    Hi guys! So, I just downloaded Pokemon Blue for the Virtual Console, and I got myself addicted to Pokemon all over again.... I've been playing since 1998 or so (I was eight then-- hope I'm not super old for this forum :)) and I've played every generation since, although I haven't finished Pokemon Y yet. Anyways, I'm looking forward to being part of PokéCommunity!
     
    Haha, you're not super-old for this forum. I'm a few years older than you, and there are other members around our ages here. PC has a wide variety of member ages.

    You should join us over in the First Generation forum and talk about your adventures playing Blue! You can share your journey there and just talk about the features of the games. And there's plenty of other sections around the forum to talk about whatever with PC's members.

    Have fun posting around, and I hope you enjoy your time here!

    Definitely not. We do have a lot of other old members around, that's part of why I love PC so much. ;p Welcome, solocricket, good having you! I'm currently playing through Yellow and reliving all of those old memories.. so hopefully you'll join us in the first gen travel journal thread to chronicle your adventures. <3

    I've downloaded all of the RBY games; they are all nice flashbacks to the past, don't you think? Loved playing Blue and Yellow as a kid! It's super great to discuss the past games with you, and I'm pleased on meeting another long time fan. <33

    Welcome, welcome! Never too old for the things you love indeedy! Ah, but good luck on finishing Pokemon Y; it's a pretty easy game, so, you'll have no trouble beating it, I think! But yeah, I'm looking forward on your activity and participation too!
