    Hello. Just got a 3DS and Pokemon Y as a early Christmas present and I am loving the game. I came here to learn more about the game, make friends, and trade some pokemon. I am twenty-one years old and hope I can make some new friends here. Nice to meet you all.
     
    Yay! Getting Pokemon games as Christmas presents are wonderful, I must say! You'll learn a lot about the new generation of Pokemon that you are about to enter. Many people here are very knowledgeable about it, while others are at the same page as you are. :) I hope you do enjoy the game, because I heard it's a ton of fun. :) In the meantime, go on ahead and visit the section right below this one, which is all about the new XY game. Discuss friend safaris, the game play, and so much more. :)

    Thank you for the warm welcome. I've played all of the Pokemon games up until Ruby and Sapphire. Its nice to get back into the Pokemon games and I'm hopping I can get some of my old favorites.
     
    well, it's good to see i wasn't the only one who got a 3DS for christmas!

    I happen to be around your age as well, so this definitely shows that PC is full of older Pokemon players such as you and me. I've been playing Pokemon games for 10 years now, and I eventually plan to get X and Y soon to go with the 3DS XL I've had since last year. Which starter did you end up choosing? I know that when I start playing I'll be taking Froakie for sure, because I adore Water-types best not to mention how badass Greninja is.

    As Megan (aka Axeliira) said, you might be interested in the X and Y section located below this section. It has some topics you might like, as well as places to share your friend code or ask simple questions regarding the games. We also have loads of other sections as well so take time to check them out. Do have fun and if you ever need help the staff are always there, just look for those bold usernames!

    I had to pick Fennekin. I'm a big fox pokemon fan especially since Ninetails is my favorite pokemon. I also prefer fire types over most. I like to get all the starters eventually but Fennekin was the first.
     
    I picked Chespin. <3 I mean.. Chesnaught isn't my favorite of the evolved starters but the first form is pretty cute. Fennekin's been growing on me a whole lot as well and Froakie's line will always be one of the best starters, especially the shiny form.

    Welcome to the forum, Narkari! Getting a 3DS and Y for early Christmas is probably one of the best decisions ever aha. I totally would've done the same if I didn't already have one. xD;; Tons of us are still very much addicted to the sixth generation so you'll definitely have a swell time discussing it here with us. The forum's big so you can talk about pretty much anything - don't be afraid to ask if you need some help, either.
