking about Harry Potter and then my friend called me. Then she spoiled the whole DARNED THING FOR ME!! So I just read all the spoilers and didn't care.

One question that I've been thinking after finishing is, if I was the seventh Horcrux, would I be brave enough to kill myself?

I think I would've done it. Since, you know there would be an after life, seeing as ghosts were flying around and everything.

Another question is, what was your favorite Horcrux?
I like Nagini. How Voldemort only cared for it because it was him, though is a little disturbing.
 
That was a pretty good explanation. I was kind of dissapointed, because I had wanted to know if Harry became an Auror. But now I know :). Yay

But I am not about to rule out the possibility of another book. I think J.K. want to write another, because she is as in love with this series as teh fans it seems. I actually sat an thought about what could constitute another HP book:
-Harry's kids' own adventures of Hogwarts
-A resurgence of Death Eaters trying to bring back a dark empire, and Harry, Ron and Hermione have to team up one last time to stamp it out
-A prologue to the first book, telling about Harry's parents and their own stories a little more in-depth
 
About time i posted in here. I finished the book on Sunday after staying up all night to read it. I didn't like the ending with everything being perfect for everyone. I knew that Snape was going to be good and not evil. It was obvious.
I don't want them her to write a new book. I think it should be left with the ending it has.

She'll be writing a Harry Potter "encyclopedia" at some point. It won't be another book, but it'll give more information on the series as a whole. She wants to take a break before working on it though, so it might be a long wait. XD

Yeah no problem also i just saw a commercial on nbc i think that there going to show idk an interview with j.k. this sunday at 7 and i think shes going to say more about what happens after the book.
 
No, I definitely feel more than an encyclopedia for teh future. Eventually she's going to start to feel empty without this series to keep her going and will want to make another.
 
She has said she doesn't want to continue the series, though. I hope she writes different things; as great as the HP books were, it would be an awful fate to be linked solely to that. I wouldn't mind if she branched out and tried other genres, or at least worked on something completely unrelated. She's a creative person with a very imaginative mind and I don't want to see that consumed by Harry Potter for the rest of her career. :\
 
I got it at BILO (yes BILO) for 22 dollars. I read the epilouge first. Who wants to here a spoiler?
 
^^ I feel as if J K Rowling will write another book... it seems sorta likely with the type of ending that she left us with. Harry hasn't died yet and that means the Elder Wand can still be used...

Hedwig's meant to be Harry's invincible friend....
 
yeah she probably will right another book. it most likly won't be about harry. she ended the book, i think, really well. theres not much left to add to his story though. it might be about his kids though.
 
Actually I heared that Rowling is going to continue to write the harry potter encyclopedia. Which will solve any more cracks that she didn't fill in. So technically she is going to write a new book. But like she said she doesn't have any plans for any new books so we may have to wait a few years before she completes plot writing and then wait a few more after that for the actual book to come out. I know how tedious it is to create a completely new plot so we have to hope that Rowling does want to create a new book
 
The death of one character made me start to tear up.

That was Dobby, the incredible house-elf. Nothing can surpass his bravery.
 
id have to agree on that one. that and then lupin and tonks. i had a hard time not crying when i read that fred was gone. it was hard. this book by far had the most deaths. rip all that were lost.
