4th Gen Have you caught shiny yet in HG/SS?

    So, title says everything. Have you caught any shinys? (other than Red Gyarados) I caught shiny Hoothoot two days ago. I was going to turn left with my bike because there was pokéball but it went too fast and I went straight, suddenly I encountered a golden Hoothoot. It has nickname SHINY, I put picture here as I just take it with me. I have to evolve Spearow or Geodude first.
     
    sniff... i havent found a shiny yet, other than my red gyarados!

    yeah, i saw that shiny totodile, u posted it in the screenies thread, right?
     
    its strange it seems like a lot of people are getting shinies in the new games, i have never even seen a shiny untill now with my masterfull shiny majikarp =D
     
    This is the seccond time i've heard of a shiny totodile in HG and SS. the other one was on serebii...

    is the red gyarados boosted like a shiny or is it just red?

    Its a shiny. No such thing as a Red Gyarados. Except this shiny one.
     
    Havn't got my copy yet, but I hope I do find one, i've only ever found 1 shiney that was without any cheats or pokeradar, completely random.
     
    Since playing the originall R/B/Y and every game after that, I have never encountered a shiny. Its probably because I use a crapload of Repels
     
    I encountered one shiny in HGSS...
    Shiny Rattata.
    Of course, it was useless to me since I was only starting out and had no damn balls to catch it with yet!

    Apart from that, I've seen a Shiny Bidoof(fail) on Platinum and Shiny Weedle on FireRed.

    I have the same problem, but I never use Repels. My brother has all the luck, having Shinies of two of my favorite Pokés (Slowbro and Swalot).
     
    I haven't encountered a shiny on any game and neither has my friend, it makes me think sometimes that people either lie or play way too much. D:

    When HG/SS comes around, I hope I'll see one.
     
    ^To the above, same here. I hardly ever use Repels, and I do play way too much, but I still have never, ever encountered a shiny. :(
     
    Other than the Red Gyarados, I have never caught or encountered any shiny Pokemon in SoulSilver, or any other game (except when I found a Shiny Weedle and traded it for a Pikachu over the GTS xDDD). The Red Gyarados was essential, since that was the easiest place to find a Gyarados, and Gyarados looks awesome in Red. <3
     
    Well i've been trying to get a shiny cyndaquil for a starter but i can never get 1. : (

    (ps if you have a shiny pokemon when follows you will it still be shiny
     
    well the first pokemon i saw in the burned tower was a shiny koffing and i was really happy. and then in victory road i found a shiny ORANGE geodude but critical hit it...
