Hello everyone!

Hiya! This is weird! I don't know how to introduce myself!

I started playing with gen 3, Ruby then FireRed, but my favorite region is Sinnoh. I love the style, the story and the music especially is just *chef's kiss*

I'm particularly interested in anything related to fan games. I've had pokemon essentials downloaded for years but recently picked it up again and haven't been able to put it down. I gotta say, the community and available tools have really improved in the tenish years since I last checked. It's really a sight to behold.

I'll probably be spending a lot of time here and I'd love to get to know the community :) I guess some questions I have for you guys are, What are your favorite fangames? What's your favorite fakemon? And for those who aren't into fangames, what's your favorite part of PC?

I don't really play fangames tbh. As for my favorite fakemon it's obviously that 1 fakemon line I made, duh!
My favorite part of these forums is just how chill it is to hang out here =3

Do you still remember your team in Ruby or FR ?

I'm not into fangames at the moment or fakemon much at all, but it's cool that you like them! And my favorite part of the PC is the community itself. There are a ton of really friendly and nice people here if you take the time to get to know them.

It is great to see more new members who have been playing since the first generations join the PokéCommunity!
If you are looking for fan games, this section is the right place!
But I can also suggest some great ones : Solar Light - Lunar Dark ; Zeta / Omicron ; Insurgence (my top favourite ^^). And if you are into top level battles, you can try Reborn (who also has hairpulling puzzles) and Desolation (not finished but ongoing and already many hours of playing)!

I am a busy Gardevoir but I can answer your questions!
Here is my favourite fakémon : Delta Charizard from Insurgence!

I also want to say Reborn and Desolation are not far behind Insurgence in my favourite fan games, for several reasons, one being really rare among fan games : A regular Pokémon treated as a character in their stories!

A lot of fans 'round here love Sinnoh. I have Shining Pearl for the Switch, so I'm planning to play that real soon. Have you played the Sinnoh remakes?

Haha, oh yes, I do, for FireRed at least. I challenged the Indigo league with the best possible team....

Blastoise and Far'fetched (aka Ch'ding), both level 85 or so

....I was five. I wasn't exactly the most strategic kindergarder lol. But hey, I beat them eventually!
I kept playing consistently up until Sun and Moon. I don't know much about Galar, but I do have Pokemon Legends

Nice to meet you too! I do have Brilliant Diamond, but I bought that around the same time as Pokemon Legends so...it kinda fell to the wayside haha

Ooooo, awesome choice! Insurgence is pretty great. Thanks for the suggestions, I haven't played Reborn yet, I'll give that one a try ^_^

Hmm....that answer changes frequently...but Treeko's my favorite starter and... Ludicolo is probably my favorite non-starter. Hoenn has some of the best designs I think, and I'm certainly not at all biased. What about you? Do you have any favorites?

Gen 3 has a lot of great Pokemon for sure! My favorite Pokemon Absol also comes from that Gen, (if my avatar pic didn't already give it away lol) and my favorite starter is the Grass Cat from Gen 9 lol. :p
