Harry Potter!Yay! [SPOILERS]

What's really stupid is that everything is perfect. I mean, are the other harry potter books perfect at the end? NO

Dude, the Elder wand was just anotehr interesting thing in teh Potter series. The whole series is based upon sudden twists and new and amazing magical items. Think about it:
Book 1- Sorceror's Stone/Invisibility Cloak
Book 2- Riddle's Diary
Book 3- Hippogriffs? Not really one for this book
Book 4- "Twin wands"
Book 5- Prophecy
Book 6- Horcruxes
Book 7- Deathly Hallows

It's not out of the ordinary at all, it just goes with the flow of the series.

and xXscytherXx, agreed about Dobby. That was teh most apinful death for me too, especially because Harry had his sort of epiphany during the whole thing too. Dobby was one fo my favorite characters the whole series, seeing him die was almost too much.

Um, that's because this is the end of the series. It wouldn't be a very good series if every book gave a final closure. You wouldn't want to read the next book if you already knew everything was fine.

For the third book, it could be the Time Turner. The ending wouldn't have come about without it.

Did anyone else take Lupin and Tonk's death by shock? I was reading really fast through this part but I could've sworn it said that they looked like they were sleeping. So when Harry later talked about their bodies I was confused and shocked at the same time. ><

Lupin and Snape deserved better deaths. Especially Lupin. They just kinda cut him out behind the scenes.

Lupin and Tonks' deaths were the ones that hit me the hardest for the whole book. I mean, it just wrenched my poor little heart. DD: Their poor kid had to grow up without his parents, just like Harry did. But in the book when Harry first sees their bodies, he describes them as looking so peaceful, it's like they're sleeping. But the fact that they were placed next to Fred meant they were dead. DX I figured one of them would end up dying, but I didn't think they've both go. D:

Oh yeah, I had forgotten the time-turner. I wonder why that never came about that much after that book? If you think about it, that could have been really useful for Harry when he was doing some of his quests. And maybe it could have brought back Hedwig, and Dobby, and Fred, and Lupin and Tonks. They should have thought of that!

Hermioned gave it back after the third year because she decided to drop some courses to even out her timetable. But then in the fifth book when Harry and his DA are fighting the Death Eaters in the Ministry HQ, they accidentally smash the case that held all the time turners. :x

Hm, I should really read this series again. I actually got out all my books and put them side-to-side the other day, and was like, "Hey, I should read this whole series again"

Like I was reading Deathly Hallows and I had totally forgotten about some of the stuff that they were referencing throughout the book (and there were what seemed like 100000000 references in that book)

I didn't want to be confused or anything while reading the last book, so I read the rest of the books before it came out. ^^; That's why I remember so much, 'cause it's still fresh on my mind. x_x; I hadn't even read HBP again after getting it, so I'd forgotten quite a bit before my refresher.

Read the Deathly Hallows. I'm honestly not as much as a fan as my father is.

Mm, by the way guys, most of the questions I had were answered in an interview recently. It's a long read, but you find out a lot from it. The transcript is here.

That is long... but certainly answers quite a lot of things. This could prompt a new book with enough pleading!! xDD

Yes, I am bumping.

What is with Rowana Ravenclaw's tiara? I thought you couldn't gain knowledge by magical means? Or am I thinking of another series.

I pre-ordered my copy for $17.95 @ Overstock.com and got it on the day it came out. Began to read it Saturday and finished it on Sunday. Shortly after the fifth book came out, J. K. hinted she might do another book after the seventh. We shall have to wait and see.
