HeartGold/SoulSilver - Travel Journal

Got HeartGold today, I was so excited (:
After almost 3 hrs of playing:

-SR till I got a female Chikorita named Megan
-Caught 5 spare Pokemon to trade
-Beat Sprout Tower and Falkner with just Chikorita who evolved and is now a lvl 16 Bayleef
-Traded over 4 shinies (I've been saving them for this :D) and a Marcargo which is gonna speed up egg hatching if I need it.
-The shinies are lvl 2 Growlithe named Scruffy, lvl 1 Gible, lvl 26 Vulpix and lvl 26 Pichu. I'll use Vulpix and Pichu after I get the second badge so they'll obey me.
-At the cave to get to Azalea Town :)
 
Beat the 1 Gym Leader. doing the Arceus event at Sinjon I'm getting a Giratina >w<, and I caught some pokemon. Training my Mareep.

btw, I'm going to go ahead and complete the pokedex real fast.

Just got my Notch Eared Pichu, named her Gizamimi. It was so exciting and cute, I actually felt happy for them! ^_^

As for me - I've gone and started a game while I wait for it to come out over here. Half to take pictures/videos for my own evil purposes kekkeke, and another to try out monotype teams to give myself a challenge!

Gone with a grass-type monotype team. Gee, that sounds like fun for the first few gyms, doesn't it? =P But I've beaten the first two which would arguably be the most challenging for me, although Morty's Gastly line might trouble me... anyways, gone with Chikorita obviously (now a level 18 Bayleef), a Bellsprout (18), Hoppip which finally learnt an attacking move on level 10, and is now a Skiploom at level 18 (and got rid of Tackle by making it learn Headbutt =P), a Paras (14), and a recently-caught Exeggcute (level 12). Just hit Goldenrod City to check out the radio/game corner, whee.

Enjoying the translation thus far, have to say - isn't half bad at all n the whole.
 
Just beat Pryce wasnt' that diffucult, hardest gym so far for me was actually Chuck.

Wow, another Cyndaquil/Quilava/Typholsion and Mareep/Flaaffy/Ampharos person. Almost everyone who has a Cyndaquil, has a Mareep.
Taichi has just caught a random Sudowoodo that was blocking his path to Ecruteak City. He named him Kasshoku. (Japanese for Brown.)

Edit: and ANOTHER Cyndaquil/Mareep right below my post. Man this just doesn't stop. lol
 
Yes! Marlin evolved into a quagsire! He reached level 20 while in the pokewalker, but they don't evolve when they return, so I had to raise him to lvl 21.

After headbutting about 100 trees, I FINALLY found a male heracross! May nickname him achilles or hercules.
 
Spent about 5 hours playing the game on and off. I've just made it to Ecruteak City. I current party is Quilava, Togepi and Onix, all at level 23. I'm planning on getting a Skarmory, Umbreon and Red Gyrados. I've decided to use him after all. I think I may ditch Onix for an electric Pokemon of some sort. Any suggestions?
