2nd Gen Have you beaten Red?

killed his entire team with level 71 Typhlosion. His moveset was Earthquake, Thunder Punch, Fire Punch, and Flamethrower, as well as alot of Vitamins (carbos, protein etc.)

i completly obiliterated him with my level 100 Scizor/DIZZI

I beat him...After using the Lv.70 Lugia I caught...The strongest I got was a Lv.55 Feraligatr. :<
So it took forever.
Can you battle him again?

Yeah, just like the Elite Four.

I owned Red with a Typlosion on lv 58 and a lugia on lv 55 Snorlax helped to!

yea i beat red in crystal. once i got pass his pikachu it was super easy.

Yeah i beat Red in Crystal. He was kinda easy at the beginning, but then he gets serious.

Think you're good? I sweeped his team with just a level 100 feraligatr. Ice Punch, Slash, Crunch, and Surf. Either that...or switch Crunch for Hydropump...I was 7 at the time...lol.

The first time I played Gold version, I didn't have a manual or anything, so I had no idea what was in store for me. I wondered if I just had to go and defeat the E4 again, so I decided to go and train in Mt. Silver. I explored around and stumbled across his room, and I didn't even save before I talked to him. ;-; Lugia was my last one, and it was paralyzed from multiple Body Slams and in really low health, but I beat him. It was pretty shocking..

OMAIGAWD, Red was in GSC? Did he look hawt?
I played Crystal once, but never finished it, because I was borrowing it...so I didn't know...
Hm...Logically, he has the same team as he does in the PokeSpe, right?
So...Venasuar, Poliwhirl, Pikachu, Snorlax, Gyrados, and Aerodactyl? But I keep on hearing that he used Espeon instead...

Well, I know for a fact that Snorlax's a pain, it works if you use fighting type on it or something like that. Maybe poison it too?

Was this post a bit offtopic? It was pretty useless, huh? Answering it even though I never got to it. DxD

Beat him on all three versions. He isn't that hard to beat just like every other CPU Trainers in the Pokemon games. The only Pokemon that I had trouble with was Snorlax because I usually never KO it in one hit.

I think I beat Red the second time I played Gold (I had someone beat it for me the first time for some odd reason...) with a Level 100 Typhlosion, 57 Ho-oh, and a few others I can't name right now, but I remember using those two the most.

I'm 99% sure I beat him the first playthrough.

Pretty sure I only did it with Feraligatr to.

I beat him, but it wasn't easy.
