Maybe they wanted to keep it as a secret for us, but they forgot to remove them (temporarly) at the first commercial ;)

Yeah..no. Most likely placeholders to spice new bark up. If you haven't noticed changes were made here and there
 
I missed a lot yesterday. I read something about Secret Bases. I love that idea!! Seriously, Secret Bases were awesome in Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald, but then removed in FireRed and LeafGreen, and they are ridiculous in Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum (they're okay, but not as good). I hope they have secret bases!!
 
I don't know if anyone already posted this, but since on the Johto map that you can go to Kanto (Leaving New Bark Town and going to Mt. Silver), I noticed this:

So, does anyone else think that with that line of text, Shaymin (Or something else) will be available in Kanto somewhere?

I'm just taking a few guesses, and there is no evidence supporting it:

1. In or in the vicinity of Pallet Town
2. In or in the vicinity of Cinnabar Island or surrounding areas.
3. In or in the vicinity of the Indigo Plateau.

Offtopic: Not completely, but in away, not only is this a Gold/Silver remake, this is also (again, in part) a FireRed/LeafGreen (Red/Blue) remake!! xD
 
Multiple things that will make me scream if they are removed:

1. "Red" Gyarados
2. Kanto
3. Mount Silver's Red Battle

There are lots of other things too, but those are the biggest (Kanto is bigger, but I put them in the order that the events happen)

I highly doubt they'll take out the red Gyarados, or the battle at mount silver
and Kanto is confirmed ingame
 
Part of Kanto can be seen on the map (the road from the E4 to Viridian). Besides, if it weren't it wouldn't come close to a true remake, now would it?

Do you mean make Mt. Moon the full cave it was in R/G/B?
