We all have our favorite Pokemon, and chances are, you know the cry of your favorite. Since Black and White haven't hit the states yet, there are 493 Pokemon. You might know most of, or even all of their names, but do you know their crys? How many Pokemon crys can you recognize?

From playing Red Version as much as I did when I was younger, without even trying I kind of just remembered all the cries of all the Pokemon in the Kanto Pokedex. I think I know around half of the cries of the Johto and Hoenn Dex's, and maybe like a third of Sinnoh's Dex? I play Pokemon to much, lol.

Sadly, I can remember a good amount of Pokemon cries. T_T
And I actually do remember some of the 5th generation cries. :x

Not really. Before gen IV, they all sounded the same to me. But to name a few: -
    - Zigzagoon
    - Sinnoh lake trio
    - Dialga
    - Bidoof
    - Giratina (ugh, how could you forget that?)
    - Charizard
    - Meowth

My ds's volume is always turned all the way down. So sadly none.

I used to know a lot of the Pokemon cries, but now idk. I might not know much of any D:

I can barely recognize 'em these days. Too busy turning off the terrible gen IV battle music and playing my own rock instead, memories fade.

I don't really remember most of the older Pokemon cries. There are a few that I remember, whether that's due to using those Pokemon all the time or just really enjoying their cries. But as I got older, I played with the DS volume on very rarely, so I never really heard a lot of Pokemon cries.

For B/W, though, I do know some cries because I've played that with the volume on.

    Where's the "Only Pikachu's" option?

Em... To tell the truth, I probably know a few, but can't really recall. Bet if somebody played them, though, I couldn't recongize any of them. :P

Cricketune's is the only one I can remember.

    bibibibibibibibibrrrbriiiiiiiib!

I was really good at memorizing GenI pokemon cries when I was younger, to the point that my dad could be playing Pokemon Pinball behind my back with the volume up, and I could identify every pokemon he encountered just by the sound byte. XD

A lot of GenIV pokemon have memorable cries too, like Bidoof, Infernape, Kricketune, and Dialga, but anything from GenII/GenIII has to be something tha I used a lot (like Crobat, Sceptile or Sableye) for me to have memorized them. XD

More of the older cries have stuck with me, I'm not really sure why though. So many new games/Pokemon have come out since Red, and I've played and re-played those games, but I just can't remember them as well as the original 151? Its weird, lol.

I agree with you. A lot of the cries in Gen. IV are memorable, those are mainly the only ones I know, Infernape and Dialga being two of them. Lol. All the cries of Pokemon I know from the second and third generations are also Pokemon I used a lot.

I get what you mean about the music. The majority of my time spent in Sinnoh was either silent or filled with the wonderfulness of music from my ipod. They few times I hadn't muted the game though, I picked up a few xD

    - Charizard

Charizard's was always one of the most distinct to me. Not because I liked how it sounded or anything, but because its the same cry as Rhyhorn. Two for one, lol.

I couldn't identify any pokemon's cry. I enjoy the fact that each pokemon has a different cry, but I just don't think my brain works in that way that I would even be able to remember each pokemon's cry. Maybe, if I had a few guesses, there would be a few that I could identify, but definitely none off the top of my head

I'm one of the few who memorizes each Pokemon's cry; I've been doing it ever since getting Ruby/Sapphire. When I hear a new Pokemon's cry, I play it over and over until it sticks in my head. Whenever I see a Pokemon (whether in the games, the anime or other media), I play its cry in my head.

I know most of the Gen V Pokemon's cries already, though I still need practice memorizing them.

I remember every Pokemon cry except some of BW,Shaymin,Darkrai, and Arceus (Because i've never heard them). I never forget the cries, and i can play them in my mind. I was always really interested with them. ^^

Honestly, I have no idea how many cries I have memorized. I tend to listen to Judas Priest (or whatever I'm addicted to when I play) instead of the game music. I do, of course, know memorable cries such as Nidoking, Kricketune and Bidoof though.
