4th Gen HeartGold/SoulSilver Speculation

Even if you own the game its technically still illegal as you are using their copyrighted property to make something.

Of course it wouldn't be cool.
What could be next, fan Pokémon?
Spoiler:

The only thing I'll say is: HELL NO.
That's absurd.

Its my opinion, my gosh. And btw, these are remakes, so you'll never know how the creators can screw it up! Sadly... Although I'm glad that the Pokémon will follow you around! That is an awesome feature!!

Of course it wouldn't be cool.

I know what your saying. Although some fan Pokémon could actually be used (from the creativity and all), but I see your point. I just think the creators should be a bit more open to outside influence and suggestion.

Lets not get into an argument. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. Plus, I forgot where I heard it. The reason I believe that is you think Nintendo and everyone who works with Pokémon don't check the internet for copyrighted material? They sure do! Why haven't the major hackers been removed from YouTube ect.

Again, I may be wrong.

I didn't say it was. I said it would be cool if they did. Of course they won't. And also, it is not illegal... if you meet the requirements (like own a copy of Pokémon FireRed).

And as I said before, its true that adding another region like Hoenn is too much. With two regions already in the game, its hard to add much more. :(

Yes, but seeing as how they made some key areas look incredible, it makes up for lack of Hoenn. Look at how gorgeous Cherrygrove is, Ecruteak, Cianwood, Blackthorn City's gym, Slowpoke well, etc. :D All these places look gorgeous. After hearing some of the music so far, they pretty much kept the basic rhythm. The tempo may have been increased or decreased in some of them, but they kept the beat going. Look at the song they played in the commercial, no doubt that must be the intro theme. Team Rocket's theme sounds similar. Imagine how Ecruteak's updated theme sounds like as well as the music in the Dance Theater.

(As for my previous post, when I said I agreed with the post above mine, I meant Pokestick's post. I didn't post fast enough. :/)

I see your point. The artwork and design is incredible!! The features of this game will make it the best Pokémon game ever!!! They should add a bit more to the game, but maybe not as much as they did in FR/LG with Sevii Islands, or maybe even something similar. But not too big. Even without it, still, it is compatible with D/P/Pt which are compatible with R/S/E/FR/LG which are compatible with Colosseum and XD. That makes for a wide range of Pokémon! I think every Pokémon (besides some like Arceus ect.) Too bad HG/SS are probably incompatible with R/S/E/FR/LG. But its probably because the DSi is popular now and you cannot play GBA games on it.

And I personally think that instead of addin' Sevii again, (that's FRLG's thing) I'd prefer a new area in Johto, which it's really lookin' like It's gonna be. And with the new improved Kanto that everyone is hopin' for is introduced, then that would maybe even be nessecary, if you ask me.

Yeah, a new area in Johto and an improved Kanto would be awesome! They should do more with Mount Silver. Its just sitting there 'til the end of the game, where you go in, battle Red, win (or get your butt kicked like I used to xD) and then the place is practically USELESS unless you want to get high leveled Rock- or Ground-type Pokémon like Onix or Donphan which you could and should already have, or get a Larvitar so you can raise it all the way up to a Tyranitar.

I think they should add more to Mount Mortar if you ask me. All they had was a guy who gave you a Tyrogue if you got to the end. You didn't even need to enter that place to beat the game. It wasn't exactly a good training spot either. They should level up some of the Pokemon in there, and maybe add a mini plot to it. (Similar to Wayward cave, you could have someone team up with you to get to the end or something.)

A 4th enterance to a completely new area isn't good enough? I mean if you haven't noticed there is a new cave and all...

(You don't have to have an attitude. :/)

I'm talking about Mount Mortar which is to the left of Ecruteak and to the right of Mahogany town, not Mount Silver. I'm just saying, I'd like for Mount Mortar to get some recognition. Is that so wrong? I'd just like to team up with a character to explore Mount Mortar. The levels in that cave were low. I just wanted them to raise the levels slightly.

I like your idea! They should keep the Tryogue, though. And yeah, they need to level up the Pokémon. They should actually have wild Larvitar there. Ya know how you said it should be similar to Wayward Cave? (Side note: Every generation has the powerful "dragon" family - Dragonite, Tyranitar (although its not a dragon), Salamence, and Garchomp and the pre evolved forms) Well since it SHOULD be similar to Wayward Cave and have a mini-event there, Larvitar should be there too, as there were Gible in Wayward Cave.

And they should fix up the Lake of Rage---give it a bigger plot.

Thanks. :D They should definitely keep the Tyrogue or even better, make it wild in that area. :D I really like your idea of being able to catch wild Larvitar there. (I also think they could add Phanpy/Teddiursa there as well.) Idea: I wonder if Bagons and Gibles will appear in Dragon's Den after the National dex is obtained...

I, too, would love to see Lake of Rage with a bigger plot. Maybe we'll see the cameraman who films the Red Gyarados story for DP. ^_^

Edit: I just saw your post, Todoroki. (I didn't notice the fourth entrance before. My glasses broke. :/ Sorry about earlier. :()

Don't you mean to the right of Ecruteak and the left of Mahogany? xD

Yeah. lol I should have double checked before posting. lol Don't judge me.
Spoiler:

I like your idea of having wild Larvitar in Mount Mortar. I wonder if they'll have a plot included in there. It didn't have much recognition last time, so I was wondering if they added anything to it or if they increased the levels.

Play asia has apparently gone loopy
Heart Gold description:
Pokemon Heart Gold is a remake of Pokemon Gold, a game which first came out in 2,000. It includes revamped graphics, various new Pokemon, and new forms of previously existing Pokemon. The game also offers a special challenge after the main story is completed, in which the main character travels to the Hoenn region to catch one of two titans that fought 3 years earlier. New characters include Lunah, the Dark type gym leader of Hoenn, and Sakura, the gardening enthusiast. Supports wi-fi connection and comes with a pedometer.
What. The. Hell.
SoulSilver:
Pokémon Soul Silver along with Heart Gold are remakes of the original Pokémon Gold and Silver set in the Johto region. Prepare to explore the Johto region once again and later travel to Kanto. Also trade with Pokémon Diamond, Pearl and Platinum versions regardless of which language version you have to complete your Pokédex.

Thanks! xD They should increase the levels. Ya know, there is another thing that I think might be interesting. It comes from the Japanese version of Pokémon Crystal. The Pokémon Communication Center (PCC) in Goldenrod City. I don't know what purpose it would serve, but it'd be cool! :)

There is a picture of it on this page. (Copyright Serebii.net)

It's basically an old school GTS. And I bet the GTS will be added to HG/SS.

Yeah.

Well in that case, the PCC should be the GTS. Because the "big city" of Johto is definitely Goldenrod, and I'd probably say Jubilife for Sinnoh. So instead of making a brand new building, which they could, just make the PCC. That's my opinion.

After defeating the Elite Four, you should get to re-battle the gym leaders. But maybe Clair would be in Dragon's Den back where you have to find her after you defeat her. Or maybe ALL of the gym leaders would be off in different places that you might expect to see them. I don't know.

You do not travel to Hoenn to catch Groudon/Kyogre, they apepar in Johto, as does Rayquaza, Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina.
