Hints about 5Gen, or remakes of R/S?

It's far too early for an R/S remake.. give it a few more years..
5th Gen hints however are very likely being as the Sinnoh Saga is coming to an end in the next few months.

Yeah... I don't expect them to start throwing in RS refereces in the masses here, tbh, and of course, it also depends on whether they'd make an RS remake or not next gen (or the following gen, and so on). I do recall people claiming that Game Freak said they weren't thinking about doing one... but even if that is true, things change I suppose down the track.

But that's only a mere possibility and down the track at any rate.

I wonder if one can actually walk next to your Pokemon in the Day Care Centre, or at least see them? Hmm...

I couldn't agree more. With the Sinnoh Saga coming to an end in the next few months, maybe they'll finally declare a new generation or so. Or they could just start another Johto series. I don't know but either one is fine with me. If they do happen to make another generation maybe the new Johto girl will be in it.

I mean the DSi just came out so Nintendo wouldn't plan a new Handheld Console like the DS for quite a while so I think we'll finnally have 2 genrations on DS

Even if it is official statement by Nintendo/CoroCoro, I wouldn't still 100% believe it... You see... There are actually some features/things that were not release(or delayed), for example: Wi-Fi compatibility in Sinnoh underground, Some various "beta" Pokemon (were unreleased or changed), idea change(or even dropped out) etc... So I wouldn't say things so sure yet... It's safe to speculate though... :P

- Lacking of realistic Day/Night feel, they had clock in the game...
- Hoenn is the only region that had no graphic upgrade/update to date, for example no 3D etc...(not counting Emerald as it was about 3 to 4 years ago plus it looked like Ruby and Sapphire too much... Anyway I counted that Kanto will made an appearance on HGSS)

Speaking of Kanto, I think the plot development there will be more than in Johto. Since I think the plot in Kanto are lacking of something, like kinda dry...? Actually the plot in Johto-part had little problem to me, it only needs some enchance and lil' addition.

But if we're talking about the whole game, I think the original GSC was not neat enough, messy Johto-dex(with some irrelevant Pokemon from Johto - legendary birds, Kanto starter), too many native Kanto Pokemon etc...

Instead of a remake, I want a big revamp of GSC!!

@Icicle Dance: I agree with the Johto Dex statement. I thought it was total bull that I had to wait until right before the final battle with Red to capture a Larvitar. *rages* Gen II Pokemon availability should be fixed.

Indeed it should be fixed, because it was also kind of weird to not be able to catch Houndour until after you arrive in Kanto. So, hopefully some revision on this will be changed up a bit before the remake is released.

Yeah, if Houndour isn't going to be in the Johto region then there's going to be a Kanto region most likely.

Hey I have been wondering, do you think the new day and night system will be like the one in Diamond, Pearl and Platinum? I would only hope it is, or a bit different.

I hope that and many other features get carried across (animated sprites, move tutors, the variety of pokeballs). and i hope the roaming legendary dogs comes back, or they get given specific caves/places to be found, but i think i'd prefer if they roamed

Do you know that the color in the morning time at the original GSC is golden yellow?
While the one on the DPP is blue?

The difference is a humongous difference that I really can't bare. I guess we could only hope that they add in the Day and Night system from Diamond, Pearl and Platinum. If they keep the day and night system they had in Gold and Silver I could only picture it being the same as it is in those pictures, but just with improved graphics. The legitmate amount of day and night systems they had were nothing compared to Diamond, Pearl or Platinum's day and night system.

Well Gold/Silver/Crystal all had the Day and Night feature, it just was never put in when the made RSE or FRLG, which I think was a disappointment. Anyway, I believe the time system and look of things will pretty much match that of what we had in DPPt.

I really like the morning in GSC,
it really brighten up my mood,
everytime I'm playing GSC...
But the one in DPP... Urgh, they are not bad actually, I just don't like it...

In DPPt the early morning was a little dark compared that of the original GSC games. Though, if you think of it the way they managed the time and day in Sinnoh is very close to how it works in reality.

Hopefully a little more towards the D/P one, it looks more real to see the different points of day such as when the sun sets, early in the morning and just when it hits the darkness. Really cool feature no doubt.
