With temperatures across the UK and Ireland averaging 30C, I was wondering, how is everyone coping with said heatwave?
If you live elsewhere in the world, still feel free to answer if it is abnormally hot.

I've got no air conditioning system, and in fact not many summer garments, so I'm just opening the windows and hoping for the best. xD
I had a fan on my desk a few years ago until I spilt milk on it and electrocuted myself, I may get a new one if this continues... just need somewhere safe to put it. xO

When I came back from school by bus today, it was very hot. Recently we have only had warm days but I'm kinda fine with that. Better too warm than too cold :D
Over the afternoon I stay in my chilly room and in the evening I go swimming or running.
I just can't stand when it's very sultry.

    You should really include the Southern, Midwestern parts of the U.S. and part of Canada in this. We are experiencing a pretty bad heatwave aswell. However, for some reason there is a 50 mile radius around were I live where it is 20 degrees below average. But I do believe it is ending, it's significantly cooler everywhere today. So I guess not? I don't know, you should include a past-tense option for North America or something. o.o;

It certainly is abnormal for the weather we'd expect.. My necks burnt because of the raging heat.. it's nice in the way I can do activities with the school that we'd planned but annoyign because I get burnt & it can be a little annoying.
    Awesome all the same.

Well... yeah it's pretty good! I'm loving the sunshine and it's perfect for tanning but... it gets a little too hot and uncomfortable at night, therefore requiring the gentle breeze of a nice fan =D The thunderstorms that come with the scorching heat aren't so nice on the other hand..

Ahahaha, horribly. I was stupid enough to walk into town for about 4 hours today, and I'm not used to being in hot weather walking far distances much and I had hardly anything to drink. So when I got home I was completely overheated, was sick, had a headache and felt really weak and dizzy. It was pretty weird, like when I looked at something it took my head a few more seconds to register what I was looking at XD Luckily, I feel better now, but I'm sunburnt XD

    I prefer winter :(

    I'm loving it.
I find that my plans are put on hold too often due to rainy weather. :[
    I hope it keeps up.

You should pray that a really thundery cloud forms to get rid of the heat. It usually does. After we had some rain, it felt much cooler, but warmed up again.

I finally had to get out the fans to put in my room. It isn't humid, but it's pushing 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Plus, the sun shines down in my room making it more like a green house than a bedroom. D:

We always have around 40C at this time of year so yeah XD

I should move to the UK these days, it seems.

South Texas is getting a heat beating this summer. Pretty close to record highs every day. Can't wait till July :\...

    Ah...

I really hope they're wrong. I can't stand heat, I prefer it warm or cold. And, I can't sleep when it's hot. I already have sleeping problems, possibly mild insomnia. Ugh, no sleep for me.

I would go outside and do something, but that means I have to walk with the sun shining on me.

Hm. I don't think I'm going to enjoy summer this year.

I can't stand the heat. Dx If it's anything like yesterday I will be spending my day off tomorrow in as little clothing as possible and moving as little as possible. I much prefer cold weather, to the point where I'll sleep with my bedroom window wide open even in the middle of winter.

Aha, me too. I can happily sleep with my window open all year round because of my hatred for heat when I'm trying to sleep. Which isn't often, so when I do try to sleep, I want to sleep properly, without searing heat.

And when it's hot, I don't move at all, I just lie on the floor in my room, in my underwear, with the window wide open and a fan on, preying it will cool me down. It doesn't, ever.

    twas too hot today tbhh.
i'm a footballer and for once i stopped playing, its like the first time in about two years i aint kicked a ball :/
so i sat on my computer chair in just my underwear. i sound so sad when i say tha :/

Oh boy, where I live it's completely backwards, 54 degrees Farenheit today (12 degrees Celsius), windy, with the occasional shower for the past 4 days. I prefer this to scolding hot like the rest of you are getting but I would love it if it were around 70 F...
