Yes, and the reason why they did it for Yellow is because we had to start off with Pikachu. For those who didn't have Red or Blue, were given the oppotunity to still get the starters within Yellow itself. Seeing as this isn't the case in HeartGold and SoulSilver though, I wouldn't expect it too much. Though, if they did decide on implementing it, then it'll sure be a lot easier than having to either trade for the other starters or restarting the game as well. As for the Legendary Beasts, it's a mystery on what tehy may do with them, but my best guess is that it'll remain loose within the wild like how it was before in the originals. The only problem I had with them beins loose so early though is that when I did end up encountering them, I might not have been ready and then it can simply escape [Hopefully this won't be the case though]. If they are kept loose in Johto again, it'll be nice for them to change the encounter music like how they did it with Mesprit in DPPt.

Yeah I know, but still it'd be cool if you could get all three without trading. But then they may put in a GTS...

That'd be a good idea, the music lets you know its not a normal Pokemon. When I first encountered Cresseila I almost killed it before realizing it was a legendary XD
 
What do you guys think will happen with the whole Trainer Card vs. Trainer Case stuff? Will we still have the Five Stars to rank us? How about shining badges? (16 Badges = Too long)

I think they'll have two pages of badges, you have to flick across with your thumb to view the next page.

I think they'll keep the 5 stars.

What I mean is that, based on scintific facts, one being can't be in two places at the same time. I hope we will be able to get BOTH ho-oh and Lugia in the games because I can see Nintendo changing something so that you can only catch one.

I'd like to see more of kanto - Maybe some unknown dungeon/Mewtwo action?

Also I'd like to see the a battle frontier come again and contests that were the same as R/S/E
I mean I know that they have nothing to do with gold and silver, but Sevii Islands didn't have anything to do with G/R/B/Y so It could be a possibility.

Anyway there are "unused" sprites of both Sellos and Gastrodon in DPP...
I wonder if they are related to Hg/Ss?
There might a possibilty those sprites are beta though...

Do you miss FR/LG exclusives?

What we know is that the 1st person view entrances to a special place'll be in the game. But that's not all what FR/LG had and other games didn't, for example: Do you remember that part in the pokedex where you could pokemon in families? I hope they return so that we could know in what families are the new pokemon. Also, the Fame Checker, now we can know more about some important characters in the game, and their sprites in battle (because most of them couldn't fight, as Prof. Oak, Bill.. we couldn't know their sprites in battle).

Rules:
Don't spam, flood and argument what you say, not just: "I hope it's thEER beCAUE iLIEK !T".

Also, some optional stuff if you want to say, for example:
Talking about the Fame Checker: What characters do you want in?
Talking about the Pokedex: In what families do you expect some new pokemons? or maybe a new design in it, since I don't think in the previous FR/LG pokedex so many pokemon would enter (7 eeveevolutions, for example)
Talking about the first person view entrances: What places do you think they should be in? Or even, if you want, [/sarcasm]Give your own design to Nintendo![sarcasm]
 
I totally forgot about the fame checker! I hope that makes it into the game this time around.

And in terms of first person entrances, all gyms should have one. It would be cool to see.
 
I enjoyed trying to fill in the Fame Checker the last time it was in the games. It was good for bringing up details on a character's background.
 
maybe there'll be a battle tower in ccrystal's location but areas blocked off for after th E4 for a battle frontier or something.
 
You know what, there were stated that some Gastrodon forms were not used. HeartGold and SoulSilver will be a perfect concept to place the new forms of Shellos and Gastrodon as it won't ruin compatability either. The reason why, is because either DPPt has coding for it already [not likely, but it's a thought] or when we trade the new form of it from HeartGold and SoulSilver to DPPt it'll revert back to whichever form it belongs in. As for how strong Gastrodon seemed to appear, I'd say it was fairly easy to beat, if you had the right Pokémon or else its high HP and somewhat mild defences would take some time to bring it to 0 HP.

I don't know about a Battle Frontier, but either a new Battle Tower or Trainer Tower might show up. It seems more likely, as Platinum already brought back the Battle Frontier. It is just like how Platinum brought back the three legendary birds [Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres] so they wouldn't have to add it into HeartGold and SoulSilver. As for the Sevii Islands, that is a possibility. It was the place for the Trainer Tower in FRLG and it was an additional part of Kanto. Since the Johto event is held three years after Kanto, it would mean the Sevii Islands are still there and they can possible make a return. The timeline factor has a big deal nowadays on how things may play out.

I also stated before that Lugia and Ho-Oh will both be included. Like stated, if it were to be removed, then there would be no purpose for the Tin Towers nor the Whirl Islands. Plus, it differenciates the games from what we've been playing recently.

This seems possible to me, as it looks like they are taking features and ideas from previous games to build up the remake. We'll just have to wait and see how it turns out.
 
hmm, actually i think they won't make new shellos, gastrodon sprites, i even don't think you will be able to catch em and thus when they will be sent over, they'll be the ones you sended over, and if they where able, then i think : west = pink shellos/ east = blue shellos, easy as is, i think they just won't see any purpose in changing theire sprites, cause they stay as strong as they are and they already have 2 sprites, but what i'll bother about is still the pokemon following you, how that will work ( shinyness, evolved,...) and that they will make the red gyarados shiny or just red .....

Since you stated the compatibility of "new form" that found in DPP, I doubt it'll change form when traded into DPP.

Maybe the Sevii Islands will not appeared, but'll just mentioned by NPCs.
You know Game Freak/Nintendo gets lazy sometimes...

Actually there were data that the original Cinnabar, Safari Zone still exist. But they changed them for some reason. Maybe similar things'll happen to Sevii Islands...

Maybe the trainers will say that the only man who knew the way to the Sevii Islands, got lost at sea.

As for the Gastrodon/Shellos, idea, I believe it will be included in HG/SS. Seeing as they vary from region to region, I could see one in Johto and one in Kanto.

I wonder if we'll be allowed to the Daycare to talk to the Pokemon we left there again or if they'll close it off. (Last time you were able to walk up to your Pokemon's sprite.)
 
I have heard the inverse about the Sevii Islands.

I have actually heard that you can visit Birth Island, so...

Hopefully 'tis true.

Back to the Battle Tower Topic - I have heard that there will be a new Battle Frontier. It would be a great idea, and could make up for the lack of Frontiers for Kanto and Johto.
