Beat Whitney on my first try, although her Miltank was a ***** to take down. Currently just battling trainers and also leveling up my party so that I can have all my team at about the same levels.

Posting before I sign off.

Got the game rather late in the day. Started it, named my character, went to pick a Totodile, got female when I wanted male. I had to restart twice to get a male Totodile. Once I hit the first route, I level grounded until my Totodile was at level ten, then headed off to Cherrygrove.

Typical starter trainer things.

But right now, I'm in Violet City after playing through the Sprout Tower. I have my level fourteen Totodile, and a male Rattata at level thirteen. They're probably going to remain my main Pokemon throughout the game.

Back to level grinding.
