"He said WHAT about my butt?"

Depends on the situation and what was said. I would either ignore it, confront them directly, or just say "excuse me?"
I used to brood and let it get to me. Not anymore!

I usually ignore it at first and keep on tab for later to do something ****** to them when the opportunity opens. Or sometimes I like to just use their comment in conversation with them at some later point. Like, "Oh, but I thought I was a _____?"
I've done that in a similar situation to someone. It also ruined their credibility with their other friends. People shouldn't talk crap about others who are supposed to be their friends.
 
Ahh let's just be real let's.
They wouldn't have no teeth left to say more words with.
They'd be lucky to keep their smackers at all.
 
Im usually non confrontational and people don't really do that anyway, but it it were really bad, and something that would seriously harm my reputation or something, I would probably speak up and confront them. It would depend how bad what was said about me was.
