    I'm Meganmi (You can call me Megan) :)

    Just a fact, I didn't really play Pokemon in order, since I played Pokemon Yellow then Crystal then Red and then Blue etc,.
    However, my favorite was the 3rd Gen. games. (Idk really, maybe because the game has colors already?)

    I played until B2W2 because I don't have a 3DS and the most possible time I can get one is next Christmas (Boohoo, the wait is so long ;-;)

    Hopefully, I'll start to become active here since I'm most of the time busy due to school and family (I love them so much, with them I mean my family, not school x3)

    Anyway, Nice to be here with you all! <3
     
    Welcome to the forums Megan! It's always nice to see more friendly faces around, and yay for more fellow veteran Pokemon fans!

    So, a Hoenn fan you say? Hopefully you can get a 3DS soon so you can enjoy the beauty of Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, which are really awesome games especially to fellow 3rd Gen fans who loved the originals. Also, after a bit of looking into you I noticed you're into the ROM hacks here so I'd be happy to show you around the ROM Hacking section. There's some really handy guides you can read, amazing tools to use when making hacks and there's also some great hacks you can download and play yourself, many of which were made by really dedicated hackers a long time ago.

    And don't worry about real life issues, it's always nice to try and get active when you can! Hopefully you have a nice time and if you ever need any assistance you can always contact any staff members!

    Yeah, my order of pokemon was a bit 'random' at first too, from Pokemon Yellow to Pokemon Blue to Pokemon Gold, but yeah, in order after that, but it doesn't matterrrr. Love the 3rd gen games too! And aw, you're in fora treat if you manage to get a 3DS and ORAS! But still, Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald are pretty incredible games for their time, and I think I'll get back to Emerald in some form or another~!

    Ah, and yeah, I'm glad to hear that you'll be active, and I really hope you stay a while and that you have a most lovely stay!     Awe, it would be super frustrating for me to not have a 3DS for so long.. :( But at least you'll be getting one in the future, right? Could always be a lot worse. Awesome to have big Pokemon fans here so welcome, Megan! Good to meet you. <3

    The third generation games were definitely some of the best we got so you have good taste there - seems like a lot of members here like those, too. I must've spent at least 300 hours playing through Ruby and Sapphire as a kid and those were some really good times aaahh. OR/AS are absolutely amazing and I do hope you'll be here to discuss them with us if you ever pick up a copy!

    Have a fantastic time and please don't hesitate to ask for help if need be. The staff and members are all pretty darn awesome here on PC. Enjoy!
     
    Hey Megan, welcome to PC! It doesn't really matter what order you play the games in, imo. The story is similar in each game, and you won't really fall behind if you play one generation before the other. Ooh, what did you think of B2W2? I thought that those were the hardest Pokemon games yet. If you're bored or would like to chat feel free to hit me up with a message.
