2nd Gen Have you beaten Red?

I've beaten red but I can't remember my team but I remember only one pokemon my typlosion in the team.

No. I made it to him once but I got trashed, so I continued training. The next day when I wanted to challenge him again something happened to my save file and all my data was lost... :(

I've beaten him once. Or twice. Either way, not very many times.

It's been that long I can't actually recall the team I used, but at a wild guess i'd say it was probably the team I use when I beat the Elite Four on Silver which consists of:
Ampharos
Feraligatr
Fearow (Though she doesn't actually fight, I use her if someone else has fainted and needs reviving haha)
Steelix
Houndoom
Espeon

I'll have matched up whichever of my Pokémon were most effective against his and battled like that, and gone for Steelix (all-out power) against the Snorlax.

I've beaten red in a couple of times now..I can't remember the team I used to beat him.

I beat Red with this team:
Raichase, the Raichu
SurfinPika, the Pikachu
Myu, the Mew
Sonic, the Quilava
SilverWing, the Lugia
MyuTwo, the Mewtwo

Red.. It was hard to beat him.. but only first time. I remember, that I had lv 85 typhlosion, lv 70 pidgeot, Lugia and lv50 Scyther, Snorlax, Hypno. But nice attacks are well-welcomed, and can cause miracles :)

I remember beating Red the second time I beat Crystal. I don't remember my team exactly, but I think it was:

Well, last time I beat Red, I was playing in Silver, doing a Ground Monotype Challenge. I was lucky, I could beat him with 5 pkmn, 1 lv 57 and the rest lv 50 even I couldnt believe it, but I did it

I have beaten red alot of times it go boring i beat him with a level 67 typlhosion easily i just flamethrowed his whole team yes even blastiose very easy

I recall beating Red with a Typhlosion, a Raikou, a Suicune, and a Misdreavus. It wasn't too difficult. Snorlax was simple to beat because I used the Mean Look/Perish Song combo with my Misdreavus.

i tried to beat him but my game messed u when i tried to.....he kept sending out pokes like shiny celebis(name:glitch letters??)'m' missingno, kabutops fossils......i think u get the picture....
....so no i never defeated him.....he defeated my game :(

Loads of times! But he kind of freaks me out...I know he's the here from red blue and yellow and the heroes aren't meant to talk but couldn't the make him say more than ...!?

As soon as I raised my Pokemon (starter to lv 85) followed by the others in level 80, thats when I challenged and of course beat Red in GSC

i beat red with all my pokes in the mid 60's, now there all 100, but at the time i used meganium tyranitar togetic suicune ampharos and then i got ho-oh to complete my crystal team
