Hi PokeCommunity!

My name is Archer, and I was a member of this forum a long time ago. Recently I've found myself really missing the experience of being on a proper online forum, compared to social media and all of that. So I checked out all of my old haunts, and while some of them are gone or inactive -- rest in peace PE2K -- I was happy to find that my other favorite forum is still active! Yaaay!

I've also transed my gender since the last time I logged in here, which is very funny. I was very surprised when I first logged in and saw all the stuff that teenage me wrote.

Some facts about me: I am 27 years old. My favorite Pokemon are Giratina and Murkrow, and my favorite games are DPPt. Back in the day, I used to write a lot of fanfics, usually under some variant of the name Giratina. I've been spitballing the idea of rewriting my first fic, Metal Coat, now that I'm an adult and actually somewhat competent at writing. I also enjoy playing fangames/ROM hacks, like Pokemon Reborn and Pokemon Unbound. I am a Kieran apologist.

Giratina is a great Legendary indeed! I love its floating form! And Murkrow... Murkrow...

I played Reborn too, great game, even if its battles are very hard and its puzzles hairpulling! And it is one of its characters who inspired me to come here on PokéCommunity! (You can easily guess which character ^^)
Have you tried Reborn team's newer game, Desolation ?

Gossip Gardevoir my beloved!!! And yes I agree, Pokemon Reborn is not a perfect game but I think that's a part of the charm. And I genuinely love the insanely hard battles, it makes playing Pokemon feel more like a puzzle game in itself, and overcoming that challenge always feels really good. I haven't played Desolation or Rejuvenation yet unfortunately, but that's because I'm still working on my Water monotype challenge in Reborn. Once I get all the postgame stuff taken care of, I plan to check out the other ones. It's my first time playing it since the game was completed, as my previous playthroughs happened around the time of the Amaria gym update.

Thank you!! And honestly I think it's great that there are still teenagers on this forum, it means that PokeCommunity isn't going the way of the dodo.

My favorite type is actually Psychic, despite neither of my favorite Pokemon being that type. I just feel like there really isn't a Psychic-type I don't like. And also, when I first got into Pokemon way back in the early 2000s, I received a TCG starter deck that was full of Water and Psychic types, so I think I kind of imprinted on them. I think it might have been Brain Wave but I'm not sure.

Also, I love your signature! It's very wonderhoy. Who are your favorite PJSK characters? Mine are Rui and Mizuki!

Emu Otori! it's the inspiration behind my username XD and my second fav is Mafuyu! I'm just a big fan of Wonderlands x Showtime and Nightcord at 25:00 in general too 🌟
And Mizuki is such a good character, prob my 3rd fave, I can't wait for bake no hana to come out on the eng server too so i can full combo it XD and my 4th fav is def Tsukasa <3 anyway really cool to see another pjsk fan on the forum! <3

Ah I see, thank you for your brave service. I can only imagine what problems you ran into with Murkrow's Pokedex entries, though I don't want to dredge up any traumatic memories hahahah. I actually opened up the Bulbapedia page on Psychic-types and I'm having a hard time picking a favorite, especially now that Slowking has shot way up in the rankings because my Slowking in Reborn is so goated. I could also make cases for Deoxys, Jirachi, Metagross, and Grumpig, but I think I'm gonna go with Xatu! The lore of its right eye seeing the future and its left eye seeing the past is just so cool.

Hello! To be honest I'm not too into breeding or Shiny hunting or competitive. Sometimes I just play them normally for the sake of it, but I guess my favorite thing to 'do' in a game would be Nuzlockes and randomizers. I like giving themed names to all my Pokemon and then getting really sad if they die :')

Oooh I see it now, I didn't even realize Emu was in your name before just now hahaha. Those are overall my two favorite groups as well, but I also really like MMJ! I spent a lot of time in the LLSIF mines when I was younger, so they feel really cozy and nostalgic in that way, but updated so that it's a more realistic portrayal of the realities of show business. Also Airi and Shizuku are in love. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

For sure, same! I get so excited when I find another Miku Game fan in the wild. I'm chomping at the bit for Cyberpunk Dead Boy to come out on NA for similar reasons to you lol. I often take breaks from the game, but if you don't mind that on your friends list, maybe we can add each other. :0

Thank you!! My favorite sections were Fanfiction and Writing, and also Challenges. I liked finding weird new challenge runs to do on my games and seeing what lore they (sometimes) came up with to justify them. There was at least one time where I used Action Replay to start HeartGold with a Slowpoke and played through the whole game with Conway's team.

Oh great choices!!! I honestly love all three of those, it was hard not to put Alakazam on my list but I felt like I had to stop before I listed every single one of them. It's funny you say that about Charizard; my first game was FireRed, and I chose that one over LeafGreen specifically because there was a dragon on the cover. Squirtle's line is great too! Though my favourite Water starter is Swampert! Mine soloed the whole Ruby game, League included. At highest levels, he was 1 hit KOing every opponent with Surf, Strength, Earthquake or Ice Beam! ^^
