No there is no D/C for either party no matter what. That's a ban from the league for whatever reason.

No, not disconnecting. You can disqualify him for breaking a gym rule.

EDIT: Pity as Polkop just won the battle by one guy. Problem was both item clause and the tier cluase were broken. So better luck next time.

For everyone else, note that BL and OU are one in the same in competitive battling, as is Limbo.

Two actually, so it counts as a win for the gym by DQ. Anyone who wants an idea of how close it was, it came down to Rhyperior versus Starmie and whoever got the attac would hit for the kill. Rhyperior's Salac Berry activated to bring it to 348 speed, at most only 13 speed short of outspeeding Starmie and winning. So it was a huge pity about the DQ when there was only one move in the difference. I suppose if Heat Wave hadn't missed Dugtrio Zapdos may have still been around to deal with Starmie. Anyway, great game polkop, good to have another decent challenger in our midst. So it's now 18-2 I think. Meaning I've reached 20 challengers. So cool.

BTW guys, I won't be on much at all tomorrow (today by now), I have a convention to go to.
 
You know what Greene, I think you need another loss ^_~, lol. But first off, I will say this: LOL ITEM CLAUSE. Who even uses that? It's a dumb rule made by Nintendo for no reason, and isn't even in standard play. BUT, of course, I will follow it XD

I use it. I've gotten over the fact that originality in teams is absolutely dead, but I at least expect the people that I go against to be original enough that they don't need to have Leftovers on two Pokemon.

Also, polkop broke two rules, and even if it had just been the one, It's Greene's choice whether or not to DQ somebody if they break a rule. The rules are in a place for a reason.
 
The Item Clause is pointless and idiotic, there is no reason to limit an item. Replacing something useful that EVERYONE has access to, whether it be WiFi or the Battle Tower/Frontier, is just plain stupid. Why get rid of something useful for something that might have one use, then go "Lol you're screwed!"? Plus, in true competitive battling (AKA Actually look at the Strategies and Movesets section. This Battle Stadium section is half filled with noobs/newbs most of the time, so its actually rather hard to find anyone good outside of proven tournaments) the Item Clause doesn't even really exist.

The majority of people use it actually. Your challenge will have to wait until tomorrow.

And polkop you broke two rules as you also broke my OU clause, since BL and LImbo are effectively OU for battling competitively. Just seriously stop worrying about it all, I know you didn't mean to break any of those rules so it's all fine.

Got a new idea for another team too that I hope will work. It's hard to work with Rock Pokemon because of the speed and lack of special fighters, and Trick Room becomes predictable if it's used all the time, hence why I have four gym teams so far.

Great attitude to have, anyone who has a problem with item clause and OU restrictions cares for winning too much for my liking. And if you are going to stand a chance of finishing this league you will have to suck it up some day and get over it. Also read the rules on challenging. A glance to the bottom of the page tells you I am the only leader online right now.
 
Actually, look at the Standard Rules posted in the stick here (Rules one) or ANY accomplished tournament. Item Clause is NOT standard rules, at all. It is never used outside of official Nintendo tournaments, because for some reason they decided to make a crap rule XD Either way, I'll still follow it XD

Did I say it was standard? No I didn't, but the majority of battlers use it to stop idiots from having 6 Sashes for instance. All rules are made for a reason, the item clause was made because over abuse of anything will always lead to an unfair advantage. I think the fact that people complain so much because one of six of their Pokemon can't use an item speaks volumes about all that's wrong with battling today. People care way too much!
 
Who'd be dumb enough to use 6 sashes? SR says hi lol. Just to give an example, that clause really demolishes Stall teams. They are built around defenses and survivability, while rarely attack. Lefties are NEEDED for it to work. Shell Bell wouldn't because you need to do damage, and something like a Sitrus Berry just works once. If it breaks an entire strategy of play, it's dumb XD

BUT, like I've said, I'm willing to oblige. Clearly I dont' care that much
 
Stall teams sap the fun out of a battle, so I couldn't care less for what destroys them :D

Anyway Jake, we can have our battle tomorrow evening, about 16hrs from now. Since you qualified for E4 I'm expecting a good clean fight out of you.
 
Guess what genius, whose on the page tells you what gym leaders are on the page. If a gym leader isn't on this page they aren't going to see a challenge. And suit yourself that in the end it will all be pointless and you will have wasted your time because you are "too good" for some rules.

And Jake that's good to know. These Aerodactyl are getting lonely.
